I've pointed out repeatedly: These people only have a bachelor's degree and not even a difficult one. And yet they all have decided they're actual psychiatrists -- medical doctors-- with specializations in childhood mental illnesses when it comes to diagnosing other people's children.

Is Stephen Colbert going to lecture teachers about Staying In Their Lanes or nah? Nah, right? Of course nah. All leftists are automatically geniuses with honorary advanced degrees in all fields of human knowledge simply by virtue of Voting Blue No Matter What You Do!

These Woke Know-Nothings are the ultimate Dunning-Krueger cadre. The very fact that they would even consider themselves competent to do this is proof that they are utterly unsuited for this job and must be removed from it and barred from all other jobs which involve caring for and supervising children.

The parents are suing. I wish they could bring a private cause of criminal action.

A Long Island teacher "forced" a 5th-grade girl to go by a male name and pronouns, confusing the child so much that she had suicidal thoughts, a lawsuit alleges.
Debra Rosenquist -- a 5th-grade teacher at Terryville Road Elementary School in Port Jefferson Station -- started calling the 9-year-old Leo and using opposite gender pronouns toward the beginning of the 2021-'22 school year, according to a lawsuit filed in Suffolk County Court by the child's parents last month.
The parents say they were only clued in about what was happening in January 2022, when the school principal called them telling them their child -- referred to in court papers as A.V. -- had drawn a picture of a girl, writing "I wanna kill myself" and "I feel sad like a lot," the filing claims.
The principal also informed the parents that A.V. had even met with the school psychologist telling the mental health worker that she "was confused about her gender identity," the court papers say.
Despite Rosenquist, 62, having referred to the student "for months at that point" as Leo, it was only during the Jan. 27, 2022 call that the parents were asked for the first time if this name was okay, the suit claims.
The parents were supportive "as long as it was A.V. who had requested the name change," the filing said.
But they had doubts she had asked to be called Leo to identify as a boy -- in the past, she been called that by a friend but in reference to her astrological sign.
A.V.'s parents also became concerned when they saw complaints against Rosenquist on Facebook, claiming the teacher had been reported for abuse but that the school district had done nothing about it because she was tenured, the suit alleges.

During a deeper dig into the social media comments, the parents found that Rosenquist didn't follow the school curriculum and taught her students about transgender people and told kids to "try being gay" or try going by the opposite gender, the suit claims.
The educator even made her own LGBTQ+ book called "I Am Neither" for her 9 and 10-year-old students and assigned a book called "When Aiden Becomes a Brother," according to the lawsuit.
While the parents weren't concerned by the topic, they were worried that it was being taught at too young an age and were also worried that Rosenquist "had significantly deviated from the district's curriculum," the suit claims.

One of the parents met with the principal, the superintendent and the assistant superintendent on Feb. 3, 2022 where the administrators "admitted that the issue was 'not handled properly'" and said they hadn't known about the off-curriculum materials that Rosenquist had been using, the filing alleges.
While they said they had investigated, "it was clear the investigation was superficial at best," the suit claims.

Did she say that? Where's the transcript? Or is there not one (probably isn't) and this is the equivalent to an FBI 302? The latter is my guess.

First, unless she was specifically ~~coached~~ groomed into it, that isn't the kind of language kids use. Second, even if she did say that, the responsibility of the shrink is to tell the kid's *parents* about it, not tell the teacher to start calling her a boy and driving her into madness.

I had an excellent math teacher in high school, in the 10th grade. He is the only teacher I have ever heard who broke from that narrative. A couple groups of kids were going to Boston Chicken on a weekend. It was a coincidence, we did not go together.

He was there with his family. We all just ran into him. One of the smarmy little shits started sucking up like that, but in a really offensive way. He said something like, "it's nice that you can go out with your family, given how little teachers are paid."

The teacher was having none of it. He said, "I'm paid decently. I'm not going to get rich doing this, but I also only work 10 months a year and have excellent job security and benefits. Those are worth a lot, too. Teachers don't have it that bad."

The kid visibly deflated in front of him. Talk about a backfire. I don't really blame him, though. That line would have worked 95% of the time.

168 I watched the video with the kid. I'm not sure that's a gay book. There was no mention of the title or the sex of the narrator. It's inappropriate either way. But it was probably gay because of course it was.

The main take-away point I got from the narration is that this is 100% a groomer book. It describes the sex as something new and magical, something that you MUST try and try it now!

The author deliberately wrote it to appeal to very young kids who don't know about sex and haven't tried it. You wouldn't write that way if you aimed the book at a mature audience.

