"Republicans' displeasure with immigration for being too high is now the highest Gallup has recorded for that party. On the other hand, despite increasing in recent years, this viewpoint is less common today among independents and especially Democrats than it was in the post-9/11 years," Gallup noted.

Sources have told Radio-Canada [French CBC] the practice "has been known for a few months," adding that several agents are involved, but the exact number is unknown.

Less than half are proper Aztecs these days. We've been ventilating the male Mexican population into our country for too long for the numbers to hold.
Most are now from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and some others. They go to Mexico, and the Mexican authorities send them up to our border, using funds and other resources allocated to them from DC for that very purpose.

I was an immigrant visa officer for refugees in Greece, and I had people who had waited 14 to 15 years for their visas to be approved. Not because they were risks, but because that was how long legal immigration applications were backed up. All but a couple (who did NOT receive visas) could not wait to be Americans. They loved the US, its values and wanted to do things the right way - and they were from war torn regions where their lives were in danger.
I want these people to immigrate. Line cutters need to go back and do it the right way.

Mine as well. As long as you are not in a patient care area, you don't have to wear a mask. I had two auditors here with me last week, we went inside the main hospital for a meeting. Had to wear a mask until we got up to the 6th floor which is administrative only and then could take our masks off. Insane.

Bison is tasty. It's very, very lean, though, so if you're doing something that requires fat (like burgers), you'll need to dope it. Lard or pork fat makes for a great choice.

Bison is great. It's on a lot of menus in places like Wyoming and Montana, so when I ski out there I always get some. It's more flavorful than "regular" beef. But as JM says, Bison is surprisingly lean and therefore works best as a nice fat steak -- cooked no more than medium rare.

Curry powder isn't really curry, but its kinda close. Its difficult to describe, but it has some spices you would not ordinarily associate with dinner like cloves and cinnamon.
Its mostly turmeric, with garlic, cumin, coriander, black pepper, fenugreek, ginger, etc.

I remember a book about justifying cultural oddities as rational responses about Jews/Arab pig hatred as this: In the Mideast, pigs will die in the summer heat, and have to be fed the same food as people due to deforestation. It makes no sense to raise pork there, so the religion forbids it.
In other areas where pigs can forage in woods themselves and survive in the shade, they make sense as a protein source they are allowed.
