Immunity acquired from a Covid infection is as protective as vaccination against severe illness and death, study finds
The immunity generated from an infection was found to be "at least as high, if not higher" than that provided by two doses of an mRNA vaccine.
Immunity acquired from a Covid infection provides strong, lasting protection against the most severe outcomes of the illness, according to research published Thursday in The Lancet -- protection, experts say, that's on par with what's provided through two doses of an mRNA vaccine.
Infection-acquired immunity cut the risk of hospitalization and death from a Covid reinfection by 88% for at least 10 months, the study found.
"This is really good news, in the sense that protection against severe disease and death after infection is really quite sustained at 10 months," said the senior study author, Dr. Christopher Murray, the director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.
The findings may be a small silver lining to the explosive omicron outbreak of last winter. With so many people infected, many most likely still benefit from that protection against severe disease, Murray said.
Still, experts stress that vaccination is the preferable route to immunity, given the risks of Covid, particularly in unvaccinated people.

What he's saying, as the next few paragraphs explain, is that it's better to get vaccinated than to say, and I quote him, "I'm going to get infected to get immunity." That is, it's better to get the vaccine than to go bug-chasing to get sick just to get subsequent immunity.

Um, literally no one does that. So yes, a vaccine is better than that. (Maybe... except for the risks associated with the vaccine, which are still unknown/unacknowledged.)

But a vaccine is not better than acquired immunity. Acquired immunity is stronger than the non-vaccination vaccination's immunity.

But MSNBC had to contrive a goofy scenario so that a doctor could shill for the vaccine and undermine what the science -- the real science, I mean -- actually says.

I know someone might object and say they didn't know for certain that prior exposure to covid provided strong immunity -- as prior exposure to almost any specific strain of disease confers immunity -- but they never even allowed that this was a serious possibility. They refused to ever take prior exposure into account, and kept insisting that natural immunity either did not exist with covid or provided weaker protection than the non-vaccination vaccination, so you'd better get vaccinated even if you previously had covid, to get "hybrid" immunity!

Literally all they ever do is lie, and then run to social media monopolies to ban people for noticing that all they ever do is lie.

I think the news tamped that down with some made-up story with a 20 something who with his last breath uttered "I wish I'd social distanced" to his nurse.

They later rehashed the same bullshit lines with gasping patients saying "I'll take the vaccine, I'll take the vaccine" in their final moments to which the nurses could only say "I'm sorry, it's too late now." And then they danced a video on TikTok.

I'm immunocompromised, got two shots before I found out how they developed the vaxes.
Got the 'rona last year along with wife and younger child (older one, vaxxed at same time I was has had COVID at least 2x). Mine wasn't too bad, although got monoclonal antibodies fairly fast (after headache left and fever was lowering). Child was not vaxxed, got fever up to 105°F. After fever was controlled, was fine within a few days.

My daughter's friend (18 years old) had a ruptured gallbladder 2 days ago, and is not back in the ER with complications.

I got Covid a week after I got the booster. I had a sore throat one day and we were playing around with some tests we got and I took a test it said positive. I didn't believe it as after the little sore throat for one day I had nothing. I made my doctor send me for the blood test for antibodies. Yup I had antibodies. Haven't had it again that I know of.

It became obvious to me by May that there were no studies that showed the various claims, including and especially "if you DO get it, the symptoms will be less severe."

I got it again after Christmas and had less severe symptoms than the younger relatives who got it first.

I proposed getting tested for antibodies so I had to wait a couple of weeks and it came back positive at 75 whatevers the units are. He advised against getting the shot. Next test was a 44. "Don't get jabbed" he said. Most recent was 240.

She was very staunch about the vax being experimental early, telling people there was no safety data and that there were treatments if they did get it, especially if low risk. I have no idea, but the problem (as I stated in early '21) is that the flu normally encounters your immune system through the nose. Vaccines go into the blood. mRNA gets everywhere and any organ could have little protein factories planted deep. This makes it an odds equation. Maybe most people are OK, but it is a new risk.

With covid, the spike is not reliably in the blood with natural infection. This was tested very very early on, since a pin prick sample is best way to get sterile sample for PCR analysis. Most people do not have spike in blood. With vaccines you guarantee it. It will be same with flu. Some people will react badly and die.

The funny thing is the CDC/FDA changed the definition of "vaccine" to fit what they thought the clot shot would do (provide "protection" vs provide immunity). They did that in Sept 2021. They even started calling the flu shot the "flu vaccine". Which they had never called it before. It was always the flu shot. But with the new dumbed down definition of "vaccine", it could then be called a "vaccine".

But now over the past 17 months, the clot shots don't even meet the redefined definition of "vaccine". Unless they are going to redefine "vaccine" to mean "an injection which increases your odds of severe adverse effects or death".

