Leftwing Clowns Are Troubled When They Hear That a Politician, Not a Leftwing Democrat, May Have Lied Some About His History

Recently elected incoming Republican Congressmen George Santos has been caught lying about his background.

A New York Republican who won a U.S. House seat in November is under pressure to explain himself amid evidence he fabricated parts of his life story.

During his campaign, George Santos, 34, boasted impressive academic and professional credentials and portrayed himself as an embodiment of the American dream. After growing up in a working-class, immigrant family in Queens and getting a high school equivalency diploma, he said he had a lightning-fast rise in the world of finance, culminating in his participation in "landmark deals on Wall Street."

Yet a college where Santos said he earned a finance degree was unable to find records showing he attended. Several companies where Santos said he worked had no record of him having been an employee.

And the media is super-interested. Wow, can't wait until they hear about Ilhan Omar's first marriage!!!

Oh right, there are only some lies worth investigating.

Regime Propagandist and Adult Downs Baby Sam Stein asks:

Sam Stein
@samstein

Is there any precedent at all to this George Santos situation? Has Congress ever had someone with so many remarkable biographical holes?

Tom Elliott breaks the news to him, gentle-like:

++++
Scores of them. Congress is a den of thieves and liars. So this guy lied about his accomplishments. Okay. He - like all politicians - probably lied about everything else, too.

We're a post-truth civilization now. I have a hard time getting worked up about who lied about what. They're all a bunch of miserable, prevaricating, mealy-mouthed bastards. Which brand is fairly irrelevant. There is no truth, no honesty, no justice, no standards of value. Washington, DC and the wider system is a yawning black hole, sucking every virtue into its maw and compressing it down to the planck length, destroying its form and its energy. Once that black hole swallows the rest of the country, it will collapse under its own weight and allow the human remnants it leaves behind an opportunity to try to rebuild.

Arguing about which particular bastard did which particular thing or told which particular lie is not a fruitful exercise but in the grand scheme of the black hole of America's rulers, this pretty small potatoes.

39 Today’s winner of the Balls of Steel award goes to Nikita Yuferev, a lawmaker from St. Petersburg, Russia.

It is illegal to refer to the Ukraine war as a “war” in Russia – you have to refer to it as a “special military operation”. People have and are being prosecuted in Russia for calling the war a “war”.

Well, Putin in a recent speech referred to the war in Ukraine as a “war”, so Yuferev filed a criminal complaint against Putin with Russia's prosecutor-general and interior minister, and posted the complaint to social media.

96 Listen. One thing you have to get through your heads is Democracy isn't the enemy. I'm not the enemy. When I grew up in a little town you might have heard of called New York City, in the heart of the ghetto, it wasn't easy. It was never easy for a boy like me to get by. My mom worked her fingers to the bone as a Policewoman. Her and her partner Cagney didn't always have it all, but what they had was friendship.

Friendship. Christmas. A time for friends. A time of laughter. A time to live. A time to die. And a time to kill, when some little rat named Jeffrey thinks he can come up behind you and stab you by surprise. Well I showed Jeffrey, boy. I showed the whole neighborhood who was boss. I was the toughest sonofabitch there was and if I learned anything for nineteen years in prison, it's that you don't fuck with me. You. Don't. Fuck. With a Biden.

My mom was a stay at home housewife, she said that that was a full time job. And she took care of us. She could make a sandwich with the best of 'em. I'd get home and I'd say "Mom, make me a sandwich". She knew who was boss, and she didn't question it any more than the dudes in Cell Block A. No one fucked with me. I was the best.

Years ago my regular UPS driver finally asked me about the long heavy boxes he was delivering every few months. I insisted he come into the garage and witness as I opened up yet another Mosin-Nagan rifle. When I explained the dirt-cheap cost, and the similar cost of the milsurp ammo, he started buying them, too. I'm one of them. The number of charities to which I would donate had been shrinking for many years until it reached just one organization: the Salvation Army. I would still give to them, and gave generously. I might have cut the number of organizations I supported, but not the amount. I now have zero, and the amount I contribute is zero.

