The Morning Report — 2/14/23

buttpluchastenohio.jpg

Good morning kids. Considering the disasters, foreign and domestic, falling all around the tyrannical clowns of the Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants Junta, but landing mostly on our heads, I have the actual solution. No, encouraging them to stick their heads in a gas oven before they abolish it (and the gas) is for afterwards. The solution is do everything the exact opposite of what you've done or plan to do in the future. That goes double for everyone who supports and votes for this, dead people and foreigners included.

Of course, that is a non-starter. But what are they going to do? In the case of Chi-Com military balloons floating across our sky, yell "Squirrel!!!!"

[So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden ordered U.S. officials on Monday to create an interagency team to investigate “unidentified aerial phenomena” after recently ordering military officials to shoot down four flying objects through North American airspace over the last ten days.

“The [so-called quote-unquote "president"], through his national security adviser, has today directed an interagency team to study the broader policy implications for detection, analysis, and disposition of unidentified aerial objects that pose either safety or security risks,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said during a White House press briefing.

Recall that before this story broke about 10 days ago, going back months, stories about UFOs and the government debating whether or not to release what it knew about them were bubbling up through the propaganda filters and reaching the surface. Well, now we know why.

The filthy Mongoloid Chi-Coms themselves admitted these things are theirs and are even demanding we return the wreckage. As I stated the other day (and I'm not claiming I'm the second coming of Kreskin-meets-Nostradamus, here), all this is is an attempt to bamboozle the LIV crowd and the Democrat base, not only for the rank ineptitude of those in charge of our national security by allowing this shit to happen, but for the rank ineptitude in handling one of the worst environmental/health disasters right here at home:

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted the Biden [junta] Monday for what he called an “everything’s fine” approach to an Ohio train derailment that sent toxic smoke spewing from the site.

“We don’t want to second-guess anybody, we’ve got to assume everybody involved is doing their best under a highly stressful situation, but did you see that mushroom cloud?” Carlson, an honorary board member of the Daily Caller News Foundation, asked. “That was caused on purpose and maybe there was a good reason, again, no second-guessing, but what it means is those clouds of toxic smoke flew up and out and that toxic smoke almost immediately began killing animals and dead fish washing up on the shore. As one hazardous materials specialist put it, ‘We basically nuked the town with chemicals. . . ’

. . . “So then representatives from the EPA, the Environmental Protection Agency arrived to restore calm. Yes, an EPA spokesperson, explained that chemicals from the derailed train did enter the local water shed and, yes, they did kill fish, but the drinking water supply remains totally safe,” Carlson said. “The fish are dead, but go ahead and fill your thermos and brew some coffee. Everything’s fine,” Carlson continued. “Now, we don’t know if the locals in East Palestine are drinking the water tonight but we can tell you that the Joe Biden administration doesn’t seem very concerned about either way. Donald Trump got over 71% of the vote in the county in the last presidential election, so that is not exactly the democratic party’s core demographic. Fentanyl, toxic waste spill, whatever they are not our voters, and by the way, what does a chemical spill have to do with climate change?”

Carlson ripped Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg for talking more about his concern over a supposed surplus of white men in construction work during a panel at the National Association of Counties conference Monday.

“So nobody is paying attention to the most critical infrastructure? Not the racist roads, but food, water, energy, transportation infrastructure,” Carlson said. “Food, water, energy, infrastructure, what does that add up to? That adds up to a country. You cannot have a country without those things.”

Peter Puffer Buttigieg might be a raging queen of a true-believing Marxist, but competent let alone having even the remotest scintilla of basic knowledge of things he has been put in charge of, he is not. Neither is this hack stooge Michael Regan whose only qualification is his melanin content and tilting at windmills. But in Soviet America, windmill tilt at YOU!

Let's set the Wayback Machine for 2015 and take you back to a place called the Animas River in Colorado:

Earlier this month, employees of the Environmental Protection Agency, acting in their official capacities, caused one of the largest hazardous waste spills in recent history.

“For almost a week, a torrent of toxic sludge — the color of hot mustard and rife with poisonous metals — has been flowing through Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. On Monday, the governor of Colorado declared a belated state of emergency, as officials announced that the popular Animas River would remain closed until at least Aug. 17,” NBC reports.

The “transparent” Obama administration, however, is hiding the actual details of how the agency ostensibly responsible for keeping our waterways clean created this environmental disaster.

