I agree about Lindell - He is a true believer, but his compass spins out of control sometimes. I think he is desperate to defend Trump, and outdoes PDT's lunacy at times. I am not defending Lindell.
I also agree about Tucker, but with a caveat - Tucker is an election fraud denier. I don't trust Tucker on this issue. He seems to be keeping someone happy; maybe a Fox dictate or maybe something else.
I actually addressed this in a comment I started typing but deleted. I have seen a lot of "Something has to be done about Fox" posts on the left side of the internet, and whenever I have seen that in the past it was usually followed by Fox shifting left on a key issue. I believe they succumb to pressure. I wonder if this is a way to quash the j9 stuff for good and all.

I think TPTB are (or should be) worried about the Right's ability to crowdsource. I have not looked deep, but they seem to have done an amazing job of IDing people from the J6 tapes submitted by participants. They gave each person a label based on clothing and tracked them throughout the riot. Many are unknowns.
Things I firmly believe
- Pelosi wanted this and facilitated it
- Leftist groups participated by breaking windows, cutting tarps, etc.
- FBI/CIA was involved. I won't say how deep since I don't know.
Releasing the tapes will make a lot of problems for a lot of people. Releasing to Tucker will either
- get over the hump and give the Left another "Oh, that was debunked" talking point.
- whitewash the involvement of the above as "no evidence found."
- be "balanced" and show a lot of "riot" and not a lot of identifiable provocateurs.
I am suspicious. All I need to do is remember on November 5th Tucker looking into the camera and saying "I guess I underestimated how much the voters wanted things to get back to normal." Nothing he says about Ashli Babbit or Ray Epps will erase that.

Some guys have done some good videos exploring battle locations and relics on Guadalcanal. Have not seen any on other spots like Cape Gloucester, Bougainville, Vella Lavella.
Had an opportunity to visit Guadalcanal a few years back but just couldn't fit it in.

I have gotten better at identifying astroturf on the Lefty sites I browse.
For example, the latest massive push has been the "Biden is such a hero for going to Ukraine" bullshit. They really want that to stick and have inundated a lot of sites with that nonsense.
But a few weeks ago it was "Fox is destroying our democracy." stuff. Mostly about the usual stuff you all know. No one ever says that a failure to audit and lack of transparency is destroying our democracy. DC does not want this looked into.
I am a skeptic and nothing short of full release of tapes will satisfy.

There is validity in that, but something I have been thinking about: strong form vs weak form argument. We want to be right when we speak. I flatter myself that it is because we value Truth. However, we also know that statements will be gone over with a fine tooth comb.
The left does not do this. They come out strong and hyperbolic. They know they have cover so they can go as strong as they want. Strong is persuasive. Emotion governs.
We are still debating as if this is the days of Stevenson vs Ike. It's not. This is not a comity and compromise operation any more. They are playing to win.
I don't have an easy solution, just something I was thinking about while listening to the History of Byzantium podcast.

And perhaps a slightly different thing, but Coffee County GA. And the hilariously, obviously fraudulent "xeroxed" ballots in GA (forget which county), 103 or something ballots obviously the same one, but entered separately and given different serial numbers (whatever the term is), so, all counted.
The already-poor integrity of the process in several key states (every element: registry, voting, tabulation) was ramped up to farcical levels. And the margins of "victory" were tiny in a few cases.

Which is why, fortuitously (because I think other reasons explain the original design), the constitution provides mechanisms for dealing with suspect results. Electoral college (state power), and congressional certification. Both long since pro forma, rubber stamp affairs. But both, actually, the failsafe mechanism built into the system.

Almost very aspect of election integrity was missing in 2020. It was not like one precinct here or there was suspect. It was that entire counties and cities could not show a verifiable audit trail of custody and accuracy.

I used to do that a lot. Hunted with primitive weapons for a while. Used an atlatl but never took a deer with it.
You can practice making projectile points with glass bottles. Lots of fun to make different ones while sitting around a campfire or catfishing.

If you have significant assets, at least in Calif, you do NOT want things to go to probate, even with a will. Spend the money to make a Trust fund... or things will get tied of for at LEAST 2 years.
Note, even WITH a trust find... its still about a 9 month wait until things are completely clear, but at least you can get access to the assets.

There was a lot of blame to be laid on all of them (John was a dick but his bandmates weren't much better) I listened to an interview with Fogarty once where he talked about the court case, in which a judge had ruled that he couldn't use the CCR name on his own. The judge also told him not to do songs that "sounded like" CCR. He said he asked him "I'm the lead singer and the lead writer. How am I supposed to do songs where I don't sound like myself?"

It's not about owing anything to the people who spent the last 5 years turning Star Trek into woke garbage. It's about applying positive reinforcement when they step away from woke garbage. You can't say "Get Woke, Go Broke" and then ignore the reverse corollary of that statement. If you want more entertainment that isn't woke garbage, you have to show them that abandoning woke characters and storylines will be rewarded. Otherwise, what incentive do they have to change? If there's no demand for non-woke Star Trek, then there won't be any supply.
