Something Unbelievable Happened Yesterday: Someone Failed to Position Kamala Harris for Success

Nick Arama plays Plato and records the wisdom of this Schlong-hopping Socrates.

Go to the link to see Kamala also claim, without evidence, and rather ghoulishly, claim that the deadly floods in Kentucky and Missouri were due to "climate change."

45 The flooding in Missouri happened because there's been a ton of urban development since the 1990s in the floodplain of the Missouri River, which consequently has been levee'd up far more than previously to protect all the homes and businesses; meaning that in a heavy rain, the water doesn't have a lot of places to go and thus bursts through wherever it can.

This is known. And environmentalists would be on safer ground in arguing that that urban buildup was a bad idea. But Kamala, being Kamala, was immediately drawn to the low-IQ response of "Climate change hur-durr!!"

71 So here's Kamala's quote: Our administration has also invested $65 billion into the electric grid and transmission infrastructure for our nation -- so to build thousands of miles of new, resilient transmission lines. And in that way, we can move clean energy from where it is created to where it is needed. It is literally about the transportation of energy.

So, think: From a wind farm in Iowa to a suburb in Chicago, or from a solar farm in Nevada to a family farm in Missouri. How exciting is that.

You don't freaking move energy from Nevada to Missouri via transmission lines. The line loss over that distance is huge. You generate electricity locally or semi-locally and distribute it to nearby areas. Yes, new transmission lines are good and important. No, not like heels up said.

96 Kamala: "We can move clean energy from where it is created to where it is needed. It is literally about the transportation of energy ... How exciting is that!"

Natural gas pipelines have been around in a major way in the USA (interstate transmission) since shortly before WWII. At around 500 B.C., the Chinese started using crude bamboo “pipelines” to transport gas that seeped to the surface and to use it to boil sea water to get drinkable water. Kamala and her writers are unmitigated dolts.

22. Regulation of abortion.
Because Kansans value both women and children, the constitution of the state of Kansas does not require government funding of abortion and does not create or secure a right to abortion. To the extent permitted by the constitution of the United States, the people, through their elected state representatives and state senators, may pass laws regarding abortion, including, but not limited to, laws that account for circumstances of pregnacy resulting from rape or incest, or circumstnces of necessity to save the life of the mother.

Ballot proposals are automatically suspect. People will vote "no" unless you can give a clear reason for them to vote "yes."

That proposal was shit warmed over. They should have simply put something like "Abortions after the first trimester are prohibited save to protect the life of the mother, or in cases where incest or rape can be proven."

That would pass, but instead they made a word salad.

175 Listen, if we don't move forwards then all we're going to do, you see, is move backwards. And moving backwards is the wrong thing to do. When you go backwards you don't know what's in front of you because what's in front of you is behind you, and what's behind you is in front of you.

So the best thing to do, right... as a mother, sister, daughter, auntie and a friend, is to move forward in our hearts... in our minds... in all of our organs. In our brains, our kidneys, our livers... you know kidneys do important stuff... they are really important things...

In every organ we have, you have to move forward, because organs are important and organs are what make things happen in the body. Organs get things done. And when the body is making things happen and those organs are getting things done, you can make things happen and get things done. You can do that.

And when you do things... like Healthcare Reform, Inflation Reduction, Border Control, and reform of healthcare like Joe, and I, we can make things happen together. All of us. We can all make them happen together, like a big, giant, important... organ. Thank you.

Kansas is a big state. Not many people but spread way out and it takes a long time for some people to get to a doctor. If you dont have many GYN's in the state and you are worried about losing yours, you might not want to outlaw something that they rely on to make their living. I'm not saying that's justifiable. Its not. But it might be a pragmatic reason why some people in Kansas, did a thing you'd not expect them to do otherwise.

This is dangerous and bad thinking. At seven yards, a shotgun pattern (depending on load) often looks about softball sized. If your wife refuses to practice and grabs a shotgun due to a bump in the night, she's likely not even getting the safety off. If it's a pump, she'll likely short stroke it. If she has to clear the weapon, or heaven forbid, reload it, it'll take ages.

A shotgun is one of the MOST difficult man portable guns to run a full manual of arms on.

256 To really stop someone you need to a) have them bleed enough to stop oxygenation to the brain, b) a central nervous system hit. One of the issues that cops face is that you get perps that are literally drugged up so they don't feel much. In addition, the vascular system starts cutting off peripheral blood flow to concentrate on central core systems. Combine the two and you can end up with a situation that an elephant gun might not stop them in time to save your butt. They may be dying but often have the insane idea of taking you with them.

In a gunfight, some will turn and run before a shot is fired. Some will fold if a shot is fired at them. Others are quite capable of being shot and continuing to do what they choose to do. Those are often the zombies of nightmares and require a killing shot to CNS or mechanical bone destruction where they can no longer harm you.
Read up sometime on the the FBI Miami shootout. There are other stories out there with perps that literally act like the Terminator when shot. They keep coming.

