Via Hot Air's headlines, which is suddenly experiencing a dearth of links to The Bulwark, The Daily Beast, Aaron Rupar, Damon Linker, and a host of other scumbags, The fed has revised its 3rd Quarter GDP projection upwards from 1.3% to 0.5%, because the Inflation Reduction Act is working so well.

Latest estimate: 0.5 percent -- September 15, 2022

The GDPNow model estimate for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the third quarter of 2022 is 0.5 percent on September 15, down from 1.3 percent on September 9.

We're in a recession now. They're claiming the economy will grow slightly in the third quarter (the quarter we're in now), and then they'll say "See, we're not in a recession." But once you're in a recession -- which we are; two quarters of back-to-back negative growth -- a single quarter of anemic growth doesn't mean you're out of it. That happens a lot during a recession, and doesn't mean it's over.

And besides -- that projection, as all other projection, is biased upwards, because the federal government, like Wall Street, is filled with progressive trolls who can't stop wishcasting good news for the Democrat Party.

AP "fact" checks the "I have information which will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton" joke because they're very serious people doing very serious things.

Social media posts claim Queen Elizabeth II announced before she died that she had information that could lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton. This is false; there is no record of the queen making such a statement, and the claim matches a years-old meme that reflects a conspiracy theory that the former secretary of state and her husband kill their political opponents.

"I have information that will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton," the queen is quoted as saying in an Instagram post shared September 9, 2022.

Weird how they never, ever fact-check the false claims made by leftwing late night hosts.

This is gross: Hillary Clinton talks about "Wet Ass P*sssy" on her absurd "Gutsy" show on Apple TV.

Some points:

1. Ew. Did I mention that one?

2. Hillary Clinton hilariously called the show "Gutsy" to compliment herself -- a woman who glommed on to a man and rode him to prominence -- for her own gutsiness. It is utterly lacking in grace to give yourself a compliment and then make that compliment the name of a show so that whenever anyone mentions it, they have to say "Gutsy" "Hillary Clinton" in the same sentence. This is obviously intentional. If Trump did something like this, we'd never hear the end of complaints about narcissism.

3. Once again, we see leftwing corporations, in this case, Apple, paying huge sums of money to politicians supposedly for a TV show (or book, etc.) but actually as a barely-disguised political bribe. Hillary Clinton is not out of politics yet; this "Gutsy" woman might run for president. She controls a lot of people. In addition, even if she's really retired, Apple -- and all of these megacorporations -- are telling other leftwing Democrats, "Take care of us, and we'll take care of you in retirement, with million dollar deals for doing essentially nothing."

4. The words "Hillary Clinton" and "Wet Ass P*ssy" should not even be in the same area code at the same time. Words I can accept being in close proximity are "Hillary Clinton" and "Desiccated Husk of a Mouldering Mummycunt."

By the way, Kim Kardashian just accepted an invite to appear on "Gutsy" and talk about vaginal moistness (I guess, based on previous episodes' topics). Kim Kardashian's fans are calling her a sell-out and telling her it is very off-brand to appear with this corrupt witch-troll.

The Department of Defense's Diversity Chief shows her qualifications for her job -- she hates white people and has built a college "education" and then a career around hating white people, and keeps being rewarded for it.

Self-described "woke administrator," Kelisa Wing, vanished from Twitter when her account was put on private. Her LinkedIn account has apparently been deleted. This after making insensitive remarks about white people on Twitter, calling them "Karens."

Wing is the chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).

Before it was deleted, Wing's LinkedIn account profile showed 16 years at the DoD and a December 2021 promotion to her current post as DEI chief. At the time of her promotion, the DoD issued a statement saying that Wing "has been involved with diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for... schools over many years, authoring several books on the topic."

Indeed, a search on Amazon for Wing's books will quickly display a series under the banner, "Racial Justice in America." A sample of her titles include "What Is the Black Lives Matter Movement?", "What Does It Mean to Defund the Police", "Atrocities in Action," and "Juneteenth".

In her book "What is White Privilege?" Wing helpfully says that "White privilege hurts a lot of people. If you are White you might feel bad about hurting others or you might feel afraid to lose this privilege." She goes on to assert the need for White people to confess their privilege and admit that their actions have hurt Black people by being benefactors of unearned advantages.

John Sexton has a good post about Stacey Abrams' rewriting of history on her constant Election Denial Insurrectionism -- and The View enabling her to peddle lies without challenge. "Republican" Alyssa Trannyface eagerly helped her push her lies, of course. "Speaking as a Republican," of course.

