Surprise! Top Director for George Soros' Political Arm Is Frequent Guest of White House

I don't know about you guys but I'm flat on my back.

A high-level director at George Soros' Open Society Foundations (OSF) who is tied to a group bankrolled by the billionaire and quietly working with President Biden's administration on policy has close access to the White House, records show.

Tom Perriello, Open Society-U.S.'s executive director and part of Soros' leadership team, and who sits on the board of Governing for Impact, an outside Soros-funded group maneuvering behind the scenes to shape and implement policy, has frequently visited the White House for meetings and events.

Perriello's name appears in White House visitor logs 13 times on eight different days between May 2021 and September 2022, the last publicly available month for the records, a Fox News Digital review has found. On three of the days he visited, multiple appointments appear in the forms.

...

OSF did not answer questions on the nature of the meetings, and the White House did not respond to an inquiry on the matter. It remains unclear precisely who Perriello met with for the sessions, as the visitor logs often contain White House staff who book appointments, meet the guests and take them to other personnel.

However, the records show that Jordan Finkelstein, the chief of staff to Biden senior adviser Anita Dunn, was one individual to greet Perriello. Richard Figueroa, a race and ethnicity policy adviser; Rachel Chiu, chief of staff in the office of political strategy and outreach; Yohannes Abraham, previously the deputy assistant to the president, chief of staff, and executive secretary of the National Security Council, also appear in the logs, among others.

Matt Polumbo recently reported that Joe Biden is the first president wholly owned by George Soros.

At 92 years old, George Soros boasts more influence than ever before in the Oval Office.

Despite dumping millions into US presidential elections before, he has, fortunately for the country, incinerated most of that money into thin air. Soros donated tens of millions to the failed presidential campaigns of John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, and even when he did score a win in Barack Obama, he would later complain that it didn't get him the sort of influence he was looking for.

He "closed the door" on him, Soros told The New York Times. "He made one phone call thanking me for my support, which was meant to last for five minutes, and I engaged him, and he had to spend another three minutes with me, so I dragged it out to eight minutes."

But as I uncovered in my book, "The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros," with President Biden, Soros' lackeys are everywhere, and the Soros infiltration of Team Biden began before he even took office.

Biden's transition team was formed after the 2020 election and quickly began staffing itself with liberals connected to Soros and his network.

Biden-assembled "Agency Review Teams," which included lists of individuals "responsible for understanding the operations" of each government agency, were tapped to prepare both Biden and Kamala Harris "to hit the ground running on Day One."

Soros was represented well by Biden's picks, with individuals working for organizations founded by or funded by Soros making up at least 17 of them. This included individuals picked to work on the transition teams of the State Department, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, United States Mission to the United Nations, Department of Defense, Department of Labor, Department of the Interior, Department of the Treasury, Federal Reserve, Banking and Securities Regulators, National Security Council, Office of the US Trade Representative and Department of Veterans Affairs.

A number of individuals within the Soros sphere of influence then entered Biden's Cabinet...

He then details them. Among them: Neena Tanden, Anthony Blinken (also a huge Hillary apparatchik) and... current acting President Ron Klain.

Read the whole thing.

Polumbo has a new article out about Soros' funding -- and essentially, ownership of -- most of the "fact" checking censorship operations in this country.

My first encounter with Soros' Reputation Management Enforcement Team -- aka, the "fact-checking" empire he funds -- came when the Weekly Standard "fact-checked" my statement that George Soros himself admitted on 60 Minutes that he aided Nazis in locating and collecting art and household treasures from Jews.

Yes, the Weekly Standard. They actually "fact-checked" a video of George Soros himself admitting that, stating that a biographer, not George Soros, had fact-checked George Soros' own statement about assisting the Nazis in looting treasure from the Jews and found that the charge was "dubious."

They actually fact-checked George Soros talking about his own life, and decided that George Soros was wrong and his third-party biographer (haigiographer?) had the facts of George Soros' life correct.

This was when they were taking money from FaceBook to employ "fact-checkers" selected by FaceBook and run them on their own site.

Again, I'm as shocked that Bill Kristol's, Steve Hayes', and Jonathan Last's Weekly Standard would smear a conservative to please a leftwing donor as anybody.

Next thing you'll tell me is that David French shills for his Big Tech donors.

Now comes this new report that a huge part of the "fact-checking" you're seeing in the media is funded by none other than George Soros.

No wonder "fact" checkers are always claiming that true statements about George Soros, such as the fact that his political donation organizations fund leftwing prosecutors to decriminalize crime, are "antisemitic conspiracy theories."

