Astonishing Tales of the Sea Cafe

morayeels.jpg

High five.

Dolphins and a cat rubbing up on each other.

Highland cows are cute and I would like to pet some.

Dog being a nice foster dad to ducklings. Or maybe he's a pedophile groomer; I'm not sure. I prefer the nice interpretation. But I've always been naive.

Kitty jumps over dog.

Big baby.

This dog is amazing.

When the girl starts messing up your Man Cave.

I'm sure the new girl knows what she's doing.

Cute little visitor at the door.

Dog and seal make friends.

Pretty wild: A pair of orcas repeatedly charge and ram a boat.

This ship was also attacked by killer whales, this time by a pod of about 20 of them.

Here's a more peaceful encounter between an orca and a dumb hippie who's really looking to lose an arm.

A crocodile's eye.

Is there something behind me?

I don't like this one, but if you want to see the absolute size and power of a killer whale, watch one cruise right up to the very edge of a beach and absolutely demolish a fully grown adult seal. I don't like seeing seals get eaten but man, this is monster of a predator.

Rescuing a beached sea turtle.

More orcas pursuing a boat. I no longer assume they just want to play like dolphins do.

These seals are amazingly fast and incredibly brazen about jumping up on boats and demanding humans give them treats. They're practically muggers! This obviously isn't their first rodeo.

I linked this before but... there's just something about it.

12 ||Historians in Birkenhead are hoping to uncover the mystery of why the U-boat U534 disobeyed orders to flee Germany in the dying days of the Second World War after unsealing hundreds of objects from the boat for the first time in 80 years.

They have opened dozens of boxes of artefacts found aboard the submarine, which is believed to have been scuttled by its crew after coming under attack from British aircraft off the coast of Denmark.

There are various theories as to what U534 was doing, including that it may have been carrying top-secret torpedo technology to Japan or even the US as part of a defection plan.||

When I was 15 we went looking for abalone during a very low tide. I stuck my arm under a good sized rock to feel for an abalone and suddenly something very sharp grabbed one of my finger tips and wouldn't let go. I jerked my arm out from under the rock. I had a 1 inch gash on the fleshy side of the finger and tooth marks on the nail. A moray got me. Took 3 stiches to close the gash and I still have the scar from well over 29 years ago.

67 It does appear that the dogma these crazed religious maniacs are operating under is that we all are "trans" so we don't need any counseling; we all should have trans surgery, and should be rushed through the process before we have any evil doubts sent by devils.

Posted by: Ace
-----------

From last Saturday: If you stretch the logic of (the textbook's) two creepy premises...

1. There are as many genders as stars in the sky
2. Transgender are people who are a different gender that doctors and parents thought they were at birth since babies can't talk

Then guess what? EVERYONE is "transgender". Because if there are as many genders as stars in the sky, then there's no way parents and doctors will guess the star correctly. This coincides snugly with the "everyone is gay" and "everyone is a pedo" movements, both of which come from the same source.

81 I did not have fun spinning buffalo either. Very short staple. I've spun some yak in a blend. It's usually too expensive to spin alone. I like Icelandic wool. Very long staple and dual coated. They used to take the short fine stuff and spin it for next to the skin items. Long hair was used for weaving. If you blend the two, it makes good outerwear. I do have some handspun socks, but mostly use commercial yarns.

90 YTube has videos of sea otters jumping onto boats in order to escape the orcas. The orcas will circle the boat. Some will lift themselves up as high as they can get and peak into the boat, looking for the otter. The otter just hides and tries to stay away from the humans and not get eaten by the orcas.

104 As a result of a father in the military, I got to experience the joy of school integration in both Latino and Black community contexts. Brown may have forced that issue and I was bussed in one of those situations, but the root problems were the result of the early signs of the destruction of the family caused by LBJ and the Dems in the 60s. Better than half the kids of the ethnic groups were already feral. The game was already over by the late 60s - our overall culture can take a lot of hits, but specific parts of it are fragile and can be broken quite quickly. The gay agenda in attacking children is a rerun of the Great Society playbook.

105 Anne Heche was always a weirdo actress. Turns out today she crashed her mini Cooper into the garage of a house. People attempted to help her but she managed to drive away. She then crashed into another house, ignited a fire, and was taken by ambulance to a hospital with severe burns. (The house burned down.) The article said she was "incubated" and in critical condition, I assume they mean intubated. Can't test her for drugs or alcohol in that state.

How weird is that? Some poor family gets to tell everyone they meet for the rest of their lives, "Anne Heche burned down our house."

I'm not sure the advantage - I think a creator would have to let us know. This morning, someone posted a 20 minute film taken in various German cities in May, 1945. Most of them are in varying states of rubble, but even then, you could tell that they must have been beautiful before we proceeded with our aerial renovation. My overwhelming thought was "why the hell did you do this? You would have been the unquestioned leaders of Europe and probably the world."

Try dicing up a can of Spam instead. It is food of the gods.

Unfortunately they are the sort of gods worshiped near standing stones on blasted heaths, and ruined chapels in dark, twisted woods.

that's the kind of bag I want. I do not want to have to be in the middle of a large park to practice.

And have kids throw rocks, and dogs bark.

They did in the 1450s or 1550s maybe, but in the late 1700s early 1800s everyone was marching to and fro over it without a peep. First the French one way, then for gods sake the Russians under Suvarov the other way, then Nappy was back in 1800s to blitz across it into Italy for the closer. No issues at all from frisky Swiss.