As NBC reports:

So far, the EPA has said very little about the cause of the spill, and it declined msnbc’s request for additional comment. Officials acknowledged that the spill was triggered while an EPA-supervised crew was working near Silverton, Colorado, in the southwest part of the state.

Fluid from inside the Gold King Mine, shuttered since 1923, has been leaching into the surrounding area. That mine alone was a slow motion disaster, in the EPA’s opinion, and the area is shot through with dozens of similarly toxic wells. It’s so bad that the EPA has tried to declare the area a Superfund site — clearing the way for an ambitious cleanup. . .

. . . In nearby Durango, Colorado, the mayor assured people that the water was safe to drink because the city shut off its intake valve from the Animas. But farmers, tribal leaders and municipal officials elsewhere closed wells and switched thousands of residents to alternative sources of water as a precaution.

Seven water systems in New Mexico and Colorado have been affected, officials said, and the Animas River ultimately connects with the Colorado River — a source of drinking water for much of the West.

New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, a Republican, is not buying the EPA’s secret handling of the debacle. . .

. . . “The EPA hasn’t been communicating and has not been forthcoming with the state of New Mexico as to the different types of toxins. We asked all cattle, the ranchers, anyone that has any kind of livestock to keep the animals away, for people not to be in the river, do not drink the water or boil it thinking that will cause the water to be potable. The dangers in the short term and long term are unknown because the EPA is not communicating openly with the state,” Martinez added.

The timing of the dangerous spill caused by the EPA, one that would quite possibly result in criminal charges had it been caused by a private firm, is not good for the EPA.

The Environmental Protection Agency is to environmental protection as the "firemen" in Fahrenheit 451 are to putting out fires. Just like every other office in every department in every agency is to the tasks they are allegedly charged with. All of this is just cover in the name of grabbing more and more of our freedoms, allegedly in the name of our safety and security.

In the end we wind up with nothing. Less than nothing really. Recall this attempt to pass that "Waters of the United States" Act which would have given the government, via the EPA, the power to regulate not just rivers, lakes and oceans (bad enough) but literally a pond, slough, all the way down to a puddle on your property if they felt you were somehow "endangering the environment." By that I mean, using the waters on your property in a manner of your choosing. I.E. "freedom." Can't have that now, can we? If the EPA regulates waters like it did the Animas River . . .

It's not even the fools we elected, or were selected despite our votes, but the technocrats and bureaucrats who rule over us through a completely unconstitutional and massive bureaucracy that are killing us in the name of "environmental justice," "social justice" and every other "justice" under the sun with the exception of course being "equal justice under a just and stable law."

But let's not bug Peter-Puffer. His hubby has sensitive nipples and the kid's teeth are coming in. And on Valentine's Day no less.

22 The Pentagon had no idea Chinese balloons were flying across North America until some dude posted a photo of one over Billings. Then the useless twats in DC went back through their radar data and found it's past track, so they could rush out and claim they "tracked it for days" when, truth be told, they did no such thing. Now they are so freaked out by their exposed incompetence they are rushing around firing off $2 million missiles at Lord-knows-what radar traces anytime they spot one.

What a crazy thing the US military is become.

23 Michael Walsh: "Even now, they are plotting their next moves: 'climate change' lockdowns, restricted mobility, vaccine-or-carbon tax passports, electric cars, digital currency, the destruction of the fossil fuel industries, artificial scarcity, and misery shared by everybody except themselves."

And I repeat what I said yesterday - if there is another lockdown (for whatever reason), people will obey. Churches will shut down, restaurants and other businesses will close, people will strap on the slave masks, cops will happily beat the shit out of you and all the current talk about "they can't do it, it would go badly" will be as dust in the wind.

Bet against me, if you want. I still think I'm right.

This is what the "AI" nonsense will be used for. It's already visible here:

logically.ai/mission

"Since our founding in 2017, Logically has been working with governments and organizations around the globe to proactively limit the harms associated with mis- and disinformation."

It jumbles up search results into paragraphs that sound like sentences but don't really say anything, and it doesn't really say anything in a way that supports whatever the government wants.

Global Warming example here:

"Piers Corbyn is a known conspiracy theorist who pushes climate and anti-vax conspiracy misinformation. In a Double Check from Logically on OpenVAERS, available here, Piers Corbyn is listed among those spreading misleading information about Covid vaccines."

