Gisele Fetterneck -- "Madame Newark" -- is very clear that she'll be the illegal defacto Senator, posting pictures in which she is centered, and her chump-bait husband is either at the extreme edge of the picture or with his Frankendome cropped out like he's the next victim of The Omen.

giselemadamenewark.jpg

Ryan Reynolds did it better.

Very stable genius Steve Schmidt is threatening everyone on Twitter again, including the Daily Caller. He goes through these paroxysms periodically, threatening to sue people who say things which are true but which he doesn't want you to say, without being clear about which statements he's claiming are defamatory and in what way exactly they're untrue.

Which reminds me of another litigious leftwing grifter. I'm glad the Daily Caller is telling him to f*ck right off.

Hey Steve, we saw the Showtime show. You're scum. You're filth.

Go find a wormy hole to crawl into, you soulless, sexless big-bellied soft-handed pit of insecurity and greed abandoned-by-God.

Conservative Brief reports that Kari Lake does not intend to concede the race in Arizona.

Floyd Brown
@floydbrown

Spent hours last night working with Lake team on a continuing war for Arizona. She will not go quietly into the night. She intends to stand and fight. She knew when she entered this race that it would be tough. Her opponents lack her courage. She is fighting for us.

The race may go to a recount, though a 0.8% gap is a lot to make up, and, practically speaking, if you suspect they rigged the main count, they're not going to give it away on the recount.

Ah, Megan. You inherited your mother's money and entitlement and your father's temperament and brains. Plus the svelte daintiness of the Arizona Cardinals' offensive line.

Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden wore Communist-era Mao jackets to honor Chairman Xi. We know love Trudeau loves playing cross-racial dress-up -- it was all he could do to resist wearing yellowface and putting on a Fu Machu mustache and beard.

We can only assume "Doctor" Jill Biden dressed Joe.

Two WWII era planes collided in an air show over Dallas on Friday.

A B-17 bomber appeared to stray into the blindspot of a P-63 Kingcorbra as the historic World War II-era planes collided in midair outside of Dallas on Saturday.

Six people are feared dead at the Wings Over Dallas event when the P-63, seemingly unable to spot the B-17 below it, crashed into the large bomber, sending debris flying and igniting a fire nearby.

Jason Evans, a Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman, told the Dallas Morning News that the crash occurred at around 1.30pm above the Dallas Executive Airport.

Video posted online shows a P-63 Kingcobra approaching the flight path of a Boeing B17 Flying Fortress bomber. The bomber appears to fly by the P-63's blindspot and the planes collide, ripping each other to shreds.

A second video from a different angle shows how the B-17 approach the blindspot as the Kingcobra was banking right, so it would not have been able to prepare for the impending crash.

The front of the B-17 split off from its rears as its wings caught on fire and it spiraled to the ground nearby.

Six airmen are sadly confirmed dead.

More leftwing San Francisco freaks beg Elon Musk to fire them:

It goes no where unless the candidate brings suit though.

There is precedent for a new election being ordered, it happened in Miami and a congressional seat in North Carolina. But it is a low probability, since judges right now do not want to take the heat, and they are probably in on the steal.

However, I highly encourage Kari to proceed. Even if it goes no where, it continues to ramp up public awareness that they election system is rigged. As I said this morning, DeSantis was able to get rid of Brenda Snipes and make it stick because people were tired of her shit.

Many UKR missiles were built in the times of the USSR and thus could be thought of as Russian for propaganda, as has been done before by the press.

The Russians are saying it isn't theirs, but in theory it could have been a wayward one of theirs. So in a sensible time this would blow over no matter what.

But redder than it was before the election, both chambers.

Which is why you have so much skepticism about this election. Arizona flipped 2 congressional seats and increased the GOP in the legislature, and kicked a bunch of McCain types out of the legislature. But then they turned around and voted for Hobbs instead of Lake.

That can't happen without ticket splitting. If there was a core of people who were going to ticket split it would have shown up in polling and the exit polls. But it didn't.

The only way the math works is if a bunch of Republicans in Gilbert and Mesa dropped off mail in ballots on election day that voted straight ticket GOP, but Hobbs and Kelly. But on election day the voters from Gilbert and Mesa didn't do that.

To me this looks like a steal done by the McCain wing. It has Cindy McCain's finger prints all over it. Remember that meeting in 2020 between Biden and Cindy McCain in Phoenix that was unannounced? They want to take out Lake before she can become a star for the GOP like DeSantis.

Posted by: Romeo13 at November 15, 2022 06:54 PM

Not necessarily. None of these rules really apply because this was a formation flight and the concept of "right of way" doesn't apply, but generally among the same categories of aircraft, it's about who can be expected to see the other. It's things like "if you're descending an airplane below you has right of way" and "if you're overtaking an airplane, the airplane in front of you has right of way."

And it doesn't phrase it as "you don't have right of way" it says something like "(you) shall alter course to the right to pass well clear."

In formation flying, you're supposed to work all this out on the ground in advance.

The past two years, it's been a one-vote R advantage in both the State House (31-29) and State (16-14) -- and that appears to remain unchanged after this election.

Which sucks, because every R legislator has veto power (i.e. they're all effectively Governors) over any bill -- and there were several good ones that didn't pass in the past session owing to one squish hold-out in either house ...

167 My take on the mid-air collision of two vintage warplanes at Dallas:

The loss of six people in this accident is very sad. May they rest in peace. They were doing what they enjoyed.

I find it very regrettable that the aircrew, passengers, and two irreplaceable vintage warplanes were lost in an airshow exhibition that is SOP for the Commemorative Air Force. Mid-air collisions at air shows are as old as air shows. Both the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds demo teams have had mid-air collisions (though the Thunderbirds one was 50 years ago).