Polumbo at the New York Post:

It's not enough for George Soros to fund the media and encourage stories that back up his point of view -- he has to make sure no one disagrees with it.

Last year, Soros partnered with fellow leftist billionaire Reid Hoffman (the co-founder of LinkedIn) to financially back a project to fight so-called disinformation. The name they chose might have come from George Orwell himself: Good Information Inc.

Branding anything that goes counter-narrative as "disinformation" has become the left's latest strategy to fight anything that threatens their spin, and Soros has taken note.

Later in the year, heading into the midterms, in an open letter signed by 11 other leftist groups, the Soros-funded Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights called on Big Tech CEOs to take "immediate" action to spread so-called "voting disinformation" to "help prevent the undermining" of democracy. The signatories had received a combined $30.3 million from Soros in just a four-year period.

Gee I wonder if Bill Kristol's "Alliance Securing Democracy" received any of that sweet socialist tyrant cash.

I don't really wonder.

Soros already has had success across the Atlantic in using fact-checkers to censor narratives damaging to the left.

As the Hungarian publication Remix revealed, of the 11 Facebook-approved fact checking organizations for Central and Eastern Europe, eight were funded by Soros. As is the case for the US, these fact checking groups are largely critical of the political right.

Major fact-checking organizations such as PolitiFact, Snopes, and others have long faced allegations of left-wing political bias -- allegations a series of studies over the years have confirmed. One of the more recent studies of bias on PolitiFact found sources six times more likely to defend Biden in their "fact-checks" than check his facts.

Major funding for PolitiFact's parent company, The Poynter Institute, includes the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Ford Foundation, Soros-backed Tides Foundation and Tides Center, the Carnegie Corp. of New York among many others.

One project of the Poynter Institute specifically, the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), was launched in 2015 with its initial funding coming from the National Endowment for Democracy (backed by the US State Department), the Omidyar Network, Google, Facebook, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and George Soros' Open Society Foundations.

The IFCN acts as the "high body" for the dozens of fact-checking organizations under its umbrella, which unite under a shared code of principles, and a mission "to bring together the growing community of fact-checkers around the world and advocates of factual information in the global fight against misinformation."

Among the most well-known organizations that are affiliated with the IFCN include the Associated Press fact checker, FactCheck.org, The Dispatch fact checker, The Washington Post fact checker and PolitiFact.

Oh, Jonah Goldberg, Steve Hayes, and David French are taking money from Soros to run his "fact"-checks.

Seems like old times.

In another article, Polumbo says, with Marlowe-like understatement (or litotes, as goddess of the classroom informs me):

As I noted in my book, "The Man Behind the Curtain," bogus charges of anti-Semitism against Soros' critics are the most common line of attack among Soros-funded outlets.

You don't say.

You. Don't. Say.

I think I'm going to buy that book. I'm shocked that it's available on Amazon. Don't they know it's an antisemitic pack of Russian disinformation?!?!

Remember, NeverTrumpers are here to fight fascism and authoritarianism and disinformation. They're like war heroes. They should be granted the right to issue Challenge Coins to other "heroes" who support them.

Very much related: Brendan O'Neill writes in Spiked of the "Caesars of the Information Age," and why Trump's unbanning from Meta is no victory.

That Caesar may commute a death sentence simply reaffirms that Caesar has the power to sentence someone to death in the first place.

I thought I would feel some relief when the social-media giants came to their senses and let Donald Trump back on their platforms. Yet now that it's happened, now that Meta has decreed that Trump has served his time in the virtual wilderness and may once again post on Facebook and Instagram, I just feel unnerved. Unnerved by the extraordinary power these people wield over who may and who may not engage with the billions of souls who gather online. Unnerved by their supranational authority to grant or rescind a licence to speak in the global town square. Unnerved by the historically unprecedented dominion this small clique of the woke rich enjoys over the liberty to utter.

The unbanning of Trump feels less like a victory for freedom of speech than a triumph of Silicon Valley Caesarism. It sends the message that it is for these Emperors of the Information Age to decide who may enter the modern arena of discussion, who may have to be expelled, how long they should be expelled for, and under what conditions they may be permitted to return once their punishment is complete.

