The Ultimate Showdown Of Ultimate ONT

Friday! Time for meme madness. I view the Friday ONT like this:

Oh, this is interesting

I tried to tweet the original clip, and my account was immediately (and I do mean immediately) locked. A screen came up saying I had to delete the tweet. So I did. Then I filmed it playing on my monitor and retweeted it. This got by the censor bots. For now.

This tells me two things: #1 Yum foods has aggressively tried to block this from being seen, and #2, this is probably the actual recipe for KFC chicken. ONTWTF is a fairly obscure account, I hope this stays up. Assuming it does, go make yourself some finger lickin' good passive resistance to censorship.

Old, OLD school meme

I wanted to post the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny clip here, but it's 3:40 and Twitter won't take clips longer than 2:20. Yet I've seen plenty of longer clips posted on Twitter. Anyone have any idea how people get around the limits?

This was a sign last week
I voted against it, but I'm not sure that Jesus cares if Smith county builds a new courthouse.

Poetry

I missed one anniversary yesterday. 11/10 was the day the Edmund Fitzgerald sank. Here's a very interesting thread about the event

I know you all know the song, but go here and listen to it while reading the words. That's some top notch poetry there, even without the song to go with it. That's a master at work.

Tonight's ONT has been brought to you by trust:

Nevada is going to be close, but Laxalt must win the next batch from Washoe. High likelihood cheating has occurred there.

It is highly possible that Walker will have to win the runoff to hold 50/50 in the Senate.

McCarthy and McConnell are going to be in danger of losing their leadership positions. They thought the race was in the bag and tanked elections. And ended up losing the Senate at least.

That's why the GOP needs to adopt Blasters Grand Unification Theory of Political Power Acquisition and Maintenance, We need to get as good at cheating and fortifying elections and give up this fantasy of voting our way out of our predicament.

The answer is ballots not votes, millions upon millions of GOP ballots, millions upon millions of trunks, Buicks, Clydesdale's, sacks, valises, steamer trunks of beautiful, pristine, immaculate ballots.

And getting everyone and their mother to participate in early voting, mail-in voting, pre-election voting, post-election voting, the dead, seances etc.

The mechanisms of power accretion are against making elections reflect reality.

The next step is modeled on the Soviets and the Nazi's. Removal of plausible rivals.

Following that is the proposed final solution for the unbelieving vermin. We see the othering has started from 2008 and even before.

After that, society will decay at a 1/x rate, as the people holding it together are removed. The Left are evil, criminal, short-sighted, barbarians, that live to humiliate and kill others.

But there is a cunning plan. OPSEC. .

Regarding the Edmund Fitgerald, I was in my final year as a Chemistry major at Michigan Tech in Houghton, on the Keweenaw Peninsula, at that time.

The canal that bisects the peninsula there is a harbor of refuge. At dusk on November the 9th, winds were such that a continual series of white capped waves were running from west to east down the canal. The westward facing windows in the stairwell of the Chemistry / Chemical Engineering Building were bowing and flexing under the pressure from the winds. It truly was a fierce "blow".

As there were few televisions in the dorms at that time, and what radio listening there was tuned to dormitory stations, news of the Fitzgerald's sinking did not come to students until the next morning. Those of us who had lived near Lake Superior for most of our lives very matter of factly knew that the crew had perished. No one would survive long in the conditions that had prevailed overnight.

My father's family spent around sixty years living on one of Wisconsin's Apostle Islands, where they made their living as commercial fisherman. Their season ran from April into November each year. 1/2

During that sixty year span, a lake freighter ran aground on a nearby reef during a November storm and broke apart with loss of lives, although most of the people on board survived. Members of my father's family assisted the survivors and searched for those who perished through drowning or exposure in the storm.

Some twenty-five years later, one of my great-grandfathers experienced engine problems during the early fishing season in April. A snow squall was approaching, but he declined an offer of assistance to get him and his boat safely docked on the island. He and his boat disappeared in the squall and neither one was ever seen again. "The lake it is said, never gives up her dead..." 2/2

155 Good evening, y’all. Hope all is well. If you need a break from election drama, let me tell you a story about how I am probably going to die tonight. It started with dinner- we had filet, I split one with my 11 year old, so good there. We had a beautiful salad with all kinds of yummy veggies; here is where it starts to go array. Instead of my usual vinaigrette that is heavy vinegar and light oil, I went with blue cheese. Blue cheese. The thick kind with lots of blue cheese pieces. Then I ate the bacon that was wrapped around the filet because it was heritage pork kind and its would have been rude not to, right?!? And then, THEN, J ran out for a quick errand and came back with frozen custard, mine has caramel sauce in it. Even though it’s the mini size, I haven’t had refined sugar in a very long while. I can’t really remember the last time. I am going to eat it, because it would be rude not to (a theme) but I don’t know I will survive my food choices this evening,

Again, yes. I am a BLAST at parties. Why do you ask?

178 Shouldn't speaker a GOP speaker of the house be from f**king Oklahoma or Florida the Reddest states in the nation, not LIT-TER-RA-LY, the bluest state in the nation?