Been in that boat. Three kids. Two kids still in high school. Special needs of varying degrees/issues. Most Catholic schools do not have the support needed for special needs. One just opened in our area Julie Billiart catholic for special needs kids. K-8. You have to look around for them because they don't advertize. If they exist in your area they will have a long waiting list for admission. We are in a pretty good public school district. You get wacky teachers in some grades and you have to pay attention. At the end of the day, you have wacky teachers in catholic schools also, so it really depends on the school and the admin, the teachers. Look at the people on the school board. If they are woke progressive types, you might want to move.

I still think that's basically cheating and ruins actual measurement of one's accumulated knowledge. Pray for those who are stuck there. Not just the poor. There are avenues for a destitute student who wants to improve. The truly stuck are the special needs kids. I recently had to put my delayed son in public school. Feel free to doubt I had to, until you add up private therapy for speech, motor delays, profound dyslexia, and general social delay. It's WAY more than paying my property taxes twice. I wouldn't be able to feed him even with the fact that my insurance covers some. It will be hard to supplement, although we will do it.

I took both the ACT and SAT. BYU had a formula for translating one score to the other and took your higher score as your entrance qualification.

Been in that boat. Three kids. Two kids still in high school. Special needs of varying degrees/issues. Most Catholic schools do not have the support needed for special needs. One just opened in our area Julie Billiart catholic for special needs kids. K-8. You have to look around for them because they don't advertize. If they exist in your area they will have a long waiting list for admission. We are in a pretty good public school district. You get wacky teachers in some grades and you have to pay attention. At the end of the day, you have wacky teachers in catholic schools also, so it really depends on the school and the admin, the teachers. Look at the people on the school board. If they are woke progressive types, you might want to move.

In applying to the Hudson Valley School for Wayward Youth, I had to send my SAT scores to my (later convicted felon) congresscritter as well. I accidentally transposed two digits in the code that ID'd his office, and my scores would up getting sent to...wait for it...Maharishi International University. I live in one of the best school District, they have PI's checking out kids Parents that might not be in our District

then hang in the public school but go to the meet the teachers stuff, keep an eye on the school board and pay attention to reading assignments etc.

My oldest wasn't super verbal right away and his issues in way insulated him from outside influences. He's extremely close to his parents and teachers didn't have that great an impact on him. The younger two are less affected and more social. The single most important and best way to teach kids with specials needs is by example. If you live it they will take that as their norm. You have no choice but to become a better person. Nothing less than sainthood as a goal. Don't preach. Do. They are watching. I am rooting for you.

Raise them up in the way they should go while they are young, and when they are old they will not depart from it.

Which is why the evil ones are always trying to get them young.

I had the same score at the time it was 1600 max. Split was 780 math, 700 verbal. I still kick myself for blowing that one math question that cost me the perfect score. (Or at least I think it was that one question that cost me the score.) I answered the question with time running out. Literally as soon as time ended I realized I'd made a dumb mistake. Easy question. I just fucked it up.

515 I actually recall the first time this happened to me. I was completely shocked. As a gentleman, I did everything I could get out of her way - turned and leaned out of the way. She crossed behind me, and as I leaned over away from her -- she leaned way over me and rubbed them across my back. Went out of her way to make very firm contact while grabbing my shoulders. Then acted like nothing happened. She was a grade ahead of me. I was in seventh grade. She was a very quiet girl.

It only happened once.

Later in my twenties I went to a dance club with friends and was wearing suit. Took coat off went on dance floor and some hot girl snapped my suspenders from behind. She was dancing with some dude so I just laughed and turned back around. I got snapped again, turned around and it was the guy she was dancing with that snapped me. I got the hell out of there. Not how I roll.

522 I remember taking one of those "iq" tests in 6th grade with all those weird shapes that ALL looked like bats to me though the jewish psychology B.A. "guidance" counselor proclaimed there of course was only one (1) correct answer for each of these questions. About two weeks hence me parents were summoned to be advised I clocked a "border line" retarded score. They suggested to Maw and Paw I retake it to which I fuckin refused. Maw and Paw concurred because they knew I wasn't retarded although disruptive at least. Three months later I stabbed me art teacher in her right ass with a pair of scissors for swinging me into a heavy desk and secondary to this her breath always STUNK. Out I went through the 7th grade assigned to a NYC 700 Section school for me transgression/s. I had a great time there. Best year for me including chasing skirt in college.

524 I don't see why the drawing of a girl with the words "i want to kill myself" won't be used to to defend the school and teacher. They can easily find a willing "expert" to testify that the drawing means that the child was suicidal at the thought of having to live his life as a girl. The child clearly needs gender affirming care and surgery or will wind up dead.

528 Actually many of them have Masters Degrees. But all that takes is taking a bunch of courses part-time with no original research needed. They get them because unlike any other profession they automatically get raises when they get them. I would love someone to show that a M.Ed. actually makes you a better teacher and worth the extra money.
