Instant Dog Track Cafe

santoriniislandgreece.jpg
Santorini, Greece

People are playing a lot of tricks on dogs to get viral video moments, and dogs are getting very annoyed at this trend.

They're also tired of being made fun of just for clicks.

Did you poop?

Fare thee well, round companion.

Probably not smart to attract deer to a road, but... cute?

Hello! If this is real, it's eerie. Dog sounds like Scooby Doo.

Dog magic show.

Here's the problem with giving charity to a beggar.

This is the other problem.

The quick way down.

A nice dog owner made a stair-lift for his arthritic dog.

Cute kittens.

2nd level Druid.

Catching soap bubbles with friends.

Nascar needs to find a Mexican driver who can have it out with Bubba. And then if they were smart they would have a driver who called himself "The Sheikh" and he would wear an arab headress and just zoom around trying to wreck other cars. And maybe they could have a big folding chair fight out front before the race even starts.

Thank Jimmy Carter, amongst others. The Department of Education wasn't even a cabinet level position before him.

Reagan campaigned on demoting it back. He did not deliver.

Curiously, I've heard plenty of folks - including my Boomer Dad - rant an rave about "minimum standards" regarding public education. They always assume they'll get to define the standards.

110 It does seem to be the cord used to strangle states' independence in a lot of ways.

Now do the blessed "highway funds". Bill Clinton ramrodded an anti-smoking campaign, and a uniform drinking age, all by threatening to withhold Federal Highway Funds.

And the typical seals, back then, Boomed with their applause. Even my smoking parents ... who just couldn't quite square the idea that Saint Bill was the one making their blessed Winstons go up by a buck or more a pack.

Somebody tell me how its a Republic when DC takes your state money, then holds it hostage unless your state gets it's mind right. And I do mean right.

I sit corrected. Passed in 1984. Thank you. I'm positive the War on Tobacco was a Clinton thing, however.

You know, I graduated in '90, so I missed a lot of this shit. I only became interested in politics during Clinton.

But the more I learn about Reagan, the less I like him. And the more I get why a certain group of folks liked Clinton.

Federal unions are a cancer. No agreement from me on the notion that we should be doing business by having each line of work threaten each other like this.

Nixon started the EPA and implemented price controls, and he was still smaller government than the alternative. Reagan largely heralded a (temporary) sea change in attitudes towards government. Lead to Bill Clinton declaring the Era of Big Government is over.

Say, remember how China gave us the genetic mapping for the injection and then didn't use the mRNA shots themselves? Probably just a coincidence.

267 A fedora tipper with no real beliefs.

I'd look dumb in a fedora. Its not gonna fit with the jeans and work boots.

I have beliefs. What really knocks me out, seriously, is the beliefs many here insist on. Because they are so different from mine. And from folks I see every day.

Lets do one small thing. Can we look at Reagan, Amnesty, and watch how California turned Democrat that quick ? Can we agree on one small factoid ?

269 Hang around. It's about time for him to say Reagun closed all the mental hospitals and turned the crazies loose.

Had that argument with someone on another site. Asked him point blank if the lawsuits filed before Reagan took office might have had something to do with it. He of course said no, it was all on Reagan. Blocked him as he was obviously too stupid to talk to any more.

Posted by: LenNeal at October 18, 2022 09:29 PM (U11/V)

Putting a platform over the vents is a good idea, the cats are happy and the vents are free. Get very low to the ground coffee tables, like Japanese TV trays.

My ex GF had trouble with the cats bringing in mice to play to death and then they got down the vents to die

271 Please tell the class, SG, who was a great president?

Coolidge. He left people alone.

Posted by: SG at October 18, 2022 09:48 PM (7zWsq)

272 Don't buy an expensive, heated "Cat Bed"

Rather, surf your sites or local stores, till you find an old fashioned Heating Pad, with the three heat settings, and WITHOUT the automatic, two-hour shutoff.

Put it in an ordinary cat bed, set to low. Cover it with a towel. And, there's your far less expensive heated cat bed.

Not many Presidents have ever threatened folks with showing up to work or going to jail. Got to give him that.

And he gave away California to the Dems. Not to mention EMTALA.

As I said - the more I read about him, the less I like him.
Posted by: SG at October 18, 2022 09:09 PM (7zWsq)

There you go again.

Reagan did not threaten anyone with jail, dipshit. He told the striking air traffic controllers to come back to work or be fired, they said nah bro, he said buh bye.

Oh my! Well, I am glad you have a pole barn for her. Cat pee is not a great smell.

Kitty accidents are rare, but if you have one happen (urinary tract infection, or like CK’s kitty, sending you pee mail), use white vinegar first and then a strong enzymatic cleaner.

Do you really? Can you see how unions holding people hostage is like our tech monopolies? Conservatives have a very logically consistent and long-standing attitude towards monopolies(which unions are a type of or an attempt to establish). Allowing people to have that kind of unilateral power of others isn't good, and why trust-busting is sometimes needed.

Not for The Old One, who had a FIT when The Rescue arrived, and there is no way they're sleeping even adjacent in the near future. If I get identical beds, The Rescue will totally invade The Old One's bed.

The reason being, the Rescue is the worst frenemy. Will NOT leave The Old One alone, 'We're best friends!'
The Old One: "FUCK YOU!"

It's been a total battle. Fights, unbelievable. The Rescue is kind of hilarious, in her relentlessness.

"We're FRIENDS!

The Old One: "DIE! DIE! DIE!"

Laura Ingraham just had one of the top Brit cardiologists one. This guy went on TV to fight "vaccine hesistancy" and assure everyone it was safe and effective.

Then, his father died a few months after getting Pfizered, cardiac arrest. His autopsy was unusual. Lucky to be survived by a top cardiologist who knows what's unusual when he sees it, and is immune to any bullshit.

After that, he investigated it. He found the mRNA killed his father, by accelerating heart damage.

He told Laura at the time he just could believe a vaccine could be anything but good. He knew Pharma did all kinds of shenanigans, but he couldn't believe they'd do something like this.

He ends by saying this is the worst misuse of medical science in history.
