The Daily Kos crowd is losing their mind that McCarthy gave Tucker exclusive access to the j6 videos. Their arguments running two directions. First is McCarthy doesn't own them so he can't give them away and because of that he should be impeached or hung. And in a contradictory direction if Tucker can have the videos then everybody should have access to the videos which is kind of funny because when Pelosi was sitting on them not one of them thought it was wrong. I started to look at the antibiotic resistance article and made it this far:
(WHO) identified antimicrobial resistance among the major threats to global health, food security and economic stability,1 attributing to 1.27 million deaths annually with the highest burden in low- and middle-income countries.2 This public health crisis is predicted to worsen due to climate change—a force-multiplier for the spread of infectious disease and antimicrobial resistance. My early guess would be that the effectiveness of this antibiotic is less breakthrough and more hype. I guess time will tell. Posted by: Muldoon at February 21, 2023 04:29 AM (ykeLU) 41

I admire Franklin,s incisive instinct intelligence and love for his country, but I think he was probably more of a Deist than a Christian, I believed he admired some moral stands of Jesus, but thought God basically created the world and took his hands out of it. Which is where the idea that "God helps those who help themselves" comes from, I think. Bible seems to suggest God helps the helpless and for myself while I don't encourage a passive inactivity at all, I want to try to be sure that my plans are in keeping with the will of God. Posted by: Tinfoilbaby at February 21, 2023 *** It's the big celebration day before the 40-some days of Lent. Its alternate name, Carnival, means "farewell to the flesh," meaning you were supposed to give up eating meat (and maybe sexual relations? I dunno) until Easter. In recent years the city has revived the old custom of calling the day before Mardi Gras "Lundi Gras," meaning "Fat Monday" -- another excuse to take off from work, drink, and eat. Since it sometimes appears that half the denizens of this place do no work anyway, it seems pretty pointless to designate a special day for it. Pulled this off of the ONT:
“Almost no one should be dying of COVID in the U.S. today. People who are denying themselves that opportunity are dying because they’re misinformed.” FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf I am simply astounded at this pure pile of BS. No, I didn't click on the link. I don't need to really. The implication he makes is clear. Get vaxxed and you won't die. By now, we all know what a pack of lies that is. And you want to talk about "misinformation," Skippy? Let's start with the proven benefits of Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine to name a few. The very things that could have saved 1000s of lives had you not run your misinformation campaign on them. His statement is so ludicrous it makes me want to take him and throw him into a vat of acid.
