20 Morning, folken! A nasty warm Saturday ahead, just like the next 9 months, I guess. But I'm up and the kittens are chasing each other with their usual high spirits.

Miss Linda did some genealogy research on me last night. Turns out my mother's maiden name was misspelled on a lot of old records -- an inserted "R" can make a big difference. I now know the name of the tiny town in Alberta where my mother was born, her mother's name and birthplace (I'm part Polish! -- which I sorta knew), and her father's first name. And that my grandparents died when I was in high school -- and I don't remember my mother ever mentioning it. That's . . . odd.

This close to Easter, and they're arguably THE main supplier for the cheapo bunnies and eggs and what-not that most little kids get.

They came at the beginning of the pandemic, multiplied and left.
I got used to it pretty quick. The world going to shit put a damper on their plans and they wound up here for almost 3 years. My house is huge but 6 of us in here made it pretty small.
I can't believe their rent. I lived in the same complex, same size apartment in the late 80's and my rent was $295.00. Theirs in now $1600.00.

Hey it's what they wanted to do. After 3 years rent and bill free I was hoping they would buy something but their credit didn't get them near the cost of a small shed around here now.

New neighbor across the street moved in and promptly ODed and died. I'm in a bad neighborhood now. I might sell this place and move out East.
Look for a place we all can live in. Maybe a farm or a ranch in Yerrington or Fallon.

The kids kind of dropped this on us without us really knowing what was up.