Went looking for "most conservative house members" and found

#1 1.00 Rep. Norman [R-SC5]
#2 0.94 Rep. Weber [R-TX14]
#3 0.93 Rep. Hartzler [R-MO4]
#4 0.93 Rep. Budd [R-NC13]
#5 0.92 Rep. Mooney [R-WV2]
#6 0.92 Rep. Gosar [R-AZ4]
#7 0.91 Rep. Lesko [R-AZ8]
#8 0.91 Rep. Wright [R-TX6]
#9 0.91 Rep. Steube [R-FL17]
#10 0.91 Rep. Marshall [R-KS1]

I think Gosar has made noises about running for leadership before. And Texas is a reasonable state for a rep leader to come from.

199 The Republican leadership has a terribly difficult job. The Democrats’ policies are destructive and vile, and a huge swath of the country hates them. The GOPe needs to capitalize on that but *not too much.*. The GOP needs sufficient numbers in office to pose as a real threat and give their supporters hope, but not so many that they’d have sufficient power to actually *do* anything. Actual power would mean they’d be held responsible and this would interfere with their grifting.

It’s a tough problem - they must win but not too much. You should feel for McCain and McCarthy.

The people of this country don't seem to care.

True. We do have to acknowledge that the corrupt Maricopa County election commission is a legacy of the rat bastard McCain and his Deep State handlers, though. The little cocksucker Ducey was paid well not to change it. I'm not certain, though, that the routine corruption in Detroit and Philly played much of a role this time. McConnell and McCarthy did what they were told. If your representative or senator does not denounce them, they are part of the problem, whether that even matters at this point.

It is demoralizing, no matter what the actual cause, whether it is cheating, indifference, or will of the people. This election should not have turned out this way. It should have been honest, citizens should care to vote, and should vote for policies that prioritize freedom.

Should is such a 4 letter word.

Posted by: AmericanKestrel at November 11, 2022 11:48 PM (fivxw)

301 Dave, whose efforts are rightly appreciated, alluded above to GOP leadership's role in the debacle (even allowing for the "distribution", i.e. geographical, and even the gerrymandering issues, it's still a debacle in this situation).

I hope this is explored by knowledgeable observers in the days ahead. Apparently Sen. Hawley has unloaded a bit on this topic. And I don't just refer to the "technical" failures - apparently, somehow, still, the GOP is unable to match or exceed the Dems' "get out the vote" operations using contemporary methods. I mean the funding actions, and the other things.

And beyond that, but really closely related, are the malevolent influence of sick/corrupt/losing GOP state organizations, gangs, cliques, mafias. Most prominently in AZ, PA, and MI, possibly elsewhere. These are the people who not only haven't fixed - or in some cases even tried to fix - obviously unacceptable election processes, but were the ones responsible for them (Baris notes that AZ's disastrous system is a legacy of GOP types, not Dems).

The thing is that incumbents on both sides benefit from the fraud. The only incentive is if they want the power of the majority, and that seems to come with additional hassles and no additional graft potential. This has always been the problem - the Republicans in office buy their votes just like the Dems, why should they want to give the prickly voters more say in whether they keep their job?

326 It's really astonishing that I could be surprised or disgusted with any political results, following 2020 (or 2008, or .....) - and an investigation will be launched!! - but I am amazed that the loathsome POS Kelly was re-elected. The ignorance and stupidity of his voters, the farcical partisan distortion of what used to be called the "press", incredible. He stood there on live TV and made the most laughably outlandishly mendacious claims about doing/saying *anything* about border security - and he survived. And his hamster-intelligence level voters believed it - or didn't care anyway.

330 Today, I wanted to move my '99 Suburban, which is down for an alternator replacement. I thought, "Gee, maybe I could bring a wire out from the field brush to an external regulator, and get some juice out of the old alternator, enough to keep it going until the new one shows up."

So I set it all up, reinstalled the old alternator, and tried to start it. No go, battery dead, despite being charged a few days ago. Brought out a booster battery, got the vehicle started, but the alternator would not put out, even with a jumper wire to the field. That alternator must be fully fucked. Backed the 'burb, ready to park it by the house, and it quit in the driveway. Oh, well. I can get the other one into the shop tomorrow to do the brakes. Took the battery out to put it on charge.

I think they are totally fine with Lake outside of her cleaning up the elections if she even can. The real action was Masters. They now will pronounce Laxalt the winner, and, ooopppsss, that Georgia election was so, so close but that bastard Trump caused Walker to loose. Hiss, hiss.

This isn't even good theatre at this point. The best we can do is demand McConnell and McCarthy be sacked, which raises the question of "what is the point?" The answer is "none."

I felt bad enough about our prospects if the election were fair and we "won." Guess there is no need now even for that kabuki. McCain set up a good fraud machine in Maricopa County, didn't he? No wonder he had a free hand to screw over his constituents. In the near future or now, fraud won't even be required.

337 And I get that people think that the slow roll is so Hobbs can get more ballots into the system, or change the vote totals. But I don't see how that is possible with Lake's lawyers watching the ballots.

362 The winning totals in AZ the last two decades of governor election cycles in AZ has been ~1.30M votes - the rest, the losers, have always been ~1.1M votes combined at best.

