I guess this can be described as a natural-course roller-coaster. Maybe this follows the lines of the actual old mine tracks.

The second one is just a swiss town with a waterfall. No mine carts.

Flew with 2 stops last Friday and back on Sunday. On one after loading us they decided the pilot's chair had to be completely replaced. I barely made my connecting flight.

There is such a thing as cog railways. Usually very steep, very straight. The locomotive has cog wheels that engage a toothed rack between the rails.

The history of hyperinflation is usually to revalue the currency or establish a new one, and then because that just changes the number of zeroes required to buy a loaf of bread and does not address the issues that caused the problem, hyperinflation goes into overdrive again.
Brazil has been doing this for near on fifty years.

The only way off is to adopt a hard currency that the central bank or government can inflate at will.
It also requires the end of fractional reserve in banking to make sure the banks can't inflate by loaning out on the gold in reserve more than once.
This means the end of a lot of the fancy financing we have now, but it also eliminates most of the business cycles and the defaults caused by manipulation of the currency and inflation.
