The Joyce McKinney thing might be legit story
https://allthatsinteresting.com/joyce-mckinney Kirk Anderson and Joyce McKinney had definitely been involved romantically while living in Utah, although whether he’d actually intended to marry her is another question. Nevertheless, there can be little argument that McKinney’s love for Anderson, no matter how pure in origin, was obsessive. In addition to asserting her love for Anderson, McKinney also stated that she believed that it was impossible for a woman to rape a man, stating that “it’s like trying to put a marshmallow into a parking meter.” Posted by: Kindltot at December 09, 2022 10:39 PM (xhaym) 129

"An unmarried loner, he usually didn't leave the machine shop at lunchtime with his co-workers. Finding himself alone, he had begun the regular practice of masturbating by holding his penis against the canvas drive-belt of a large floor-based piece of running machinery. One day, as he approached orgasm, he lost his concentration and leaned too close to the belt. When his scrotum suddenly became caught between the pulley-wheel and the drive-belt, he was thrown into the air and landed a few feet away. Unaware that he had lost his left testis, and perhaps too stunned to feel much pain, he stapled the wound closed and resumed work.
I can only assume he abandoned this method of self-gratification." Posted by: SMH at December 09, 2022 10:56 PM (Wo4FI) 171

Unaware that he had lost his left testis, and perhaps too stunned to feel much pain, he stapled the wound closed and resumed work."

Well I just had a weird sort of christmas miracle from the "mom strikes from the grave again" files. I have been in the basement trying to reorganize things so I can empty out the family room. Mrs B has been decorating the rest of the house, and this weekend is the big push for the family room since the renovations are over. Some years ago my father had made 2 wooden reindeer, 2D style, front view. My mother made the ears from felt and fabric and glued 2 flat-ish plastic eyes to them. They are cool, almost cartoonish. Years ago one of the eyes vanished, so we stopped putting them out. This year Mrs b put the good one on one side of the fireplace. I'm downstairs tonight trying to clean the room where the wood shop will be, I look on the floor, the same floor where I have been using the table saw for the last frigging year of the renovations, the same frigging floor I had vacuumed a billion times and there it was staring at me from the floor. The missing eye from the reindeer. I haven't been able to find jack shit for the last 18 months since the move, and an eye from a wooden reindeer thats been missing for years turns up. Mom wanted those things displayed.

Posted by: SMH I started a story, inspired by all the genuinely good writers that visit here, (not to mention all the wits), that is dark. It's the story of a man who has no more fucks left... no one to worry about. A dangerous man, now. It took me to places that I didn't enjoy. I did enjoy it for awhile, but soon, I couldn't tell whether the protagonist was the devil or the Archangel. I'm not sure there's lot of difference in war. Re: Griner
Her past comments are wholly damning. That person does not deserve such a prisoner swap. That is history, we are here now. Open your ear to her now. She may not be the same person. I can easily imagine her recent experiences could change her opinions. She might come back a patriot. I will not pass judgement until she shows herself anew. She learned nothing but how much privilege she has, it just took a little time. Posted by: Skip at December 10, 2022 02:38 AM (xhxe8) 361
My dog thinks the vacuum is evil and the only thing in the house subject to attack. He even growls at the closet door.
Posted by: Diogenes at December 09, 2022 10:25 PM My dog would lay there, oblivious, while I had to vacuum around her. It was kind of funny but annoying, like, MOVE already. Posted by: JuJuBee, fact checker hammered by events at December 10, 2022 02:54 AM (2vHvP) 362
Our cats were deathly afraid of the vacuum, yet long ago as a kid our German Shepherd Brutus loved to be vacuumed

Wisdom from me tonight:
1.) Don't put potatoes up your ass 2.) Don't put your dick in a hot cantaloupe 3.) DON'T EVER GET A CONNECTING FLIGHT THROUGH CHARLOTTE DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT This airport is should be called Charlotte Hellport. Delayed flights always suck. Delayed flights here are a Kafkaesque journey of sorrow. I just want to see my family Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at December 10, 2022 02:04 OK, I just may want skip this ONT. I don't get the potato thing and I never did like cantaloupe. Tho using it that way might be better than eating it. From last night's ONT:
11. Vemödalen: The frustration of photographic something amazing when thousands of identical photos already exist. We visited the amazing Antelope Canyon this summer as a side trip to one of the kiddos graduations. Amazing Antelope Canyon was amazing as was practically every photo I took, and yet - I had the nagging awareness that every single photo I took had probably been taken the exact same way hundreds (if not thousands of times before). Ah, well. I just have to be happy with having the beautiful and adventurous Mrs naturalfake in several of my photos and that makes them unique.