Posted by: CppThis at November 12, 2022 12:16 AM (UewuT)

365 So this is not speculation, this has been confirmed now.

The "plan" by McCarthy and McConnell was to use a narrow but "disappointing" win in both chambers to blame Trump and then use DeSantis as a tool to run against Trump and take him out. If DeSantis didn't bite on it, then their second choice is Youngkin.

The problem with this plan is it assumed that an R+5 electorate would produce a normal outcome in the election, and they were safe to tank seats that would given them trouble.

They may have gotten too clever by half, and are now being blamed for the losses. They could end up being the ones taken out by Senators/Members that were expecting chairmanships. A whole lot of plans have been derailed.

Yep. When the "will it carry a sheet of plywood" test began to be less and less important I knew we were headed in a bad direction.

I looked at a late-model Lexus that is based on the 4Runner a couple of years ago. It was going to be a tow vehicle and occasional camping vehicle (tent and sometimes just sleeping in the back).

The rear door? One big ol' door that swings out to the side. WTF? Ruined a great, gorgeous, capable vehicle by some shopping-mall demographic silliness.

387 We have a political system that serves to make politicians rich. So the "minority" part wishes above all to preserve the system. Some of them are actual fascists and monsters, but most are just trying to follow their career path. They all HATE those who they see as genuinely trying to ruin their payoff. So the "Rs" are going to do as little as possible to keep the "Ds" from eliminating those people. Also, this is probably the first time in human history that those trying to consolidate control over society don't have numbers or force or public approval to back it up. It's a giant bluff and media and social pressure campaign that is working so far, mostly because the normies don't even see it. Also, I still don't understand how people don't get upset that in the AZ gov race the person in charge is one of the candidates. Has there ever been a clearer case of where someone needed to recuse themselves and their direct subordinates?

Posted by: Trump poisoned my cat at November 12, 2022 12:36 AM (kJLpK)

405 Dave, at least on Mitch's part, a weaker version of the "plot" you outline is plausible, if still on the fringe. But the whole package actually being a deliberate strategy, and this being documented, would stun me (narrator: this idiot has been stunned before). That's quite B-movie plot level there.

And the Senate is so different, in the mechanics of how races work, and often how they relate to the CC (campaign committees) and leadership PACs, then the House. But Mitch has been crudely, openly reckless (i.e., working towards a goal that is not the party's normal goal or the country's interest) in his influence on Senate races.

Kevin and Co. were their normal selves, just sitting there waiting for the election to come to them, like a hungry puppy. Incredible, but "normal" for the GOP for a decade and more.

Sorry, we'll just have to disagree to disagree - the slow roll was for Lake's sake - Masters losing to Kelly was okay for the Dems (hold) but Lake's losing was really where it was at for the DNC - her winning means that AZ is lost to the Dems for many years to come and they know it.

465 People talk about getting rid of Dominion voting machines as a first step to getting clean elections. Then the voter rolls have to be reviewed (or better reapplied) along with voter ID with the name AND address matching the information for that voter in the system. Then we might start rehabilitating our elections into something more believable and accurate. But Dominion machines is just the name we hear most about because of the algorithms leading to fraudulent vote totals. My state (NY) does not use Dominion but I still have a problem with the new machines. You slide your vote in, like into a copier, then the machine reads your vote, deposits the paper ballot into the machine and then it tells me 'my vote is recorded'. I have no idea if my vote was recorded or not as I get no receipt from the machine showing my vote(s). With a receipt provided immediately upon voting, one could check to make sure who/what was voted for was actually tabulated that way.

But until there is voter roll review, voter ID, no early voting and no electronic voting machines, the game is rigged. My vote now only legitimizes elections replete with vote fraud about which 'my' side gives not one shit.

I can't see how Lake and Walker win myself. But many moons ago when it finally occurred to me once the dems have control of the voting system, the votes don't matter anymore; there are only 2 solutions, uprising or create cheating chaos so the system completely fails. I don't think it matters though as monetary collapse seems inevitable now.

477 Funny how Florida did there elections same day.

Get rid of the "machines"

Paper ballots with voter ID. (The Plantation Dem's "RACIST" screed don't hold no water anymore.) Yet they roll the same shit out every 4 years.

Limit Mail-in ballots to 2 weeks before elections with a verified signature and date. Limit early voting to 2 weeks prior.

Verified ID and signature on paper ballot the day of election.

Democrate's will HOWL AN SCREAM to these AFFRONTS to their created voting system...so be it.

They are the one's that started this BULLSHIT after all.

They just want to have ALL the power and FUCK the Republic.

If it is not so painfully obvious to true AMERICANS after this last election...then just put the Republic in a hole and call it a failed try for the history books.

As someone else mentioned, the Dems' wailing and gnashing of teeth about 'Democracy being on the ballot' and 'Democracy is under attack' is part of their plan. The Dems want a 50.01% democracy rule government, not a Republic with checks and balances.

The Dems are masters at word manipulation (democracy vs. Republic, pro-choice vs. pro-murder). Too bad 'our' side has no clue how to do that. That would be . . . unkind and 'not who we are'.
