Just returned from a few days in Ontario, Cali. Didn't really have time to adjust the circadian rhythm, so I ended up trapped in the hotel room for a couple of hours before the breakfast bar opened. The result was that I turned on the TV to have some background noise and the local news was on. Every major network had pretty people with zero personality and non-stop gloating over the indictment of PDTS.

23 Up a little before the alarm today. Got to wash the car, shave, get my hair cut, hit the library, and drop some old clothes at the Goodwill store. And pick up some more beast chow at Petco or Target. Both have the Blue Buffalo Tastefuls wet food the kittens like and are growing well on.

I can't get Dagny's snip done this week; the vet only does "procedures" on MWF, and they are booked this Good Friday when I'm off. I made an appointment for 4/14, but I may not be able to take that day off.

I'm taking off on 4/6 as well. After this month, I need some time.

Maryland's Election Commission Chairperson suddenly announced her plans to retire the DAY after O'Keefe's Organization said they were coming out with the story, and asking for a comment from her.

And that article simply reported that she was 81 years old and announced at the committee meeting that she was announcing her retirement.

There's no good interpretation of this.
If it is legit depression, it is so crippling he is unfit to serve, and this was an existing condition that should have prevented his run. No one get crippling depression 3 weeks into swearing in to the Senate.

My current church has at least tripled in size, has had to purchase a huge new building as well as opened a second satellite campus one town over. They're offering swag to people who park at a nearby private school and shuttle in on Easter Sunday (because parking is already a challenge on regular Sundays. It helps that they refused to shut down (pastor assumed he would be arrested, didn't matter), and that they preach the bible - not some 2023 woke interpretation of it.

Covid broke a lot of people, and broke a lot of already dysfunction/dying institutions. My former church (Episcopalian) is a practically a ghost town, it's so sad.

Sage advice. I use an 8 qt Rubbermade container. It's perfect for salting cabbage in for kimchee, too. No fancy lid, either. A good piece of Stretch-Tite that kind if heat shrinks over the top, and I can leave it for days without losing noticeable water volume.

I have a herd of about 40 feral mustangs that roam around where I work. There are a couple of asses out there too. A couple of cool, not psycho lesbian horse trainers down the road who know how to break mustangs and I for one am welcoming the return of the wild west.
There are about 40,000 feral horses in the sticks here in Nevada so we should be exporting them soon to needy communities.
I almost have the wife convinced we need to adopt a couple. Problem with adopting is you have to take the ones dumb enough to get caught. I want a particular "Paint" looking mare from the herd I see every day. I've fallen in love with her but she won't have nothing to do with me. She's knocked up too. Can't wait to see what her baby looks like. The Stallion that has this herd is a blonde with white socks.
