ICYMI: DOE Determines Covid Leaked From China's Wuhan Bat Virus Lab, Which Was So Obvious That Everyone Except the Technocratic Non-Elite Have Known It For Years

The Wall Street Journal reported this morning that the Department of Energy now believes, or now admits to knowing, that the Wuhan Flu came from the Wuhan bioweapons lab that designed it.

The junta, in its own quiet sort of way, has basically admitted what we've suspected for the past three years and was more or less confirmed since then by independent and unimpeachable sources that the General Tso's Sicken, also known as Chinese COVID-19 did in fact originate in a Chi-Com level 4 bioweapons lab in Wuhan, and not from a wet market conveniently located next door.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday the Energy Department’s revised assessment of the pandemic’s origins is based on fresh intelligence noted in an update to a 2021 document by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’ office.
The WSJ further states while the investigation is ongoing, more authorities are coming to the lab leak hypothesis however there is as yet no unanimous decision:

The new report highlights how different parts of the intelligence community have arrived at disparate judgments about the pandemic’s origin. The Energy Department now joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation in saying the virus likely spread via a mishap at a Chinese laboratory.
Four other agencies, along with a national intelligence panel, still judge that it was likely the result of a natural transmission, and two are undecided.
. . . Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) doubled down on questions addressing the origins of the Chinese coronavirus as far back as 2021, noting the lab leak hypothesis was “always reasonable” but quickly denounced as a conspiracy theory by “reporters & activists in white lab coats. . . ”
. . . U.S. officials reportedly have declined to give details on the fresh intelligence and analysis that led the Energy Department to change its position.
They added while the Energy Department and the FBI each say an unintended lab leak is most likely, they arrived at those conclusions for different reasons, the WSJ concludes.

“One of the things in that ‘Wall Street Journal’ report which I can’t confirm or deny, but I will say the reference to the Department of Energy, President Biden specifically requested that the National Labs, which are part of the Department of Energy, be brought into this assessment because he wants to put every tool at use to be able to figure out what happened here,” he responded. “And if we gain any further insight or information, we will share it with Congress and we will share it with the American people. But, right now, there is not a definitive answer that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question.”
Translation: "We're going to find the miscreant at the Department of Energy and arrange a dinner date with him/her and Jeffrey Epstein. On the menu will be fish wrapped in flak jacket a la Luca Brasi."
For those keeping score at home, Jake Sullivan was a prime conspirator in the Hillary Clinton bought and paid for Russia collusion hoax. In any case, you have to marvel on the one hand of the sheer deviousness and criminality of these people, yet at the same time, their absolute incompetence at the jobs they are given and sheer stupidity in keeping all their schemes in the air.

Why is this story so important? It shows:
1) unelected government officials have huge power to pursue dangerous agendas.
2) rather than holding them accountable, corporate media cover for them.
3) tech censorship ends up promoting rather than suppressing "disinformation."

21 That this came from DOE is still raising an eyebrow for me. This kind of thing is way, way outside the scope of the DOE. Yes, the DOE controls the national laboratories, but those labs are tangentially related to biological research. Those are primarily physics and energy labs. They do protein folding research and make a lot of medical isotopes and try to find new things that can work in medicine, but those are secondary functions.

Is this a case of the overlapping mandates and duplications that bureaucracies love so much showing their own downsides?

Our days may be numbered, but so are China's. They did not get value for money out of Biden. They own Biden, but they don't own the entire government. I thought they did, but too little of the Biden China policy makes any sense if they do. It's chaotic, but on net it's worse for China now than it was under Trump. We're decoupling from China, as are many other countries. China is retrenching.

China also has its own goals (well, Xi's goals) that have nothing to do with us. He's much more a Maoist than a Dengist and is playing different games domestically. I agree that they didn't make a mistake, but they *did* make a choice and that choice will have far-reaching consequences, especially in the context of their various other choices over the past five years.

Same here! I had literally all the symptoms, Doc didn't know what the hell it was, thought it was just a bad flu strain and gave me some antibiotics that didn't do a thing. I recovered in a week and a half or so and that was it. Wife had the same thing around that time. I still think that the Wuhan Flu release was intentional, but not directed at the US or the rest of the world, at least at first. Remember, the Hong Kong protests were getting serious about that time, spreading to other cities, and there was a lot of speculation that the ChiCom junta was in real trouble.

I think they did the release in order to justify locking down the cities without causing the rest of the world to hit them with sanctions (economically, they're a lot weaker than people think). Releasing it in Wuhan rather than directly in HK was the ChiComs being clever about deniability. Of course, they lost control of it and infected the rest of the world.

That's why their initial public statements and actions were so chaotic and contradictory. They didn't have a ready-made narrative to rely on, so within about 3 months time they tried to blame the Wuhan Flu on Australia, the US and Italy at different times. Probably more countries that I can't remember now.

I've gotten back into gaming in a major way, I'm playing a game called Stray which is about a cat who finds himself swept into a dystopian robot controlled underground trying to navigate his way back to the surface, solving puzzles, making robot friends, and finding clues that will lead him home.

The visuals and game play are stunning.

This could easily be literally translated into a Pixar movie.

Will it happen? Probably not.

I lean towards a deliberate release now. Things were in motion for jab development way, way early - Dec 2019 - despite 2-3 following months of "travel controls are racist!" and "everyone should go to Chinatown and hug random asians!"

The progs engaged in every plausibly deniable way possible to fuck up pandemic response between October 2019 (when cases started showing up in North America) and April 2020 or so. Rather than dumping water on the fire they poured on gas and threw in road flares.

In 2015, when people in this field of research US started to feel that this type of work was dangerous, Baric and Fauci had it moved to Wuhan, where Peter Daszak and the Environmental Health Alliance (which is a front organization for the CIA) worked and financed it. So Fauci sent money from his bureau, the CIA was sending money there, and the Chinese were working on it alongside Daszak and Baric.
