Thots Now Stalking Men in Gym to Shame Them; Plus, GAINZZZ
So wannabe e-thots attempted a new way to claim victimization and get attention online.
(Thot is a slang acronym for "that ho over there." It's not pronounced thawt as the word "thought" is, but "thoht," like hot but started with a th sound.) They go to the gym wearing, as many point out, what are essentially bathing suits, and then complain that men occasionally glance in their direction. Can you believe men are chancing glances at these modestly-attired women? Or even worse: When men both glance in their direction and then Mansplain how to properly load plates on a barbell when the e-thot is plainly struggling with the process. It's so feral! Feral feral feral! This girl...is wearing underwear, basically, a bra and panties, as gym attire. And she's scandalized that a guy is looking at a girl in underwear. She's now apologized, but she says what she did is understandable because she's so triggered by the sexual harassment and assault she's experienced. I don't want to pile on her too much, but I kind of don't think she's as offended at the idea of men looking at her in a sexual way as she lets on.
If a woman goes out on the town wearing a bra as a top, she should understand that she might attract the Male Gaze. Where have you gone, Sue Ellen Mishkie?
By the way, attempting to Gym Shame someone for hits isn't just something for thots. This guy attempts to shame someone for walking backwards on a treadmill. Apparently he's never heard of walking backwards to hit different muscles or spare the joints. But he's the gym expert, huh? Even worse, now some male thots are getting into the game and attempting to shame women for checking them out.

I recommend this to everyone whatever their health level is at. Seriously, its a great idea. Drink more water and consume less sugar. Look at ingredients, sugar is high up on way too many items that don't need it and it makes no sense to add. Look at recipes you make, skip the sugar and you'll find it is even better in many cases.

You can drop a pound or two a week just by dumping sugar, its amazing how effective it is. Your body is storing the extra energy you give it; its doing its job. Stop giving it extra energy and you'll be much better off.

I think most guys do. If they see a guy struggling, they help them out. I had a room mate who was this absolute specimen, he had a buddy in the dorm who was the same. I'd go to the gym sometimes with them and they were always super supportive and helpful. I wasn't fat, quite the opposite, I was a beanpole. But they were always there to help out if I needed it and gave plenty of encouragement.
Dudes who are working out, its almost like a religion, they want to spread the news and get others to as well.

I have a membership at the Planet Fitness near my office, because it's nice to go in after work and hit the treadmill for an hour while waiting for the traffic on 95 to get reasonable. Plus, the place is full of twenty-something women so it's easy on the eyes.

I've lived in this little town for over five years, and just discovered that there is a gym. I got a membership yesterday. Town of around 7k, and this gym just keeps going, room after room of different kinds of equipment. It's bigger than the planet fitness I used to go to in the city, and costs less than we spend on liquor in a single week.
Looking forward to getting stronger and maybe looking grandma-hot in some spandex leggings.

Also, there's been push back against men and women for getting angry at people walking through their camera shot. Carrying a tripod around the gym and filming yourself has become such a thing, mostly among zoomers, there now has to be push back against the idea that a gym is a public space. I literally had a kid in the locker room the other day with a tripod taking selfies with the locker room as a backdrop. Crazy entitled people. Epidemic among gen z.

People naturally glance over at other people as they come in their spaces, catch movement, etc. so what may be checking out is just an auto reaction. There are guys who can be obnoxious, but by and large, they aren’t, in my experience. It is very funny to me when the occasional weirdo sees me from behind when I am in leggings at the store, which is often as that is what I wear 99% of the time for obvious reasons, only to get very disappointed to learn I am….29 when they see my face. I don’t runaround in the wild in a sports bra, either because yuck.

well just don't have sugar. it's pretty easy to cut out. If you need sweetener, there are natural non-caloric ones like Stevia and Erythritol.
It's much harder to cut out grains/flours. But sugar is pretty easy.
Fruit and fruit juice is all but off the menu, though. Except maybe an ounce of berries or something. That still has sugar but not a huge amount.

I've been trying out Berg's various recommendations for Kidney stones. 1 cup of lemon juice to 10 cups of water (works out to about a shot of lemon juice per the water container I use. Tastes like a fairly potent lemonade without sweetener and livens up all the water I try to drink.

It is why scratch cooking tends to be the way to go for avoiding "anything" - sugar, fat, salt, chemicals, etc.
As for me, my carrot cake from earlier - well, my DD and I were both too lazy to make frosting, so we took that produce filled cake and just drizzled raw honey on each slice - dang, it was good! Kids and spouse demolished their pieces (even after a pasta dinner, so I know immense hunger was not the reason)...

I cannot tolerate added sugar, and have to even be careful how much bread I eat. Its pretty easy once you get used to being extra careful about reading labels, but it takes some time to get used to actively dodging sugar. Eating out is especially hard, because some places put sugar on things like fries so they cook up with a nice coating and color. There's sugar in potato salad and slaw, salad dressing, coatings of stuff like onion rings, hell people put sugar in almost everything. Most pizza marinara in lesser quality places has sugar in it.
Some kinds of food are best to be avoided: Barbecue, for instance. Almost all Chinese food has sugar.

Yeah, that is the hardest part. I love fruit and it does not love me back. Flavored yogurt is full of sugar. Even some vegetables have a lot of sugar, like beets. Carrots have sugar, so you have to be careful with them, too.
Whatever the hell is wrong with me (Docs can't figure it out) any sort of sweetener messes me up - stevia, sucralose, all of it. So I drink seltzer water or just straight water. Which is on topic because, be very careful with supposedly healthy vitamin drinks, most of them have sugar, too. Ensure? Full of sugar.

I am very strict with what I eat 80% of the time. Like I make my family a little nuts, I am sure. But 20% of the time, I eat whatever the heck I want. I never feel deprived, and I rarely obsess over food which is something I used to do when I was on the porky side. A lot on the porky side. Also, that 80% of the time that I am strict with turns out to be a lot of food, it’s not starvation in the least. Like a ton of food, it’s making the right food choices. I don’t do low carb, I don’t fast, I eat a lot of healthy foods.

I was thinking something with the pancreas, but I gotta think docs ruled out those types of issues. The pancreas is one organ that can malfunction with either real or artificial sweetners - same for a stomach microbial imbalance...

ok Daisy you sound like me! this sugar detox has been utterly shocking. btw I lost 12 pounds in January. I was never hungry not ever! no cravings after the first week.
no I never had a big sweet tooth either but when I started this and started looking at ingredients OMG - added sugars EVERYWHERE
it's nuts! I was eating tons and tons of sugar and not even realizing it.
anyway now things like my coffee with milk - taste sweet. nuts taste sweet. I think I just taste everything so much more! I feel great and am sleeping amazing and just it's been awesome for me. probably some people handle sugar better but I clearly was not

They have never gotten into our crawl space to fix any leaky pipes. They always call me to kill spiders. The one that takes the cake though, they called me at work to drive 50 miles to come change a flat tire.
My daughter has since graduated from college and I made sure she majored in an actual career. Both of them make more than I do BTW.