Any outfit with a social justice division gets nothing from me. Not so much as one thin dime. Any outfit with top-heavy management gets nothing from me. Organizations with both are the worst of the bunch.

179 The Salvation Army thing was especially nauseating. I had the occasion to deal with them in their international humanitarian work, and they were superstars. Meaning I'd be pushing them to *add* to their budget for a given project - their overhead was extremely low (volunteers, and true giving servant mindset in the organization). They'd take on some of the hardest jobs in the most heart-wrenching situations (orphanages suddenly cut off from government support in former Soviet republics, for example).

And then, joining the stupid racist mob as it marched through the institutions. Sickening.

I saw them at work in this country in disaster areas. They did great work and got the job done while other outfits like the United Way and the Red Cross put up the loudest signs and did what appeared to be minimal actual work.

Most of the organization is probably still that way, but they have a "social justice commission" that wants to destroy not only me personally, but everything I believe in. The rank-and-file might still be fine and I suspect they probably are, but the fish rots from the head and I will give them nothing anymore. I fully understand that if enough people are like me then a once-great organization will perish. So be it. Such are the wages of leftist infiltration.

And on the actual topic, I know I've said it many times before, but Biden is one of the dumbest, most repugnant (in every respect) public figures in the country, has been for decades. He was an object of ridicule from the moment he hit DC (I witnessed a stellar example while a young nobody staffer at a snobbish DC institution in the early 80s).

There's a reason he never got past IA in the primaries.

And this absolutely ridiculous, stupid, foul (and during his VP stint the most corrupt senior official since the 19th century) being elected - over the most effective and successful (where that means something, policy results) president in generations ..... will never view the country the same again. Of course there were already some serious hits in that area - Obama being nominated, elected, and re-elected was almost as stunning.

There are two diners nearby that will feed anyone that walks in, paying customers or not. I slide them extra whenever I can. Same for a mechanic - sometimes, he'll quote a repair for a customer's beater that couldn't possibly cover the true cost. He gets extra cash from us too. I know those $$ get to where they do good.

274 I am SHOCKED that the FNM did not investigate Santos before Nov. Usually they ignore Rs in the primaries, or perhaps inflate some minor infraction that every Pol does to hurt the stronger candidate, but then air every bit of dirt on the R before the general election. They must have thought they didn't have to worry about Santos winning plus the young journalists are lazy.

My other recipe is potato lefse and I still don't have that one working

320 385 383 Based on Ace's post last night stating he's done with the GOP, either this blog goes defunct or a whole new base of action-minded readers is required. I for one am looking forward to seeing the current crop of Instapanzy keyboard warriors and purpled-pilled GOPer handwringers forced out. Alas, I'm betting the "I'm done with the GOP" is a hollow threat and the smart military COBs with their milquetoast ELCA potluck politics and sensibilities remain king. It's becoming conceivable that Instapanzy, AOS, Althouse etc... are shadow-funded operations to not only keep tabs on conservatives but more importantly offer a cathartic outlet that provides a sports-like fan following for conservatives to blow off steam and reduce the possibility of mass uprising. If you keyboard warrior COBs took just 10% of the time you waste cruising the "conservative" political internet venting and bloviating in your echo chamber clubs and instead walked out to the street with a sign and protested we'd be living in an entirely different America.

321 378 Ha! I've been here since 2006 under a variety of different names. I've been banned and praised. No one knows me and I know no one. You see, I'm different than the vast majority of you. I'm real. I don't think interacting via an online blog is social interaction. It's fake. People who think they have friends and compatriots online are deluded and live in a fake world. GOPer are failures because they won't interact with the world - they hire proxies and contrive fake worlds to live in because they're at heart frightened people. The only reason a person should interact online is to drive action and change. Civil discourse is impossible. Civil discourse can only happen in reality where the threat of a punch to the face exists. Online discourse can only be used for shaming to drive change. Conservatives are a very frightened people. Frighten people are susceptible to shame. I troll to drive change.
