I saw a piece somewhere that said 30%.

But, the only way it would be workable is if the 16th amendment (allowing income taxes) was repealed *first*.

If they just suspend income taxes legislatively or somesuch, then they could always be brought back and added to the sales tax. Anyone who wants to do it any other way then with a repeal of the 16th is just looking for a way to have both taxes.

283 Evening, all. Catching up. Made it to Richmond, staying with my middle child and heading to Williamsburg to visit my mom tomorrow, which is when my brother and sister arrive. Going to be happy and not cry, or at least do my best. Got hospice set up but darn, this is just too fast.

It is so so good to be with my kiddo though, she is amazing. We are doing dinner with my eldest Monday. It’s a sad trip with happy sprinkled in.

313 Ace, don't beat yourself up over the skull video. If it's reversed, it's very sophisticated at a subliminal level. If you step through the frames as displayed, you clearly see the hand drop the string into the liquid. Now assuming it's been reversed (a good assumption), then the skull melts to nothing and then THE STRING JUMPS INTO THE HAND. That is not a trivial visual effect, and took considerable effort to pull off. Did the string get filmed dropping into the liquid, and then that scene get spliced seamlessly into the reverse video? Seems a lot of work for a throw-away video, if indeed it was a cheap quickie reverse stunt.