Indeed, even though Meta's statement on readmitting Trump to Facebook and Instagram is justified in the language of freedom of speech -- 'The public should be able to hear what their politicians are saying', it says, with staggering gall, given it spent the past two years preventing the public from hearing what Trump was saying -- it also says it will keep a tight leash on Trump. If he violates any of Meta's protocols, he'll be suspended again, they warn, for anywhere between one month and two years. So the politician may speak to the people, so long as he says nothing to offend the arrogant hip capitalists who control 21st-century public discussion. Their message is crystal clear: 'We're still in control, and we always will be.'

Trump was banished from social media in January 2021. Following the Capitol Hill riot of 6 January, virtually all of Silicon Valley decreed that he should be unpersoned, blacklisted, silenced. He was kicked off Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Spotify and Twitch. YouTube, Reddit and TikTok brought in stiff restrictions on the expression of pro-Trump sentiment. Google and Apple removed the Parler app from their stores, so that the virtual masses wouldn't be able to access the one platform that was still allowing Trump to speak.

It was the most comprehensive act of censorship of modern times. In fact, it was without precedent in the history of human communications. No other power in history -- not the Vatican, not the Inquisition, not the Star Chamber -- has ever enacted such a sweeping and global act of silencing. And let us not forget that Trump was the sitting US president when this happened. It was a truly egregious assault on the democratic rights of the American people, and on all internet users' right to free thought and independent judgement.

He concludes:

That these Caesars of California can restrict the reading and viewing material of billions of human beings across the Earth is simply intolerable. How have we allowed this to happen?

Read the whole thing, of course.

I'm still waiting on Matt Taibbi's coming report on Hamiton68 -- which has some association with Bill Kristol's "Alliance Securing Democracy" grift -- and that group's "methodology" for claiming that nigh-anyone who disagrees with the leftwing propaganda line of the day is a "Russian Bot."

I've always enjoyed this part. The Jewish guy that worked directly with the Nazis is the sympathetic figure that we're supposed to support because he worked against other Jews in pursuit of the goals of the Nazis, and we're anti-semites if we don't support the Jew that worked directly with the Nazis to further Nazi goals.

It reminds of Ukraine for some reason.

Majority-owned. Maybe. Red China owns several shares, as do various other outfits. The real question to ponder - and Polumbo goes into it in the subsequent excerpts - is which facets of the state machinery does Soros own? He has operators in lots of places, but does her have majority control?

We don't have a cohesive government, we have a bunch of internal empires with shifting power structures and frequent competition. How many levers of that internal game have Soros' hands on them? How many levers have the CCP's hands on them? How many levers have Big Tech's hands on them?

65 Soros is the demon behind todays Democrat Party, which is simply a bought and paid for front for his satanic pursuits. Proof? Look at every issue that ails our society and threatens to irreparably divide people. Whether crime, financial instability, the attack on our energy industry, the loss of individual rights, surrendering to globalists, the assault on the family, the defilement of our children or the ruination of our educational system. He and his league of incubus are funding it, and often proudly pursuing it. His Vichy Squad of bought and paid for frauds like Kristol, French and others justify his cloven footed pursuits for a handful of silver.

It's a sick cabal of evil that needs to be destroyed.

Go back in time a bit, just pretend history didn't start today, and these middle aged and older people didn't just appear on the scene (work with me here). Look at their "beliefs", votes, policies. Very little new here, no surprises. Soros schmoros, the rot, idiocy, and the rest exist and existed without any help from any evil shadowy tycoon.

My favorite fact-checker remains "Raw Story"

1) They always get multi-layer hyperlink embedding as cites from national news that far, far exceed their real-world gravitas. That is, one cites to another who cites to another and you have to click through multiple stories to get to the source.
2) they're an approved fact-checker for Facebook but you have to dig deep in their site to find they are also funded by Facebook
3) they are literally two people working from home, former reporters. Likely "quitted" because they were too partisan.

And this is the norm for all fact-checkers.

I doubt that he's a contractor. His LinkedIn and the like (before they were all scrubbed) said he was a director at Pfizer. Contractors at that rank would be very, very unusual. And people who work for contractors tend to affiliate with the contracting company, not the client (though the client will absolutely make a showing on the contractor's resume, since it is direct work experience).

So I doubt he was a contractor. He might well have been a nobody. Mega-corps - especially mega-corps in a hiring binge and growth spurt - grow directors like mushrooms on a filthy bathmat. He may well have been a phony director with little influence in some make-work job he stumbled into or was placed into as a favor to someone else. Even if he was, he got the shit he's boasting about from someone. He might not have actually been doing it himself, but I doubt it was totally fabricated.

168 kallisto, kudos for picking a specific thing like the DAs (other one would be the "secretary of states" project, state-level ones). But.