80 We need a class action lawsuit against the Covidians, because individuals lack the resources necessary to pursue them in the courts. I don't know if anyone has ever contemplated a class action 42 USC 1983 suit for deprivation of Constitutional rights, but it looks like a big money maker for the lawyers who do pursue it. To win the suit we need only demonstrate that officials did what they actually did. What is their defense? That they didn't tromp on everyone's rights? Most people don't know it, but you have a Constitutional right to Liberty, (see the 5th amendment) and that Liberty may only be taken from you by due process of law; criminal charges, a trial by jury, and the right to appeal. Random, arbitrary edicts of CDC hacks, mayors, and governors is not due process of law.

[Kurt: Do you have even the slightest inkling of the massive regulatory burden that is put on railways from the FRA, the ICC, DOT, NTSB, OSHA, and the EPA - and those are just for starters. No, you obviously do not.

Do you also know for a fact beyond any reasonable doubt that it was poor maintenance that caused this? No you do not.

Do you know what could prevent these kind of things? Pipelines.

By the way, you know who owns most of the freight railroads? Larry Fink and Warren Buffett. They take those "record profits" and fund DEMOCRATS.

But, they didn't burn the chemical right away, and waited til it was a clear and present danger to do it, so they originally had time.

If this chemical is as bad as we now know (and chemists would have known that from the get go), why was a solution to move it safely not immediately put in place as an immediate emergency need? Shouldn't there be a solution that the transporting company has in its emergency plans just for this scenario b/c a train derailment is an expected disaster? One that can be done in hours?

I mean, c'mon it was the Confederate flag. But, it was silly trying to drag a roughly 200 year old issue into the present for political gain.

But, it was an early reveal of Haley M.O.(!)

The Left whines about something and Haley immediately panics and gives in. She didn't even do the smart political thing and...form a commission or study to drag things out and see how the issue really shook out.

Haley has no, that is zero, core. And no political savvy. It's all panicky reaction with her. And that's been revealed over and over since the flag issue.

She's unworthy of being President.

I had to convince the male spouse that the kids could walk to the pool together (just there and back - not to swim) if one was 10 (the other was 7), and they could also walk alone starting at 10. It's about 1/4 mile there, all in my safe townhome neighborhood, and you'd have thought I was asking for the world. I did always tell the kids if a neighbor asked where their parents were, to ignore them and walk home, but that was never an issue. Funny enough, it was also harder to convince him to let the boys' pair do this vs the girls' (and the girls were first). But I won, and this was great for them...

There's good reason for their wariness if you think about it.

In the mid 1960s JFK - with a (D) majority Congress - signed the Community Mental Health Act, which moved insane people out of institutions and back to their local communities. Then LBJ - again, with the (D) Congress - signed Medicare/Medicaid into law, and it specifically prohibited hospitals that housed more than X (50 iirc) insane people from collecting federal funds.

That put literal crazy people not only back in the streets, but into communities. And people saw it. Yes it's rare for crazy stuff to happen, but it does happen. 159 The Confederate flag thing was the tell. I never cared one way or another about that flag. But politically, that was a simple thing: when the Left started bitching about it, the answer was to turn it up to 11. Haley should have called a presser, come out wearing a Confederate flag dress while Dixie played in the background and said "I've made a list of every carpetbagging Yankee-lover behind this campaign. The South will rise again. And when it does, every single one of you bastards is going to be in shit so deep that Abe Lincoln will cry for you in Hell. Now fuck off."

Have you ever read the late Tony Horwitz' Blue Latitudes? He decides to follow in the footsteps (or sails) of Cook and goes where the captain went. A pretty good read, IMO.

https://tinyurl.com/5cz39dau

Horwitz is also the author of Confederates in the Attic, which is a Civil War-themed trip through the South about "memory of the war," as he puts it, as well as A Voyage Long and Strange, in which he travels through the South, Southwest and North in search of Viking explorers, Columbus and conquistadors.

His last book was Spying on the South, another tour of the Southland, but when I flipped through it, it struck me as another elitist slam at Trump, so I never bought it. YMMV.

We need a class action lawsuit against the Covidians, because individuals lack the resources necessary to pursue them in the courts.

