He only seems to know the "die" part of playing dead, not the "remain dead" part of it.

Makes sense, starting out, he would name check her in pretty much every interview he did.

Quienten Tarantino may be America's greatest fantasy film director ever.

The lead singer was getting used by a hot chick who had him driving her to Chicago modeling gigs, you see. Horn-based, with a great guitar riff, it could have been done by the original Chicago Transit Authority. Instead it was done by a bunch of high school kids.

Happy ending -- he wound up marrying her.

94 Re: Animals playing dead. My dad tells the story of the time he and a childhood friend cornered a possum and made it play dead. They poked a stick in its mouth until it stopped biting, then the friend decided to stick his toe in its mouth. The possum bit down on his toe and wouldn't let go until my grandad (a high school principal) ran over and hit it with a shovel.

After rendering first aid, Grandad asked him what lesson he'd learned from this experience.

"Don't ever stick your toe in a boar possum's mouth when he's done through chomping on sticks."

If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumber’d here
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles, do not reprehend:
if you pardon, we will mend:
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to ‘scape the serpent’s tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call;
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends

122 "the political enactment of the spiritual idea that each of us was created.. in the 'Imago Dei' the image of God.'

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis

This is not easy, but God is Spirit, no man has seen God at any time. Adam (man, made of dirt) was the first perfect man, the first Adam (JC was the second Adam, the second perfect man, only begotten son).

So after God created the first Adam and gave him spirit, he also created male and female (them, not him). Them does not equal him. Adam had (holy) spirit, a direct connection to God (on a condition). Eve (apparently) did not, she was deceived and disobeyed (thou shalt not surely die).

Adam was not deceived, he had (holy, image of God) spirit. But he disobeyed, so he could stay with Eve. He "died" in that very day, lost that spirit.

This entrenched dogma, that the "image of God is human", makes no sense. Not all men were created "in the image of God", only (the first) Adam. Nothing else works. God is not human. (figuratively) Moses was blinded by God's "backside".

The vernal equinox is near, occurring on March 20, 21:24 Zulu.

The length of daylight will reach 12 hours a few days before, sometime around March 17th. This length is increasing the fastest now around the equinox, at 2:12 per day here (this varies with latitude -- the higher latitudes swing wider, and the rate of change is thus greater at higher latitudes).

So over the next couple of weeks, the length of daylight is going to increase rapidly.

The vernal equinox is big in the computus of Easter. The basic rule, to first approximation is Easter is the first Sunday *after* the first full Moon occurring on or after the Equinox.

If you do that this year, you'll get Easter as April 9th, but some times that doesn't work as expected. First difference is the Ecclesiastical Equinox is defined to be March 21, always, no matter the date of the actual astronomical equinox.

The first full Moon on or after is dubbed the "Paschal full Moon" (this has to do with the old Jewish calendar defining Passover). Occasionally the Paschal date can differ from the astronomical date as well.

The computus of Easter was the main reason behind the Gregorian reform of the Julian calendar. The equinox was falling earlier and earlier, the seasons thus about 10 days behind (or ahead, depending on how you think about it) the Julian calendar.

One I could never figure on was the beat jump in 'Junior Saw It Happen' which happens just once on the get in to the guitar solo.

213 >193 There was a very nice "after dinner" Italian drink...

"Grappa" which was a final pressing of the grape vines and seeds and fermented into a liqueur which was soft and smooth and aided the "digestion" of a large Italian dinner.

Don't have a clue. This is poorly understood. Lots of theories. Solar activity appears to be increasing, and more normal.

We'll see what happens.
Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley
___________

We have, what, about 500 years of solar studies. The time between a Maunder Minimum and the next is... what? Who knows, we haven't seen one or have any sort of records since the mid-late 1700's IIRC. Plus the sun wobbles as it races around the galactic arm, forces put on it by the planets, other stars, gas, etc.

All that more or less has a hand in dictating how much variance there will be in solar output.

Or... I could be full of shit. Either way.
