It's Almost Christmas Cafe

praguechristmas.jfif
Christmas market in Prague
Video here

Like some martial arts stuff.

The eerie, disturbing call of the lynx. Make them stop.

I'm sorry, but Marvel's CGI is just getting lazier and lazier.

Cute past-time.

Now that hits some muscles you usually don't work out.

Spectators gather for David French's annual yuletime pagan Festival of Wife-Sharing.

More thicc soccer triccs.

Not all heroes wear capes.

I've posted this hide-and-seek-with-a-dog clip before, but it's so cute.

Bad boys.

Can you translate these Christmas song titles just by looking at them?

"Venid, fieles todos" or the Latin title: Adeste Fideles.

And this easy one: "Noche de Paz"

This is the main reason I don't have a tree. The other is that I really don't have room. All of my walls/corners are occupied.

I do take my ornaments and decorate the small tree we have at work, though.

When we had Patch the demon cat he would walk up to the Christmas tree and knock an ornament off just to watch it break on the floor and then run away. We replaced all ornaments with plastic break proof stuff and he was not amused when nothing broke.

When Eevee was smaller, and we had a bigger tree, he used to hang out on the branches. Didn't mess with the ornaments really, so we let him keep doing it. Son had a digital picture of Eevee in the tree, but at some point he permanently altered the master copy and ended up deleting it.

110 The 'lectric socks that use a single "D" cell battery, work quite well. I've worn 'em in many deer-blinds over the years.

This is where rechargeable batteries & a good charger shine. Just keep a rotation of the cells in your pockets, and each is good for about two hours of real heat.

And yes. WOOL socks, if you please! Cotton kills.

I applaud him for listening to his voters, though.

Also, the NY Post said that one arrest was made but it was unclear which side they were protesting for. I guarantee he was antifa. If he was a patriot, we would have heard about it by now and it would likely be a national story.

220 When Amtrak gets cold weather trouble, it's really bad. They have to get truck crews with welding rigs out in front of the train to thaw the switches, and the train sits until that happens. I know, the 40's movies of the high passes with the rotary plows look really romantic -- but they don't have real dining car kitchens anymore, and the toilets are like the ones on airplanes.

Even my bro that is too much California after living there for a couple decades came out to see dad last month, even timed it to make dads b-day when I told him dad's health was deteriorating, and his wife stayed home which was icing on the cake. She adores my brother and he loves her but her personality is not simpatico with mine.

I note some of these hats are from RUSSIA!, so, I wonder how their imports are going.

The guy had apparently bullied someone when he was 14. Does that suck? Yeah. And it also seems like probably a background history/record for 50%+ of pro athletes.

Ain't seen mine since 1986, but did recently get 90 days added to his most recent prison sentence. Bumped his Aggravated Assault conviction with Electronic Harassment conviction. He'd assaulted some poor old man up in MN, and tried to extort me for a six-figure sum out of the estate... from which he had been thoroughly dis-inherited.

Damn close to half of his life has been prison or jail. We don't exchange cards.

367 Worked for a woman in OR that had a house built by a Finn. It had a wood furnace that could take a six foot log. The house had registers in the floor. She could load up the furnace, damp it down and it would heat the house for three days without needing attention. It was impressive.