I believe I got it in Jan 2020 (before announced to the world). But due to my previous cancer diagnosis, my oncologist had prescribed 10,000 units Vitamin D each week. I had a mild case too. I wasn't sure what it was but I had a day or two in bed drinking fluids. Worst for me was a headache, then a stupid cough that took a while to go away, but I was up and about in 2-3 days. Just the cough lingered. I take much more than the 10K now, about double that, and so far so good for the past 3 years. But I was using the xlitol nose spray when going out in major public spaces and gargling before and after too. Also used the Quercetin formula but not so much now.

That is not an extreme position for me. I know of several people that died from Covid before the Vax was here, and better treatment at the hospital(Intubate!!!That's it!!) , with vitamin C, D3 and Ivermectin (cured my son in 3 days) meant that they might have lived.

As far as I know there has been no research to discover how long the spike production lasts after a shot. It varies wildly from person to person anyway. There's no concern about precise dosage apparently.

It helps a great deal to take "Vitamin K2" along with D3, because this helps the body assimilate the D3 more effectively. I took 5000 IU of D3 for a couple of weeks (without K2) and it made me kind of sick (headaches, some nausea that disappeared when I slacked off).

Another point is that there are several proteins that are expressed in a cell infected with C19. The spike protein is the most variable, so most likely to drift from what the immune system recognizes. the other proteins are more stable.

I had SOMETHING in 2020. The oddest disease I ever had. Felt like shit, but not 'sick'. Lungs felt like I had smoked a couple packs of Pall Mall non-filter 100s every time I breathed deep. No fever. The IC nurses just prescribed some cough syrup and an inhaler. Felt it for about a week, then it went away. For whatever reason, they did not want to get me tested and I did not give a shit, so I did not get a test.

Never get the flu shot and have never had the flu as an adult. Had chickenpox as a kid and had mononucleosis after freshman year in college. Addendum: I think it was mentioned above, but somewhere around July 2020 there was some research that was quickly ignored that showed something like 60-80% of the population had natural immunity because of exposure to colds.

That cruise ship showed the same thing, too. Thousands of people, hundreds of COVIDs.

There was an election to steal, though, so none of it matters. It's important to remember that everything is fake and an op. Everything. If they're telling you something it's a lie. The trick is to figure out why they're lying.

Husband and I are elderly. No vax and no covid. We only wore masks
when we were ordered to.

We were in South Carolina during the pandemic. We went about our business as usual. We didn't see any family for almost three years because they were afraid they would give it to us.

We just were not scared of it, Husband said if he got it and died at least he would have a change of scenery, lmao.

Some people are now cut out of the will. It did get lonely.

368 If I recall correctly, healthcare workers are required to get flu shots. I worked with a nursing instructor who would be sick for a day or two after her shot and then come down with flu later in the season.

Also, when I went back to college I was required to get another measles shot which surprised me since I'd had the full course of immunizations growing up. I asked my doc if I needed another measles shot and he said no and wrote me an exemption. It was accepted at the college, but I was told I would be banned from campus if there was a measles outbreak.

And my BF refused the jab too, I still don't know why. So at least I didn't have him bugging me about getting it. I did help him write his exemption for work though

There are several proteins that make up the genetic code of C19 (4). The spike is the largest, and also the most variable. It is the one that attaches to cell receptors, and it is also the one that sticks out of the virus when whole.

When it infects a cell the cell produces all the proteins as they are the tools that tell the cell to do what the virus wants.

By only targeting the spike, the vaccines are targeting the one protein which varies from variant to variant. This is a disadvantage. It is believed that natural immunity targets several proteins and still works when the spike shifts, although not as well.

It is more complicated and I am not sure anyone really understands the immune system side. The spike is divided into 2 pieces, and being so large it can shift how it folds. The immune system works on what parts of the proteins are exposed at any time. Nature has that all figured out, but the vaccine just dumps raw spikes into the body and that is clearly not working.

For example, the vaccine induced response may be only targeting a surface of the spike which is not exposed in the whole virus, but only in the detritus created when a cell is destroyed. The immune system may end up doing clean up duty while ignoring whole viruses as they meander about and infect new cells. There is a lot more here, and I am oversimplifying, (and I don't understand mostly since I am not an expert, not even an internet expert. I only know enough to raise stupid questions.)

And, the lack of mucosal /sterilizing immunity of the mRNA vaccines in general, and Covid vaccines in particular, was already well understood, i.e. that the vax was not going to protect against transmission --though natural immunity would.

This should have been the CONFIRMATION of the superiority of natural immunity, and the complete inutility of vaccinating the infected, from AT LEAST early 2021. On top of all the other issues (relatively low mortality/morbidity of all but the obese, old, the mutation of "Covid" itself into ever-less dangerous forms, etc etc).

This late breaking "water is wet" news is the insanely insulting cherry on top of the the shit-sundae of tyranny and crimes against humanity.

MnRA "vaccinations" only stimulate immunity against one part of a virus, say the spike protein. Thus natural immunity, since it is immunity against the whole virus, will always work better (and with far less side effects).

NO vaccine will ever work well at prevention against a raspatory virus because the virus does not get into the bloodstream where the immune system can deal with it until after 7-9 days, by which time the virus has replicated in the lungs and spread to other people.
