He made his comments in a lengthy investigation into the media handling of the biggest story of the Trump presidency. 'Bob Woodward, of the Post, told me that news coverage of the Russia inquiry "wasn't handled well" and that he thought viewers and readers had been "cheated,"' wrote Jeff Gerth for the Columbia Journalism Review. 'He urged newsrooms to "walk down the painful road of introspection."'Supposedly he called the dossier "garbage" on Fox shortly after Jake Tapper conspired with James Comey and James Clapper to make it "reportable." But that seems to be the extent of his public warnings. The rest of the warnings were private ones to his media pals.
On Jan. 15, Woodward appeared on Fox News and described the dossier as 'garbage.' Since then key details have been debunked, although U.S. intelligence community share its broad assessment that Moscow intervened in the 2016 election to help Trump.Fuck you, liar.
Woodward later told Gerth that he had spoken to Post journalists only to find they were not interested in hearing more about his concerns. There were some small amount of facebook ads that might have been Russian intel or maybe not. And they were for both sides, and not very good.
The other option is they just wanted to get people to join FB groups to market them stuff, and politics is one of the hobbies people have.
The problem is Russia does this every election, and we also do this in Russian elections, and BTW, Hillary's dossier shit was way bigger of a big deal. As it was domestic, faked, and done on purpose.

Several different books out there now--Silent Coup and a newer one that I cannot remember the title.
Woodward was a commissioned reserve officer in naval intel and the WaPo was long viewed as an outlet for the CIA and State dept. The publisher of the WaPo, Phillip Graham (suicide in the 60's) was an intel geek himself in WWII and I think that the paper was involved in Project Mockingbird to some extent as well as providing cover for NOC agents as reporters.

Hostile powers need a very large quantity of ICBMs to guarantee the US won't strike them without serious repercussion. US anti-missile defense can take down smaller quantities easily. I don't think neutralizing US retaliation capabilities are realistic.

I remember reading a book that was casting shade on the Koko - at the least the interpreters were highly motivated to find meaning in the signs, and animal trainers have trained complex actions to many animals dumber than Gorillas. It mentioned that unmentioned is that Koko often inserted extra signs between ones that researchers decided was an answer.
so if they wanted shirt-red Koko might answer paper-food-shirt-cup-man-red-banana and they'd count it.
On the flip side there's some YT videos where they have audio buttons for a cat to press to 'talk'. Unsurprisingly the favorite word is 'MAD'. I think its called BilliSpeaks. My cats get their point across with tail flips, dark looks, and ear moves even without buttons.