Voters. All those DAs are elected, and re-elected. And if *SF* can remove one, from office before their term is up, any jurisdiction can (well, if they have a recall mechanism that is). Same with secretaries of state, but more so - state legislatures (elected) drive the car on election process, and as with almost everything else, if they're serious they have the $ and power to block or change.

And the depredations of those DAs aren't based on some personal quirky (and disastrous) approach introduced by a shadowy tycoon. That approach predates any Soros $ and is found, increasingly, throughout law schools and even criminology academia.

I am having a similar problem with the COVID vaccines. One I see a lot is people making otherwise rational arguments about China - from demography to industrial challenges to military possibilities, etc. - using it as an argument point. Like, for example, "China's industrial performance will continue to decline in part because China rejected the Western vaccine, and their home-grown Sinovac is ineffective."

Nonsense, and it makes me wonder what you're up to if you make that argument. China is suffering an industrial decline that is likely to continue, and is having a COVID problem at the moment, but that either of those things would be changed by using *our* ineffective and dangerous vaccine instead of *their* ineffective and dangerous vaccine is a bizarre argument. I imagine it comes from the general narrative on the topic and the weird games of money and influence within and between think tanks and that world.

This is a very important. The post-legitimate United States has factions vying for control of the police state they created. I break it into anti-China/pro-China for simplicity's sake but that's really imprecise because some groups overlap, etc.

But using that ham-handed breakdown, it is how to tell the proxy war in the Ukraine is a sham, for example. There simply is no way the pro-China faction will allow the anti-China faction to do anything that endangers business with the PRC even if that empowers Russia. Further, the MIC is a faction unto itself and would love the proxy war to continue ad infinitum but will not risk direct involvement because it would reveal the US as a pitiful giant.

Properly viewed as a gangster state that has turf wars from time to time, the current iteration of the United States makes sense.

Pelosi was drunk at least. the perp was off, but it could have been organic craziness. Other thing I noticed was that there was blue painter's tape around the front door windows like it was prepped for a exterior paint job. So didn't this guy supposedly gain access by kicking in the back door? Did he bring the hammer with him, did Pelosi pick it up for self defense? They both have possession of it at the time the cops open the door.

I got a couple leftists to say that Nazi Germany was good in some ways when I laid out the historical facts of what they did when they took power.
1) Top down control of the economy down to what kind of tables you can have in your cafe
2) Government provided day care, putting women to work after they give birth
3) Government paid health care
4) Eliminating all Christian private schools, only allowing government schools.

Curiously enough, after the regime was toppled, Germany kept almost all of those policies.

330 This chatGPT really highlights a big issue I have with many people.
For me, language is inextricably connected to reality. Language uses words and syntax to convey truth.

But to many people (many on Left,) language is a tool to manipulate and control. Stalin-esque. Stalin is famous for saying that you say what you need to say because words are cheap. That is what chatGPT is doing - it is emulating language without connection to truth.

It is often close to truth since it is anchored in the training material, but that is incidental and not inherent in how it works. This is not AI, but AL - artificial language.

348 Q: "Is the implementation of socialism a reasonable price to pay to obtain single-payer healthcare?"

A: "The implementation of socialism, like any political ideology or economic system, can have a wide range of consequences and trade-offs. Single-payer healthcare, which is a system where healthcare is provided and financed by the government, is one possible aspect of a socialist system.

However, it is important to note that the implementation of socialism can involve significant changes to a country's political and economic systems, and it can have a wide range of consequences on the economy, individual rights and freedoms, and other aspects of society. Furthermore, there are many different forms of socialism and different ways to implement it, and the specific details of a proposed socialist system would need to be evaluated in order to determine whether or not it would be a reasonable price to pay for single-payer healthcare."

So weird. Its 5:00am in the morning and Pelosi has a drink in his hand.

the dude definitely breaks in. The 911 call is weird, like Pelosi is faking like he's not calling 911 but then later seems to acknowledge he is talking to the police and the man is asking him to hang up the phone.

Dude tried to murder him. In front of the cops. It was weird tho because Pelosi had the hammer with one hand, drink in the other and dude was trying to take the hammer away while the cops are standing there. Nobody really says help me or invites them in, they stand on the porch until the struggle is over and the wacko swings and hits pelosi. So weird.

Cops - well, they were a little slow on the uptake - they see two guys struggling over a hammer and I am not sure what they should have done, but obviously not what they did.

The real puzzler is what were they doing while waiting for the cops to show up? Were they struggling for all that time, and if so, why did Pelosi let go of hammer so easily and not take defensive stance.

