The grisly scene where a top Bill Clinton adviser was found hanged from a tree with a gunshot wound to his chest has finally been revealed nine months after he died.
But the sheriff's report into Mark Middleton's mysterious death raises more questions than answers as it rules he died by suicide -- despite no sign of the weapon that killed him.
Middleton, 59, was found dead last May at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, an hour west of Little Rock.

'I could see that he had a gunshot wound to the chest and that he had a knot tied in an extension cord that was around his neck and it was attached to the limb directly above him.
The deputy said a search of Middleton's vehicle turned up three boxes of buckshot and a gun case -- but no weapon.

Middleton was a special advisor to Bill Clinton in the 1990s and signed Jeffrey Epstein into the White House on seven of the 17 times the late pedophile visited.
Middleton also flew on Epstein's jet, nicknamed the 'Lolita Express'. More recently he had been working for his family's HVAC business in Little Rock.
The police report was released to DailyMail.com by the Perry County sheriff's office.
According to the Arkansas Times, Middleton's family said he was suffering from depression.

Yeah, when Hillary Clinton tell you "It's your time to volundie" you tend to get depressed.

FYI, I'm personally very committed to living and I'm doing all sorts of things I don't even like doing just to live longer. Just so everyone knows, I'm not going to kill myself, my heart's in fine working order, and I don't ski.

As Gavin McIness said, if I should be found to have "committed suicide" or "died by misadventure," please make all convenient inquiries.

Hat tip to Joe Cunningham: Biden has repeatedly threatened to run in 2024 -- and reportedly, he was to announce his reelection campaign shortly after the February 9 State of the Union.

But no such announcement came, and none is scheduled now.

Democrats see Biden suffering from a state of paralysis, which affects their plans to run if he doesn't.

Joe Biden's closest advisers have spent months preparing for him to formally announce his reelection campaign. But with the president still not ready to make the plunge, a sense of doubt is creeping into conversations around 2024: What if he decides not to?
Biden's past decisions around seeking the presidency have been protracted, painstaking affairs. This time, he has slipped past his most ambitious timetable, as previously outlined by advisers, to launch in February. Now they are coalescing around April.
But even that target is less than definitive. People in the president's orbit say there is no hard deadline or formal process in place for arriving at a launch date decision. According to four people familiar with the president's thinking, a final call has been pushed aside as real-world events intervene. His cloak-and-dagger trip to Kyiv over the holiday weekend took meticulous planning and the positive reaction to it was seen internally as providing him with more runway to turn back to domestic politics.
While the belief among nearly everyone in Biden's orbit is that he'll ultimately give the all-clear, his indecision has resulted in an awkward deep-freeze across the party -- in which some potential presidential aspirants and scores of major donors are strategizing and even developing a Plan B while trying to remain respectful and publicly supportive of the 80-year-old president.
Democratic Govs. JB Pritzker of Illinois, Gavin Newsom of California and Phil Murphy of New Jersey have taken steps that could be seen as aimed at keeping the door cracked if Biden bows out -- though with enough ambiguity to give them plausible deniability. Senators like Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar have been making similar moves.
People directly in touch with the president described him as a kind of Hamlet on Delaware's Christina River, warily biding his time as he ponders the particulars of his final campaign. In interviews, these people relayed an impression that the conventional wisdom in Washington, D.C. -- that there's simply no way he passes on 2024 -- has crystallized too hard, too soon.
"An inertia has set in," one Biden confidant said. "It's not that he won't run, and the assumption is that he will. But nothing is decided. And it won't be decided until it is."

Speaking of inertia, which brings up the topic of botox, which brings up Governor Newsom -- Governor Newsom turns a $102 billion surplus -- that was mostly due to tech industry capital gains tax boon and covid relief funds -- into a 20-30 billion deficit.

And -- whoopsie! -- Newsom "underestimated" the deficit by $7 billion.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D)'s projected budget deficit of $22.5 billion may have been too low by $7 billion, according to a report last week by the nonpartisan Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO).
As Fox News notes, Newsom told Californians last month to expect a $22.5 billion deficit in the coming fiscal year -- after a surplus of $100 billion, driven in part by federal grants for coronavirus relief spending.

Meanwhile, DeSantis unveils a list of 14 Woke School Board members he's targeting for unemployment in 2024.

Trump toured Ohio today, unlike Biden or Secretary of Chestfeeding Mayor Butt.

That there's no chance they'll see the inside of a prison isn't really the issue for them. The issue is that it's not a 100% guarantee. 99.9% leaves a margin of error.

The Clintons understand what it takes to be ruthless.
