OUT: The FISA Court Only Issues Surveillance Warrants With Compelling Evidence
IN: Federal Judges Only Issue Warrants to Raid Presidents With Compelling Evidence

Below the fold, "Fusion Ken" Dilanian basically says the exact same things he did about how hard it is to get a FISA surveillance warrant, and how the very fact The Regime secured one against Trump proves that the evidence against him is bountiful, robust, and impeccable.

Excuse me, Fusion Ken, but we've heard all of this before, and heard it from you before, haven't we?

In the Empire of Lies, all citizens are required to forget everything The Regime did a month or more ago.

Screen-Shot-2022-08-08-at-10.48.39-PM-437x600.png

I'll believe it when I see it. As Kyle Sheidler points out, the Senate Republicans rolled over when the Criminal Wray decided he was going to play hooky on their committee and take a jet they had given him to go on a weekend vacation.

pompeohillary.jpg

After years of shrieking that it's too dangerous to the Republic to even talk about going after Hillary Clinton for her many crimes, NeverTrump is clapping like seals about Biden weaponizing the federal government to go after the likely 2024 GOP nominee.

desantisraidontrump.jpg

Maybe it's time for governors and all right-thinking local governments to end all cooperation with the FBI.

I renew a suggestion for an action that all Americans can take to show their rejection of Oligarchic Rule: Automatic acquittal in all federal prosecution cases until the federal government is reformed. They can't prosecute and terrorize the population if jurors -- guaranteed in criminal trials by the Constitution -- automatically refuse to convict.

You can't trust a prosecution brought by a criminal gang, obviously.

It's always the same people -- and the same people cited for malfeasance by the IG:

conflicteddoj.jpg

Of course, they keep being put on these cases because they weren't guilty of "malfeasance." They did exactly what The Regime asked of them. And so they are rewarded.

Even this cvck gets it:

ericksonirs.png

And this one, of course, does not:

#MuhPrinciples, amirite?

brittanyhunter.png

This is funny, but it makes a good point: There is obviously evidence that Hunter Biden has committed a lot of crimes, and yet there are no raids on his home.

There is also evidence that Joe Biden committed crimes with him.

Conclusive proof? No, not yet -- but that's why you issue warrants to conduct raids on people's homes. To get that proof.

Now, in the past, even though there is probable cause to believe Joe Biden committed crimes, we would say: "But we must restrain ourselves. This is a president we're talking about. We do not send the FBI over to raid his house because we have probable cause to suspect he was running a foreign influence-peddling operation with his dirtybag crackhead son."

But that was in the past.

What restrains us now?

If we see a Democrat -- any Democrat, including one running for any office -- for whom we have any probable cause of suspicion of committing any crime, send the police raiding parties, slap on the leg irons.

And what will NeverTrump say then about MuhNormzzz? They've blessed this tactic every single time it's been deployed against Trump or his people.

Is it time for them to decloak and admit simply that they are Democrats and urge a different rule for Democrats just because Democrats believe in a separate rule for Democrats?

Committee hearings are pointless in general. They are definitionally theater.

You know what would make the DOJ actually scared?

Returning to regular budgetary order, passing individual budget and appropriations bills by department, and then halving the DOJ's budget while denying the left the ability to hold the DOD budget at the same time.

She is expecting a few of the newly minted auditors to be slithering around their businesses as soon as Retardo crayons his name on the bill.

[The inflation reduction act] To be slightly more explanatory: Record U.S. investment in climate and clean energy, expected to reduce carbon emissions 31% and 44% from 2005 levels by 2030 and energy costs over the long run. Overdue authority for Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices. A 15% minimum tax for corporations with profits of at least $1 billion. A cash infusion for an IRS so depleted that rich tax evaders aren’t getting caught. And about $300 billion in deficit reduction, which economists say creates downward pressure on inflation and helps the Federal Reserve do its job.

161 Ken Dilanian purports to describe the established "process for getting a search warrant against a former President".

There is no process. It's without precedent in our history for a poorly polling politician to cause the FBI to raid his opponent in an upcoming Presidential election, as a fishing expedition.

Dilanian is a useless hack, a deep-state tool, an Obama employee seconded right now to MSDNC. It nauseates me to see these evil people cloaking themselves in legal process to somehow try justifying what everyone knows is an ongoing political jihad that has gone on non-stop since 2016. If the GOPe wants power, they'll do it by fighting to get themselves elected in a majority. If they want money, the best way to get it is to have power.

Also, NeverTrump is Nevermore, sad to see you waste so much time with it. The most dangerous enemies are people like Graham and so forth who pretend to be on our side and ally with the police state elements.

Then allow me to let you rest easier. Its hard work to be the majority political party. But if you cooperate, you can be the minority political party - still the second most powerful political entity in the country - with much, much less effort.

All you have to do is feed pablum to the rubes. You don't even have to win, in the macro sense. You'll still be the second most powerful party in a two party system where politics controls everything.

You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against -- then you'll know that this is not the age for beautiful gestures. We're after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you'd better get wise to it. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted -- and you create a nation of law-breakers -- and then you cash in on guilt. Now, that's the system, Mr. Rearden, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."

I somewhat agree; we can't know exactly what the FBI was doing and why, or what the end result of that will be yet.

But I don't have to wait for the end of the trials to know that attacking a former president like this is an extremely sketchy and ill-considered idea. I don't have to wait for all the facts to come out to know that an FBI raid on the home of the president's opponent is third world dictator crap.

I do not understand the urge to denigrate and find fault with the one person who has had the balls to risk his fortune to fight on our behalf. He's far from perfect, all of us are, but at least he fights and as long as he does the least I can do is support him.

Trump has brought us to a place where nobody can ignore the corruption and tyranny of our government any longer. People need to make a choice, they will either fight alongside Trump even if they don't like him or give up an accept tyranny because the fantasy of an armed insurgency is just that, a fantasy. This is where things get decided and if we throw in the towel now then we've lost.

Like those medical professionals order screening tests, renew drug prescriptions, gather information, etc., federal magistrate judges issue routine search warrants, handle misdemeanor cases, low dollar civil cases, and so forth.

Given the complex politics and legal issues of issuing a search warrant on a former president, this is like a physician's assistant suddenly cracking open their patient for open heart surgery in the examination room.

540 Monopolies and oligopolies are always about restricting market access and partnering with government to go about doing that.

Large is almost always bad from an efficiency and political standpoint whether it is big city government, a monopoly or oligopolistic firm, school systems, or an ngo. To the extent that hippies were right--small is beautiful.

See: The Affordable HealthCare Act. The entities pulling for that were the large hospital corporations and insurance companies. Medicine and the practice of medicine have been severely damaged in consequence. But hey, $$$!

541 Court needs to take a page from desegregation days when the Court routinely overturned state and lower court decisions with no opinion other than citing its precedent and then remanded it to the lower courts to get it right. Lower court judges hate having to redo their homework.

We need this for all the stupid laws that Dems just do in spite of the Supreme Court ruling. Too much process - just slap them down and they can spend years in the court getting their law on the books rather than us getting the law off the books.

543 Stop blaming Republicans for this mess. We have more than our share of two-faced shit bags; Boehner, Ryan, McCain, Romney....oh wait, forget it.