And where did the hammer come from? Is Pelosi running a rail through the house and needed in case John Henry showed up?

==========

One example of a successful socialist system is the Nordic model, implemented in countries such as Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. These countries have a high standard of living and strong social safety nets, with universal healthcare and education, as well as generous parental leave and retirement benefits. They also have a relatively high level of economic equality and low poverty rates.

The success of a socialist system can be determined by various factors, such as economic growth and stability, levels of poverty and inequality, and overall quality of life for citizens. In the case of the Nordic model, its success can be seen in the strong and stable economies, high standard of living, and low poverty and inequality rates.

"One example of a country that has implemented socialist policies and has been considered successful is the Nordic countries, such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. These countries have implemented a form of socialism called "Nordic socialism" or "Scandinavian socialism" which combines a robust welfare state with a capitalist economy.

They have achieved high levels of income equality, a strong social safety net, and universal access to healthcare and education. They also have high levels of economic growth, low unemployment rates, and high standards of living.

These countries have been considered successful in terms of economic growth, standard of living, and social welfare, but it's important to note that different people may have different criteria for what constitutes a successful socialist system.

It's also important to note that these countries have undergone some changes in the recent years and their economy is not fully socialist but has a mix of private and public sector. They have a high tax rate and welfare state but also a dynamic private sector."

I'd venture that these days, cops are required to give people time to comply. So, they went through their procedures. They saw the hammer, they ordered him to drop it, at that point he said "nope", ripped it from Pelosi's hands and hit him with it.

Paul's a yuuuge alky if he can't even put down a drink to get a situation like that under control.

But how does that work? A guy breaking in wakes you up. You call the police. You end up in a struggle with him.

At what point do you make yourself a drink? Was it just sitting there from the evening on the nightstand? Why take it with you to call for police?

445 Early on in AI development it was understood that applications had to be very limited. AI could find patterns, or it could weigh options, but it could not "think".
That is why a lot of AI focused on things like chess, where they found algorithms where you are not really using AI was better.

This is not AI, it is artificial language. AL. It uses pattern parsing to find what is commonly said. It grabs a bunch of words from the source material and then puts it into grammatical form, but that is not emulating intelligence, it is emulating language using pieces of source material the same way google puts up search results based on the search term. Here the search term is the prompt, the source material is filtered and spit back out.

Any time they tell you what they plan, and what they're doing, and do it - it seems to get roundly ignored. He's said straight up that he wants to destroy the USA, his business shells operate in the open, and nobody seems to give a shit. Of course, if the media wasn't blindly following, things could be very different. But they and 80% of DC are in his pocket.

Yes, no one claimed it was smart.

I don't mind dumb replies because it's very early days of the tech, but I do mind the leftard shit because leftardism is the weak link they are building into these systems and we can't stop them.

When these computers are deciding who the good humans and bad humans are it will be based on every globalist leftard trope imaginable.

457 445 Early on in AI development it was understood that applications had to be very limited.

459 > Damn near singlehandedly tanked the British pound too.

This talking point is completely false. The Brits were manipulating the hell out of the pound. Soros saw that and made a huge bet that reality would win. Reality won and Soros made out like a bandit. Then the Brits who were manipulating the pound blamed Soros.

460 Involving lethal weapons? At a distance of maybe eight feet?

Hammer's a lot easier to evade than a knife, which is the setup for the 24? foot rule. Also, at 5 AM, the WTF factor's gonna be high even for SF cops. I've seen plenty of videos even with knives where the perp doesn't get mag dumped (there's a good one where an ace cop shoots the hand he's holding the knife with though).

Pages left intentionally blank are simple to explain by people in the printing business or who have legal requirements for complete prints. It's to make sure the front side stays front, the page numbers stay consistent, and no questions arise about bad prints.

ChatGPT is retarded. It gave me a lengthy reply that never once hit on the right answer. It's too lengthy, so I'll summarize.

1.) As a divider - possible but not usual.

2.) As a form of self-expression - never.

3.) As a way to save paper - never, and also clearly impossible.

4.) For legal reasons, to indicate that certain sections are not applicable or to leave space for additional information to be added later - never.

5.) As a way to challenge societal expectations or norms - never.

This isn't entirely true. There was a researcher who asked ChatGPT to write several academic papers in a subject the researcher was very familiar with. ChatGPT came up with very interesting, largely correct information, but ALSO made up some sources. Everything looked fine, but some of the sources didn't exist.