In Bath, UK, ambulances can't get through to assist because they've blockaded the roads. Of course Forbes chirps that the nearness of shops is so fucking perfect, but who gets to control what's in the shops? Supply and demand? I doubt it. I always lived so close to the grammar and high schools I went to that I always walked. Mother Poppins would drive me to HS every now and then, but usually I was trudging along in all weathers. I liked it, because school was always hell, no matter what grade and I liked to be left alone.

Posted by: Mary Poppins' Practically Perfect Piercing at February 14, 2023 08:50 AM (AW0uW)

221 But back in the day a dozen or so of us kids would hang out at the intersection where the bus stop was. Cussin', smokin', fightin' and all the other normal stuff.

When I hit high school, if the bus was running late, I frequently walked home. I also rode my bike to and from school on a regular basis. Thought nothing of it.

Not really a portmanteau. "Dracul" is Romanian for 'dragon' and the '-a' suffix means 'son of.'

"Dracula" is "Son of the Dragon."

And it's spelt "Wallachia," just for further reference.

Another case where the facts haven't stopped the media. Yahoo Sports ran a headline this week about Chris Pronger having "the same injury suffered by Damar Hamlin." Pronger actually had commotio cordis, BECAUSE HE WAS STRUCK IN HIS CHEST WITH A SLAP SHOT. There's nothing unusual about the Hamlin play, and there's been no public acknowledgment that he suffered from commotio cordis. But anything for the media to deflect blame away from Pfizer.

Posted by: J.J. Sefton at February 14, 2023 08:44 AM (x0n13)

Trump's big problem is the DeSantis is in a position of power and can and is doing things the base likes.

Trump is not in power, and so the idea is to weaken DeSantis through criticism. But, nope, Trump should ignore DeSantis until the debates, and-

use his previous position as Preezy to state what he would do differently if he were in office still both at the start of the Biden Embarrassment and right now and in the future.

Criticizing a popular guy while he's doing popular things is just stupid.

Surprisingly, that's is also the problem with the other GOP candidates. Even those in power aren't using that power in a way that's popular for the base.

That is called a tell. They aren't conservatives. If they were they would be using their power for conservative base-pleasing goals. That they aren't means....No thank you.

Trump better get smarter people onboard with him if he wants to win.

I'm available.

With Roughly 1.7 Million NFL Hits in Last 50 Years Why Have We Never Seen an “Arrhythmia” Cardiac Arrest Before?

There are roughly 130 plays in every one of the 272 regular season NFL gamesLet’s assume at least 2 players face a major impact on each play. This means roughly 35,300 impacts are in every NFL season. But there have only been two cardiac arrests in the history of NFL games. One was due to a spinal cord injury, the other was 51 years ago. In 1971 Detroit Lions Chuck Hughes caught the ball and was hit by two opposing players. Mr. Hughes is the only NFL player to die during a game.

The various aircraft being used all have cameras. You need a visual ID for a shoot down. There are numerous factors that's a provable, purposeful lie. This is a huge distraction from the fact the Chinese, in an act of war, have been violating our airspace and the Pentagon didn't know it. Well, again-
1)Extremely narrow time window - much much less than a second.
2) Good engineering by God

But, ackshewallee, if it was vax related-

Everyone on the field most likely has been vaxed, why haven't we seen a bunch of hit initiated heart attacks?

We should have seen a bunch by now.

That we don't, tells me that his heart attack was most likely not vax related.

YMMV.

365 Good morning, all. Thank you, JJ; very well said. A piece of news that largely slipped through crack, Biden fired the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), reportedly after a "scathing" IG report of personal & management lapses was issued (oversight gov, Investigation 2021-0011-INVI-P) and "lawmakers from both sides of the aisle demanded he resign or be fired." (NPR WHYY, 2/13/23)

Blanton had been nominated for the position on December 9, 2019, was confirmed by the U.S. Senate December 20th & his term ended yesterday. (aoc dot gov for his background & duties as AOC.)

But he had his warts from day one. (Architectural Record 1/17/2020, Architects React to Trump’s New ‘Architect’ of the Capitol.) And, NY1 dot com, 2/13/23 - Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil (R), who oversees the House Administration Committee (said) “Accountability started today. We really are going to shift the tone here in the committee on House administration and have accountability over all of these legislative entities up here in Washington, and the impact that they have across the country”

More nonsence IMO but if they want you, they'll make an effort.
