I tried electrolyzing water once in my blissfully ignurnt youth. It was working, too, until I bumped the water pail, causing one of the inverted drinking glasses to fall over and then the short circuit from the bared ends of the extension cord I had pressed into service for the electrodes tripped our basement's circuit breaker. "What are you kids doing down there?" "Oh, nothing, Mom!"

10 Well, sure. If everyone drove on the same side of the road it would be dangerous.

UK, Australia, NZ, South Africa, many other African countries that were British colonies, all drive on the LEFT. I think India and Pakistan may too.

So. Green hydrogen is a myth? The SLS is still sitting on the ground because H2 is soooo easy to work with.

It's a good thing NASA has only blown about $50 billion on it so far, with ZERO launches.

36 From the hydrogen article...

"When hydrogen is made with excess wind and solar energy, it also serves as a kind of "energy storage" similar to a battery, so that abundant renewable power doesn't go to waste when electricity demand is low."

Now that's some first rate scienceing going on there.

50 Always love the hype of solar highways. It seem such a great idea (by the media) that a few short sections were built in France (I believe). One was a bicycle path. It seems no one in authority ever used an engineer to tell him or her is would be a failed idea. Just a fantasize thinking in someones mind. Gee, charging a EV off the highway would be great. The old Popular Mechanics magazine of the 1950-60's were full of crazy ideas for teenage boys to read.