After posting the gals of The View agreeing that Tank's lies are the New Truth, Sexton writes:

[A]s my friend Jeryl Bier pointed out on Twitter, Abrams was doing a lot more than just claiming a moral victory. Here's a 2019 interview she gave to the NY Times which was published under the headline "Why Stacey Abrams is still saying she won."

I saw that recently you said something like you'd won your election but you just didn't get to have the job.

Yes.

Is there any fear on your part that using that kind of language fans the same flames that President Trump has fanned about delegitimizing our elections?

I see those as very different. Trump is alleging voter fraud, which suggests that people were trying to vote more than once. Trump offers no empirical evidence to meet his claims. I make my claims based on empirical evidence, on a demonstrated pattern of behavior that began with the fact that the person I was dealing with was running the election. If you look at my immediate reaction after the election, I refused to concede. It was largely because I could not prove what had happened, but I knew from the calls that we got that something happened. Now, I cannot say that everybody who tried to cast a ballot would've voted for me, but if you look at the totality of the information, it is sufficient to demonstrate that so many people were disenfranchised and disengaged by the very act of the person who won the election that I feel comfortable now saying, "I won." My larger point is, look, I won because we transformed the electorate, we turned out people who had never voted, we outmatched every Democrat in Georgia history.

Notice she's making two different claims. First that "something happened" and people who might have voted for her were disenfranchised. And second, she's claiming "we transformed the electorate." But those aren't the same things. And to the credit of David Marchese, who was conducting the interview, he immediately caught it and pressed her on it. Here was his next question:

It's one thing to say you lost that election unfairly, and it's another to say you won because you increased voter turnout. But can you clarify for me exactly what you're implying when you say you "won" that election?

See the link for Abrams' continuing attempt to have it both ways, both insisting "I won" but also "I'm not denying the results of the election like Trump did."

Subtext: Because I'm a Democrat, and Democrats -- especially black Democrats -- pretty much deny every single election win by Republicans, and no one has called us out for it before, and I don't see why I should be singled out for it now.

I'm not engaging in Russian Disinformation with that claim. Watch Tucker Carlson's opening monologue from September 14th to see all the Democrats denying that Trump won the election in 2016.

When one woman that Trump is an "illegitimate president," then-Vice-President Biden doesn't scold her -- he says he'd like her to be his running mate in his next bid for president.

Here's a clip you may not have seen before. This is the current vice president of the United States, Kamala Harris, speaking not so long ago, June 2018, about the integrity of electronic voting machines. Kamala Harris was a senator then. Watch this:

KAMALA HARRIS: We recently also, I actually held a demonstration for my colleagues here at the Capitol where we brought in folks who, before our eyes, hacked election machines, those that are not, those that are being used in many states but are not state of the art from our perspective.

Oh. Kamala Harris publicly raising questions about the integrity of voting machines. Well, you know what didn't happen next. The FBI did not trap Kamala Harris at a Hardee's to seize her cell phone. No one in the media called her an insurrectionist and honestly, whatever you think of Kamala Harris, why would they? If you actually cared about democracy and the trust in the system that is a prerequisite for democracy, you would encourage all questions from U.S. citizens about how your democracy was administered. You would never censor those questions ever. You would never punish the people who ask those questions, ever. Even news organizations once understood this not so long ago.

During the Trump years, CNN published a video entitled "We Watched Hackers Break into Voting Machines." Oh, that was allowed then. CBS ran a report entitled "How Electronic Voting Machines Could Hack Your Vote." Oh, really? Did the FBI come after you at Hardee's? No, they didn't. That's what news organizations used to do: ask obvious questions, make sure everything works. If there's corruption, we'll sniff it out. We're going to reassure you that your vote counts. You have to be reassured or else the system collapses. You can't just tell people to shut up, ban them from Twitter and arrest them. And once again, even Democrats understood that.

In 2019, a couple of them, Elizabeth Warren, Mark Warner of Virginia, wrote to the makers of election systems complaining about potential security vulnerabilities. "There has been a lack of meaningful innovation in the election vendor industry, and our democracy is paying the price." Is that true? Honestly, we have no idea. We're not endorsing that view then or now. We're merely saying it is not a crime to ask. In fact, it is a prerequisite if you want to have a healthy system that people are allowed to ask and the people who are asked are required to show proof, to reassure them. Of course. But now Democrats and the media who serve them are pretending that no one ever asks questions like this until 2020 ever. It never happened before. Watch.

