Another alarm clock, this one telling you that the cat is hungry.

Freezing a bubble.

Peanut-butter lovin' pooch.

This dog wants his owner to get some GAINZZZ.

Snub-nose golden monkeys hugging. I'm linking this because of their back fur. It's very colorful.

Otter skiing.

Baby goats climbing down a sheer wall.

Archimedes said, Give me a long enough poodle, and I can move the world.

Parasite.

Dogs just want to halp.

29 Down the hill from our little post in Sinop was an ancient church. Typical of Turkey, it was mostly ignored but we were allowed to go there and pick around. There were still paintings on the walls that were remarkably viewable, albeit faded. The site dated back to the 700's.
Further down the hill were the Roman ruins.
Interesting place Sinop.

I am gonna call bull$hit on the 10,00 year thing. The Chinese didn't have an actual written language until about 2,500 BC. Granted there are some bone things that may be called a written language from about 5,000 BC but they are scarce and not really a written language. And how the fvck did texts in sanskrit wind up in a Tibetan hidden library 5,000 years before the language was invented?

123 Dentist has long included a political/international issue interrogation as part of my visits (he's a dangerous right-wing fanatic, i.e. fairly normal). This time he wanted to be briefed on the FBI. I gave him the super-condensed executive summary on the Keystone Coup, from 2016 onwards, and threw in some FISA spice. He agreed furiously that virtually none of this is known to the public, and that there are now really two kinds of "citizens" - those with at least some understanding and factual basis, and the vast majority floating in the tide of disinfo and concealed truths.

He lamented the pathetic mid-term results, and for the first time said 2 things: the GOP is mostly worthless, and he doesn't really expect things to be substantially corrected in his life-time, the country we all knew most of our lives is just gone, in several key respects.

174 Notorious, do some research, but I think the cancer for which colonoscopies are a screening test are highly correlated with family medical history, i.e. genetics.

There's also, I believe, another of those fundamental re-evaluations of the value of colonoscopy screening going on. That is the stats might not point to the sort of leverage believed to exist when these tests became SOP at a certain age.

Because medical science, while often inexcusably slow and inertia-bound, is never settled, unlike some branches of science, such as outlandish hypotheses about the dimly understood system-of-systems (themselves dimly understood) that make up planetary weather, called "climate science".

A colonoscopy is kind of like when the doctor used to shove his finger up your butt to check your prostate years ago. They have a blood test for that now just like they do for colon cancer. Unless you have family history or some other issues you may want to talk to your doctor to see if a colonoscopy is right for you.

289 Getting back into gaming has so far been interesting as you discover a lot you didn't know and go down rabbit holes.

One of my favorite games was Defender of The Crown on The Amiga, when Cinemaware went bankrupt the two principles purchased the naming rights and set up a company and produced a sequel called, Robin Hood: Defender of The Crown for the PlayStation 2.

It's alright but just that.

Proving that while gaming systems get more powerful and graphically capable, there is magic in those older games that simply cannot be duplicated.

317 When I was a freshman in high school I did a research paper on fusion. The potential was amazing, the reality was far less amazing. To put it simply (keep in mind I was a high school freshman) containing the heat was a huge problem. The energy produced was enormous. Like, orders of magnitude enormous. But there was no way to practically contain it. I actually got a pretty good grade for my paper for pointing that out.

Not bad for a left-handed artist and metalhead.