Why risk lives and irreplaceable historic aircraft by operating a number of them in a relatively small airspace, at low level, with some of the planes doing simulated attacks on others?

Fortunately no one on the ground was injured. This time.

YMMV

184 Whomever wrote that cr@p saying the B-17 'strayed' needs their eyes checked and brain bucket firmly removed from their posterior with excessive force.

The B-17 was flying its planned circuit while being followed by a Liberator bomber. The fighter aircraft of P-51s and P-63 were in a separate circuit.

What is glaringly obvious is the P-63 which was following several P-51 Mustangs took a wider turn than they did perhaps because it had too much speed, this turn caused the P-63 to bank left which put the B-17 below the P-63 and thus was invisible to the P-63 pilot.

What still needs to be resolved is the altitudes of the involved aircraft. How much vertical separation was there between the two circuits.

Could have been trying for a late intercept for a Russian missile in the westward direction, but the North part is a bit odd since Russia said they had no targets in that direction.

Could be a bad target solution error, or a failure of an engine, or an op to generate press to scupper the diplomatic channels.

243 184 Whomever wrote that cr@p saying the B-17 'strayed' needs their eyes checked and brain bucket firmly removed from their posterior with excessive force.

Posted by: Anna Puma at November 15, 2022 07:08 PM (luw22)

In other words, a preventable accident IF greater vertical and horizontal separation was SOP. And if pilots always followed SOP. Call me cold-blooded, but I think the preventable loss of irreplaceable vintage planes is very tragic, almost as tragic as the loss of lives this time.

Objective is to send an un-manned Orion spacecraft on a 20+ day mission to orbit the Moon, to test its systems before a manned lunar orbiting mission in 1 to 2 years. I did not go to Florida to see the launch this time, so probably no hydrogen leaks tonight and it does launche. Weather looks good for tonight.

That is a P-39D Airacobra. Pre-war national markings. Wing guns and short barrel 37mm nose cannon point to a first production run P-39D.

The P-39C lacked wing guns, all four machine guns were nose mounted with the cannon.

The P-39D-1, P-39D-2, P-39F, and Airacobra Mk I were all equipped with a 20mm Hispano cannon with a longer barrel.

No serial number on tail is not a big thing, Bell apparently did not paint them on the early planes. And if you look at P-39Ds of the 31st Pursuit Group during the Carolina Maneuvers what you will see painted on the tail in black letters "31P 20"

Cheating is not new, even if some of the methods are. Everyone knows you have to beat the margin of cheating that goes on in urban areas. The only thing that appears to be new is the Republican acquiescence to the notion that every election will be close and that Republican candidates can necessarily never get out of the high 40s, something we ridiculed Mitt Romney for claiming.

The Horde can be a hilarious bunch. It spends every day excoriating GOP pols as so undesirable that they couldn't get laid in a whorehouse with a briefcase full of money, and also lamenting that the only reason the GOP doesn't have majorities is because of fraud. We don't even like our pols. Maybe we ought to consider getting some better ones.

I just see him as a spineless candidate now, someone who won't ever fight back when the machine gets rolling. Maybe I'll see it differently in a month or so, but there it is. Who knows? If he doesn't fight cheating, then why would anyone vote for him again just to watch him give up MORE times?

It's almost worse than trying to primary McCain and failing every damn time because the machine says, NO. Had to wait for him to die, clinging to the seat, just to get new representation and have it thrown away on McSally when Sinema got cheated in. (Geeze, we really are McScrewed, huh?)

At what point do you fight back? Which cheat do you fight? Your third? Fourth? Just keep running into the wall to do again every two years, no complaining? What's the limit?

Precisely. I am done as a Republican by default. I will now only vote for one if he shows me something. E.g. here in NC, I'll vote for Budd next time. But if he runs again, I'll vote AGAINST Tillis, even if I have to vote for Omar of Hillary.

GOPe is dead to me.

However, the friend I just talked to did argue that McCarthy is not quite so bad as the other two McFailures. Well, maybe. He did cite Friedman's Law, and is definitely hard core.

Might be most of those are museum pieces and not flyable

Wikipedia says:

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is an American four-engine heavy bomber used by the United States Army Air Forces and other Allied air forces during World War II. Today, 45 planes survive in complete form, including 38 in the United States. Nine are airworthy. Of the 12,731 B-17s built, about 4,735 were lost during the war.

So perhaps both numbers are accurate.

Wasn't there some court case a few years ago out of, like, North Carolina where a political consultant admitted to just that: he'd helped with fraud for both sides.

My longstanding theory is that the GOP refuses to engage on the fraud issue because any investigation would reveal how much of a disaster local election offices are, and how much corruption and incompetence is permitted to thrive at that level. It's not so much "Dominion was changing all the votes!" as, "why did you feel it was necessary to buy all new voting equipment and chose Dominion over cheaper, more reliable companies?" as well as, "Hey, where did that money, that was earmarked to train your people to use your systems, go?"

We don't know the extent of the cheat. Just before the election the WH stated that 800K mail-ins were requested, after the election that number went up by 600K. And the idea that the GOP candidate MUST have a landslide or it's really their fault is catering to the fraud.

The NC case involved a consultant and ballot harvesting. That House race was actually re run because of fraud and I think the Dem won the second time as the original winning GOP candidate dropped out.

The way I think the sides are doing it is via a large floating voter registration pool of non-existent voters. None of the states, including GOP states are doing the required purging of registrations except Ohio under Blackwell which started the cleanup. A company using fractals is enabling people to see how bad the registration lists are with all kinds of illegal characters inserted to prevent normal detection of invalid voter registrations. Real time access to voter history files also allows you to create a voter, let a ballot be case, and then delete the voter as if they never existed in some systems.