JOE BIDEN: This is a nation that believes in the rule of law. We do not repudiate it. This is a nation that respects free and fair elections. We honor the will of the people. We do not deny it.

Oh, the rule of law. So, the rule of law, the new law is "shut up." Right. They were telling you it was a "free and fair election" about which no debate was allowed the day Joe Biden was certified the winner, the day. Right. Before they could know, in other words. So that's Joe Biden's new position. Here's the same and we checked it, this is the same Joe Biden, a little dimmer, but still the same guy today back in 2019.

WOMAN: He is an illegitimate president in my mind. That's it. He's illegitimate and my biggest fear is that he's going to do it again with the help of Vlad, his best pal and we're going to be stuck for six more years of this guy and that is terrifying. It's terrifying.

BIDEN: Would you be my vice-presidential candidate? Folks, look, I absolutely agree.

Oh, faced with an election denier who violates the rule of law and our sacred norms in public on camera. Joe Biden doesn't scold her. He doesn't call for the FBI to trap her at Hardee's and seize her personal communications device. He jokingly offers to reward her. We're so on the same page we could run together. but he didn't run with that election denier. He ran with this one.

KAMALA HARRIS: Elections matter. When you win an election, you get to set the rules.

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: How can you win with Russian interference, though?

HARRIS: That's a real thing!

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: That's what I'm scared about in 2020.

KAMALA HARRIS: But rightly.

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: Because I think he's an illegitimate president that didn't really win, so how do you, you know, fight against that in 2020?

KAMALA HARRIS: You are absolutely right. So, again, as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, I will tell you that we should believe exactly what the intelligence community has told us, which is Russia did interfere in the election of the president of the United States in 2016.

That clip is from three years ago. This is how insane the conversation we're having is right now. No one seems to remember that. It was just Sunday. It's Wednesday. This Sunday, like three days ago that that same person, Kamala Harris, did a taped interview with NBC News and Chuck Todd, the comb over guy, to explain that Republicans who have the same questions about the last election that she had about the election before, that should not be allowed to hold office. It's a threat to the republic that they are running for office. In other words, democracy is a threat to democracy. This is the currency of the Democratic Party and has been for years. Lose the election, immediately question the election. Stacey Abrams anyone?

We can show you dozens and dozens and dozens of clips like this, not from small time people, from Kamala Harris, from Hillary Clinton, from Karine Jean-Pierre. You get the point. This is crazy, but under Joe Biden, the Department of Justice appears to be doing everything it can to criminalize questions about the last election. Complain about election fraud, the FBI might show up. The DOJ's much broader effort, it's not simply about a contested election in Mesa County, Arizona. Their effort is based on what they claim was a scheme to install alternate electors who would vote for Donald Trump in 2020 instead of Joe Biden. This is the core of their case. This is DOJ's apparent justification for crushing citizens and crushing dissent, seizing the cell phones of dozens of Trump allies, including his personal attorney, which was never allowed, but they just did it.

Latino Heritage Month began on September 15 and the NFL wanted to do its part in celebrating and promoting the occasion by unveiling a special edition logo. All the league did was put a yellow tilde over the 'N' in NFL and is now getting torched for the lazy behavior.

"This shield integrates an unmistakable Latin flavor and is fundamental to our always-on, 365 day initiative," the NFL wrote alongside the graphic. "The electric brush stroke of the 'EÑE' is filled with an infectious personality that is carried out through the rest of the look and feel."

Are they saying that Latinxes spread disease?

They also put out embarrassing tweets that say "Por La Cultura." That's some top-level 7th Grade "Beto" O'Rourke Spanglish right there.

Is this a victory for us? I mean, if Woke corporations are going to continue to virtue signal "por la cultura," wouldn't we prefer they did so in the most trivial ways possible?

"I wasn't demoted! It's just a downward promotion, I swear!"

Has Don Lemon been set up to fail? According to Megyn Kelly (I was never able to find the clip), Don Lemon looked right into the camera and said, "You can't fire me, I'm gay and black," or words to that effect. He was "joking"... except of course he wasn't joking at all.

Despite what Lemon says, this looks like a last-chance opportunity for Lemon to survive at CNN. He may have had a contract, but lots of people have contracts in broadcasting, only to have them bought out and/or canceled when the ratings crater -- as ratings did with Lemon. If CNN's morning fortunes don't substantially improve, Lemon might have bigger worries than a demotion. In that sense only, Lemon's right that "this is an opportunity."

This might be an opportunity for CNN to establish he just can't pull an audience or guests who aren't the same 50 Democrat plants, laying the predicate for a firing.
