The 7950X3D is not four times faster than the regular 7950X when using the integrated graphics. (Tom's Hardware)

The original story from PC Magazine has been updated to reflect the fact that the figures for the 7950X were originally taken with an outdated driver that gave radically lower than normal performance.

The updated tests now show that the integrated graphics performance of AMD and Intel's desktop chips is basically identical. AMD provides one sixth the performance of last year's laptop chips, where Intel provides one third the performance of this year's laptop chips, but AMD's laptop chips from last year had twice the graphics performance of Intel's chips from this year, so for example the racing game F1 22 gets exactly 33 fps at 1080p, lowest quality, whether you're on a 7950X, 7950X3D, or 13900K.

Or a 13500, which seems like the best option from Intel's desktop lineup. Six P cores and eight E cores at 65W. I'm thinking of getting two 13500 systems rather than one big 7900X or 7950X system

I checked my two regular fixers and both are out of the 7950X3D, while one of them still has the 7900X3D available.

I'm not planning to buy either one, though. There's notable benefit for non-gaming tasks and the required drivers make everything more complicated. At least with Intel chips the P cores are always faster than the E cores. On the X3D chips, which cores are faster varies with the application.

I remember writing a calculator program for my son to use on his computer to check his homework. He was maybe nine or ten at the time. It worked great except the answer was always off by one - intentionally. When he discovered it I said, "How could that be? Computers are always right."

He now lives in a great big house on a nice piece of land and works out of the house. Writing software.

Because I ended up writing front office software for the school my son attended he would transport 3.5 discs to school and update their computers. We installed a home network and he became savvy in that. The middle school he attended noticed he was computer savvy and hired him part time after school for network management. The high school he next attended hired him part time, too. Within weeks of attending college they hired him but wanted him full time with an amazing salary and benefits. Tuition free.

For a long time, according to Roman Julian calendar practice, there was not a Feb 29 in leap year. In a leap year, Feb 24th was doubled. This was known as the "bissextus". The 24th was the 6th day before March 1, and that was the "sex".

You had a sex, and a bi-sex, the second sixth. It wasn't until 1750, that Feb. 29 was legally adopted by British law. The Gregorian calendar was adopted by Britain until 1752.

George Washington was born before Great Britain switched to the Gregorian calendar. When he was born, the date was Feb 11, 1731.

In the Gregorian that date is Feb 22, 1732. The shift of 11 days is due to the Gregorian leap year change, and the change of year is due the change in the start of the calendar year. Previous to the 1750 Act, the new year started on March 25, rather than Jan 1.

The term for extended a calendar backwards in time is called "proleptic". Thus Feb 22, 1732 is a proleptic birthday of Geo. Washington.

You would think "retroactive" would be the word for extending a calendar backwards in time.

"Pro" in proleptic means "going forward". This comes from the sense of thinking in terms of going back into the past, considering that the present, and then using the future, pro, calendar.

But still, you are pulling the new calendar backwards, so I say "retro" it should be, not "pro".

I mean, looking at those numbers you might expect some abatement as the 'vaccine' slowly attrits out of the body. But excess deaths is not slowing, only increasing. I sure wish my daughter and her husband had not gotten it.

To go on our Cunard cruise from Vancouver, Canada required vaccination.
I had the local Health Department go away after I refused the Pfizer and Moderna shots, and come back with a J & J shot (which I wanted) picked out just for me. Probably cross-referenced a punishment vial with my Google enemy of the left file.

I have new and big health issues after the shot. Saving my wife's life for the 9th and 10th time on that cruise is not as great a trade as I thought at the time.

152 One evening, my buddy and i were walking from one bar to another. It was a bit drizzly and sloppy out. I found a twenty lying on the sidewalk. I picked it up, and immediately got an evil, weird feeling about it, so i draped it across a railing so it could dry out and somebody else could take it. My friend laughed, and went to take it himself, and got the same thing, and hung it back up.

Hours later, walking back the same path, we saw the thing still hanging there. This is basically a main road through town, not isolated or empty by any means. While we were not quite to the railing, some dude came by the other direction, saw the twenty, grinned and picked it up, and promptly set it back down again and walked away.

That twenty was cursed, I'm telling ya. I just felt like telling that story, apropos of finding money in public.

I think the rule of thumb is it takes an hour per drink to get back down to zero. So if you knock back three cans, it'll be three hours until your bac is close to zero again.

Obviously changes for drink strength, body type, metabolism, etc.
