"Everybody's So Creative!" Delicious and Creative Recipe Ideas from The ChefsofTikTok

People are, as usual, trying to "go viral" on TikTok.

The particular way they're trying to go viral is by showing off Super-Creative "recipes." These recipes are often, but not always, "One-Pan" Lifehack Crazy Casserole Recipes.

"One Pan:" Everything is cooked in one single pan or casserole dish, so you only have to clean one thing later.

Lifehack: They employ really stupid degenerate "lifehack" tricks, like putting pasta into the dish completely dry and hard and just pouring in some water and trusting that the pasta will cook along with the rest of the fucked-up shit they put into the pan.

Does this work? Nope! But they keep on doing it!

Crazy Casserole: What is super, super popular is Guy Fieri type White Trash Horror Show recipes where you put marsmellows and Fritos into a casserole and then sprinkle Twizzlers on them and cover it all with an inch of shredded cheddar.

You think I'm exaggerating but you'll soon see that I'm not. In fact, I had to rewrite this to not give away actual "recipes."

So all of this is obviously The Holocaust, but people keep pumping out these horrible, horrible "recipes," often looking like they're making them up as they go, hoping that other assholes will think "Wow that's super crazy, I have to send this to all my asshole inbred family members."

But Comes a Hero, a woman calling herself Tanara Double Chocolate, to make fun of these absolute goons. She starts off most of her videos with her catchphrase, sarcastically praising these idiots -- "Everybody's So Creative!" -- and then marvels at the creative and disgusting "recipes."

By the way, most of these girls are pretty attractive. I think this is because all semi-hot chicks are absolutely certain that they should be famous and are pursuing one method after another to go viral on TikTok to become Influencer Stars. But they're failing at all of them. I'm sure they've all tried going viral by Meme Dancing, or by doing that stupid thing where girls just lip-sync lines of dialogue from movies. So now it's on to the next stupid thing they have absolutely no skill or aptitude for.

They're really obsessed with this pasta "lifehack."

A creative use of a Doritos bag.

How to cook a ribeye right.

Another creative steak recipe. You should definitely treat expensive steak like it's some asphalt-tenderized roadkill you found stuck up in your undercarriage.

If you've gotten bored, try these last few; I've saved the best for last.

They love this dry pasta lifehack. Yummy!!!

I would say this is the most disgusting "recipe" I've ever seen, except that I've seen the next one.

Disgusting recipe TikToks are a kind of arms race, and I think this couple dropped the nuclear bomb.

By the way, she's getting popular and just got invited to appear on Fox 29 in Philadelphia's morning show.

But since this is a food thread, I had a culinary win this morning. The kids had been begging for Belgian waffles, and my 2nd daughter noted we had old shelled peanuts, so it was a peanut butter and jelly waffle for lunch today.

To the Krusteaz full box of mix made as directed, I added 3 TB natural melted peanut butter, 1/4 of the bag of peanuts crushed, and a TBish of raw sugar and made as planned in the waffle maker.

To the top, I took a Target strawberry pie filling can and combined with a few TB of Smuckers All Natural strawberry preserves and a little water to thin, heated up to syrupy hot state.

i served the waffles for the kids with the strawberry syrup, the rest of the crushed nuts, and a swirl of whipped cream. Every kid had seconds (as did the spouse).

$20 plates at the breakfast place done for probably less than $20...

When I was in college, back in the olden days, one of my specialties was Kraft M&C coupled with a well done hamburger patty. You pout the M&C over the cooked burger patty and cover the whole thing with ketchup. I called it Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese.

Use think spaghetti. It doesn't really work with other pasta since they are too think. And use 1.85 to 2x water by weight. When the water is gone -- pasta. Throw in sauce too.

Am I a cooking genius? No. I just start with good lamb chops, don’t overcook it (a very common mistake), and keep it simple with the seasonings. Lamb has great natural flavor. Why drown it in 500 different spices. Just some pepper and za’atar.

1) Cook bacon.
2) remove bacon. save one tbsp of grease.

.... it worked! Over the hours and hours it took to cook the pasta absorbed all the water from the sauce - the residue was encrusted on the pasta and it tasted pretty good.

Yeah. I am not sure if its that people used to just suck it up and get the gut aches and gas from eating stuff they ought not to, or if it really has gotten worse. I know around 2002 my body decided half the food I love to eat I cannot any longer. Is it the preservatives? The soy in everything? Corn syrup? Something in the air?

I like that I am allowed to do my little workout business and not worry about the mortgage and utilities, etc. I am sure that will be met with some eye rolls, but I am very lucky and I really appreciate the life I have. It isn’t a big deal that I make dinner most nights and keep things rolling in the house. And I am not out there just spending his money, I drive a 2012 car because it runs and there is no need to add a car payment. I am careful with our grocery budget (to the point he tells me to knock it off and just buy the darn food), I make sure savings happens.
