Ezra Miller Charged With Felony Burglary
Note: I know this is not a big story in the scheme of things. But 1, I don't know if people want three posts on the Deep State's Last Dance in a row, and 2, I need time to finish the next post anyway.

So here's a change-up.As David Zaslav seeks to revamp Warner Bros Discovery's DC cinematic universe, one of the studio's biggest stars continues to make headlines for alleged criminal behavior. Ezra Miller, who portrays Barry Allen, aka the Flash, as part of the DC Extended Universe, has been charged with felony burglary in Stamford, VT, according to a report from the Vermont State Police. The alleged incident occurred on May 1 and involved missing bottles of alcohol from a local residence. According to the report, surveillance video indicated Miller's involvement and they were issued a citation on Sunday to appear in Vermont Superior Court on Sept. 26 for arraignment. This latest incident follows a pattern of disturbing behavior and allegations of misconduct that traces back to at least 2020. Miller was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment in early 2022 and, hours before their court appearance in April for these charges, was arrested again after an altercation in which they were accused of throwing a chair and injuring a woman. Additionally, two orders of protection have been granted in recent months, one for a 12-year-old in Massachusetts and one for Gibson Iron Eyes, an 18-year-old Standing Rock activist, who was allegedly groomed by Miller, according to parents Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle.He's also running an illegal pot farm -- illegal, because a license is required to grow the number of pot plants he's growing. And of course there are those grooming allegations, but that's, you know, legal in America now if you're a They/Them.

Some have made the insane suggestion that they will reshoot the entire movie Flashpoint.
They are already into it to 300 million and are doing extensive reshoots, I don't think its feasible to do the entire thing over again.

For some reason, turkeys were attracted to the house I just moved out of. 2 stories, the gutters of the house were 20', I needed a mofo ladder to get up to clean them out. The turkeys loved to get on the roof at 5am and sun themselves, sounded like a bunch of day laborers walking around at 6am. They had absolutely zero problem flying up there. Kinda weird to see a 17+ lb. bird not even take a running start and just rocket up to the roof. Once warmed up, they'd glide down to the lawn and peruse it for grubs.

There have been stories for years about the pervy nature of Dan Schneider, who produced and directed a lot of shows for Nickelodeon. Apparently was a foot fetish guy, and it showed in some of the episodes he'd direct.
I'm guessing he's at the heart of a lot of this. But I think the press has tried to turn a fairly standard nondisclosure agreement into something more nefarious. She was being fired for fighting with her co-star, and I'm guessing their bigger concern was shutting her up about that.

Each spring the Cooper and Goshawks come through. It is always the week of the year the squirrel kits are out eating the buds off of the Hawthorn Trees.
If you are patient enough, you can watch the hawks nab just about 8/10 of them before they move north to their nesting grounds.

At some point, you have to look at the areas who consistently support who they support.
Nobody chooses to live in Southern Illinois. So I give a pass to those folks caught in geography. But folks that live in Chicago ? Man, you told me all you need to tell me just by staying there.
Same for New Jersey. It's not that big a state. Easy to leave.

The earlier Flash TV series was not too bad an adaptation, but they were less kookie villains and more Dark-Knight gritty noir. Flash was meant to run in the sun. The long-running current series has had its moments, good and bad. Took a while to warm up to Grant Gustin in the role.
But I hate every second of the new film Flash, the costume, the character, everything. The only good thing with the Ezra Miller Flash was his brief cameo in the CW-DC "Crisis" crossover, where Miller and Gustin briefly meet and are queerly admiring each other's costumes.
Won't miss Miller Flash at all. The Fantastic Beasts franchise will have to replace him, too.

There are a few around Southern California. Great Horned Owls are the only natural predator of crows, so crows go berserk when they find one sleeping in a tree.

its good. first two or three episodes I was worried it was going to turn in a bad direction (lefty propaganda) but the direction you think it might be going isn't where it is going.
Pratt is real good in it. Definitely re watchable. Although the first time will be the best. Can be fairly criticized for being somewhat of a male fantasy - genre type - it is what it is and does it well.

A LOT of genetic memory at work, I think. My old cat (and long-term companion) Belmont The Cat (RIP) once wandered into the den, where the vacuum cleaner hose was lying loose and sort of coiled on the floor. As he rounded the door, and spied it, he leapt into the air and backward, hissing.
Now Belmont was an indoor cat, he'd certainly never encountered a snake, but everything in his being screamed 'Danger!' I never saw him react that way to anything.
