A wife decides to take her husband, Dave, to a strip club for his birthday. They arrive at the club and the doorman says, “Hey, Dave! How ya doin’?” His wife is puzzled and asks if hes been to this club before.
“Oh no,” says Dave. “Hes on my bowling team.” When they are seated, a waitress asks Dave if hed like his usual and brings over a Budweiser.
His wife is becoming increasingly uncomfortable and says,”How did she know that you drink Budweiser?”
“Shes in the Ladies Bowling League, honey. We share lanes with them.” A stripper then comes over to their table, throws her arms around Dave, and says “Hi Davey. Want your usual table dance, big boy?” Daves wife, now furious, grabs her purse and storms out of the club. Dave follows and spots her getting into a cab. Before she can slam the door, he jumps in beside her.
He tries desperately to explain how the stripper must have mistaken him for someone else, but his wife is having none of it. She is screaming at him at the top of her lungs, calling him every name in the book.

Thanks! I have one of those "hammer on it" impact drivers. I was using it to remove the pole shoe bolts in an old generator (those suckers are tight!). And the 1/2" square drive tang just plain sheared off.

I've had cuffs and a zipper replaced on a vintage jacket that I bought back in the mid 80s.
The shell and lining are still in perfect condition. I just wore out the cuffs at one point, and broke the zipper at another point in time.
They fixed both, no questions asked...

The only other things I recall were so heavily worn that I would have been ashamed to try to get a replacement (e.g. if a shirt lasts for five years, I consider that it's done its duty and am satisfied with its performance).
Pity that people with no sense of honor or shame ruined it for everyone.

Older refrigerators may draw a little more juice while the compressor is running, but it runs less frequently, and for shorter periods. Older fridges had thick walls, and were well insulated, and they used used refrigerants that were thermodynamically more efficient than the "ozone-friendly" crap they use today. I have an old round-shoulder Philco in my kitchen right now, and it works just fine. Probably 60 years old, if it's a day.

The Russians had no need to bomb the Nordstream pipeline, when they controlled the taps at the east end of the pipeline.

Jansport has a LW on their backpacks, I've been meaning to send the bag in on my Cascade. They used coil zippers unfortunately, which are prone to breakage. They may or may not repair those, not sure. Maybe I could get someone to sew new ones in.
Malfunctioning coil zippers can often be made to work by lightly squeezing the clamp part together with pliers, but these are cooked.

Cut many branches and the part that was resting on the pillar was relieved.
Then the nipple on the pump cap failed. It's an order part so to Auto Zone and purchased a primer bulb.
Looks rigable.

I bought some 8 years. ago and was a sceptic. I like old school steel like Henkel made in Germany. But the Cutcos I have are smaller paring type knives, cheese knives etc. After 8 years, they have way outperformed my expectations. They pretty much just don’t have to be sharpened.

Steam cleaning works well for that. I had a steam cleaner once. A Clayton Steamin' Demon. It worked amazingly well. You could cut grooves in concrete with it.
