28 Yesterday, minding my own business and surfing the web on totally not naughty sites, I get a beeping sound and a 3 different well made color pages of my Mac is compromised and don't shut it down and don't close the screen and a number to call to have all of it removed.

I gurgled the info on my phone and found out it's a scam, but it sure looked legit.
Wondering how it came in into the computer though.

Honest, I was looking at a restaurant website, and had a tab open for a hotel.

That's what BIL said...the perfect parrot.

He and sis both got at least the initial shots. Don't know about boosters, except they went to eastern yurrup at Christmas and I don't know if airlines/certain countries require?

Both have been *very sick* several times in last 3 years.

Hubby and I, unvaxxed, have barely had the sniffles in that time. We have been to Dr's offices and hospital/ER countless times since 2020... Ugh!

She's not been sick, but she has developed persistent dizziness. So much so that I have to walk with her and hold her hand more often than not.

What she probably means is that as we age the fluid in our Eustachian tubes thickens and crystallizes and doesn't flow like it did, which is why vertigo is more common with aging. The Epley maneuver helps the liquid get back to where it is supposed to be.

WD says the only thing it the issue does is make Windows report that error, but for my system, it adds ~10 seconds to boot time as well.
