People management 101. Any company or platoon grade leader learns it, usually from a NCO. Consistent standards, explanations on why, with an absolute focus on safety. In the rare cases it gets bad, I used to sing. That unites the students to ask me to "Stop Singing!!!". Good times. Now that I do not sing, they sit by me, and I ask how their day is going, what is their favorite class, and for the names of their pets. Put this in your back pocket when Tax The Rich comes up.
The top income tax in 1962 was 91 percent. After deductions and credits, only 447 tax filers out of 71 million paid any taxes at the top rate. Even when the top tax rate was lowered to 70%, not much changed. Only 3,626 out of 75 million taxpayers actually paid taxes up to 70%. When Regan dropped the top rate to 28% collections from the Top 1% went up by 5% as it was easier to pay than to work the deductions. Posted by: rhennigantx at February 28, 2023 06:35 AM (BRHaw) 116

This is also being proposed here in Harris County. Put section 8 housing in nice part of county, and then when the people there find they cannot get to the county hospital and the jail because the public transportation ran by the county does not go to those sections of town, they can claim RACISM. Posted by: fd at February 28, 2023 07:19 AM (iayUP) the Fund can only be used for two purposes: to compensate eligible harmed consumers and, to the extent that victim payments are not practicable, to provide funding for consumer education and financial literacy programs. If victims cannot be located or it is otherwise not practicable to pay victims, the Bureau may keep the money in the Fund for victims in future cases, or the Bureau may use money in the Fund for consumer education and financial literacy programs. Good morning! I said a while back that if it were shown that the US funded bioweapon research in China and the result was the COVID global pandemic, the rest of the world would have every right to seek reparations. It's going to interesting to see what country, if any, tosses that idea out for consideration.
Their reparations is a century of Pax Americana. Remove that and Jack Sparrow controls the shipping lanes, which is at the heart of global supply chain and the reason why eight billion people are alive all at once on this planet. That means that you want to run your programs on the chiplet that gives the best results for that particular code. For games that's usually the chiplet with the cache; for applications it's usually the other one. AMD has driver software for Windows to do this automatically but it doesn't always pick the right cores.
I watched the "Hardware Unboxed" video review (Their studio is in Austin, right?), and they made the same point. If it's just a software thing, then AMD will work it out with the software studios and the 7950 X3D will RULE. I liked their 78000 X3D "simulation" entry (HU turned off the "slow" chiplet) and it did very well with games. I suspect the "real" 7800 X3D will be well-tuned and ready to rumble.