I would not take advice on firearms from movies. FWIW, a shotgun less than 18 inches requires ATF tax stamp and a Fun Anal probe background check as an NFA item. Decreasing the barrel size increases recoil and even more fun, blast. Magazine size depending on the model also shrinks a bit.

Shotguns can be fine defensive weapons but they are not a ray cone of death that movies etc. push them as. They require aiming and practice at anything other than point blank range (which often jams them btw for a second shot). The police had a lot of experience with them and there is a reason that they moved to rifles or pistol caliber carbines in many jurisdictions.

Something similar happened when we lived in Connecticut. Our Town tried three times to pass a $19 million bond for a new police station and it got curb stomped every time it came up for a vote. The town lawyers changed the wording of the proposed bond vote and it got passed with nearly 60% approval. every state might have a different political sweet spot, on number of weeks. I'm for whatever wins elections (which will mean more restrictions on abortions than the left wants). GOP in New York could push for 23 weeks, instead of 39 .. for example. That might be the most popular for winning in NY, idk. The heartbeat bill maybe is popular in more conservative states. The pelvic girdle is one of those that can physically immobilize a perp and can be taken out by a shotgun. Plus there are a lot of important blood vessels going through the area. Couple of NYPD Stakeout crew (they took on armed robbers in stores like deer hunters waiting in a blind), were named the Proctologists for doing this with a pretty high success rate.

However, it won't necessarily be an instant stop to them shooting you. That pretty much takes a CNS (central nervous system) shot--even a shot to the heart, depending on the cycle, can give the perp a few seconds to do you in. That is why you take cover if you can first before trying to shoot.

392 All firearms involve tradeoffs and some have more of a training curve than others. None is perfect but some are better tools for some tasks than others.

People have been shot like a female LA PD officer in the heart with a 357 by a perp and lived while taking out the bad guy that shot her. Others have taken horrific wounds from rifles or shotguns and survived.

There is an old saying--beware of the man with one gun as they probably know how to use it. That means, even if it is a 22 LR, they can confidently put that lowly round in your eyeball if necessary and with no luck required. Ditto for any other firearm.

It is not the tool (shotgun, handgun, rifle, or even baseball bat) but rather the software (aka training) that is necessary. As Wild Bill Hickock said, some people hesitate to pull the trigger, I don't. To win the fight you have to have the training, willpower, and the tool in order to persevere.

412 > polling that shows that not only is the country pretty split on abortion

Poll after poll shows that most people are willing to tolerate (if not be enthusiastic about) early term abortion, while being dramatically opposed to late term abortion.

The country is not "split" on this issue to any significant degree. There are extremists on both sides who are driving the conversation, but those extremists are not the median voter.

What does that say that the guy took multiple shots before leaving and dying in the yard. As the FBI found out, you may have mortally wounded the perps but they can still kill you while dying (see the Miami Shootout). Sometimes the perp wants to do that and only something that mechanically immobilizes them like destroying the pelvic girdle so you can get away or a central nervous system shot will do.

Shot placement is something everyone should practice with whatever they have including short range. This is not a criticism of the woman involved btw, she did the best she could with what she had and won. But there are some tragedies out there that can be avoided by practicing.

That we should pick and choose the innocents we wish to kill is not terribly moderate.

If you wish to make exceptions for rape/incest and obviously the serious threat to the life of the mother is what you are grasping for. Abortion as birth control, or as a way to systematically eliminate a non preferred child, is not going to win a lot of hearts and minds. And it shouldn't.

If an innocent baby isn't safe in the womb, why is your life safe? Surely you don't think you're particularly unique or useful if a baby with far more potential future value to society than a 50 something year old man is not?

There is a reason that the GOP in 2020 among ALL of the major offices simply did NOT want to investigate the 2020 election and that includes judges as well. That suggests the key players at the state level were compromised in some way.

Perhaps, it is that both GA and AZ are key human trafficking hubs and somehow that is tied into the political system in some way or that foreign trade (China in the case of GA and Mexico in the case of AZ) caused big CoC funders to pull the GOP officeholder's strings to get rid of Trump. Maybe a combination of all things but unanimity of GOP officeholders in both states ignoring a winning popular bipartisan message of election integrity makes me think something is rotten there.

637 the abortion issue is not about compromising with the left, it is reading the polls about what people (voters) want. Making first term abortion illegal is not popular, stopping second term is a little popular, stopping third term is very popular.

PP is about minority genocide for the benefit of the elite class. They also will have the "wrong sort" of whites/hispanics go die, but mostly its minorities.

642 I have a Moosberg 88 "special purpose cruiser". Name is appropriate. Wife will not shoot it. Good friend of mine who also enjoyed shooting 44 mag said it was simply not fun to shoot. You just gotta be ready when it goes bang. I love it.
At 7 yds I'd say it leaves about a 12 in pattern with bird shot. Would be more than happy to verify that again with pics. Hell, I could send several pics using several different shotguns. Love em.

644 I get paid over $85 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless.
