  • ChatGPT cannot think, only speak. (foobuzz)

This is quite a good examination of how ChatGPT works and why it can look very smart sometimes only to immediately fall on its face a moment later.

It is literally incapable of thinking if it's not talking.

On the other hand, we all know people like that.

Can you tell who's winning?

Posted by: Bruce at March 08, 2023 06:00 AM (vd8XM)

42 Our grade school and high school are closed today.

Because the girl's basketball team is competing in the first round of the State tournament.

They were not expected to win any games in substate. They won three to be the top 3A team in their bracket. They now play the number 1 seed at the State level.

I know one of the girls on our team. She says it's going to be tough. One of the other team's players is over 6 feet tall, and is already accepted to Kansas State University's woman BB team. The opponents team record is 23-0.

We have a total of 250 in our high school. With a record of 16-7. But our coaches are local sports legends. Jordy Nelson is our assistant coach, backing up his sister who is head coach. Grammie Winger, eat your heart out.

I am going with my wife to cheer the team on.

111 The cure for dinks like Burns who say dumb shit is to press them... "How? How, exactly, is this dumb shit you're saying right now in any way true? In what way is anything DeSantis is doing right now even remotely comparable to anything Soviet?"

I'd like to see a libel tort in politics, which i don't think would necessarily go against the 1A. If anyone, person, politician, corporation, whatever, says something both damaging and preposterously and provably false about a politician, that politician can sue them for libel.

Also, there should be some kind of automatic impeachment for any official who it can be proved overtly lied to the public in their official capacity. Make the street run both ways. No more lying. Fraud is illegal. Perjury is illegal. The 1A is supposed to keep the state from quashing legitimate political discussion, not provide a mechanism for those very same liars and frauds to kill it.

116 So there are 2.5 million that make >$400k.
Lets say is $1.5 M AVE.
So 2.5 M times 1.5 M =3.75e+12
That picks up an additional 18,750,000,000 in medicare taxes with the 5% jump.

So Medicare is a TRILLION a year. So at best this may be less than 2% help.
Fraud is 10%.
