Top Story

  • Yes, Virginia, the FBI is reading Twitter. (The Verge)

Anything that allows them to bring high-profile cases without leaving the sofa, up to and including making them up, not that they need to in this case.
So what have we learned here, friends? First of all, don't do illegal things. Second, don't do them on a public blockchain where anyone can look. Third, Coinbase definitely reads crypto Twitter. Fourth, so do the feds. Fifth, when one of your employees is indicted for wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, the most important time to note that tokens aren't securities is right after the indictment is unsealed.

  • SEC lists nine crypto tokens as securities following Coinbase insider trading charges. (The Block)

Instead, shoot a Greyhound Bus to the moon. Packed with all the boxes that need to be checked. Fill the bus up with the peoples, surround it in plastic wrap to keep it airtight...aim the bus at the moon and BLAMMMMMO,

Getting backs gonna be a bitch, but they'll have enough big brains on the moon to figure it out.

I'm running a bit . . . early! Which is by design. When I leave I'll have time to gas up the car. I saw an independent station here yesterday with $3.99 regular. My regular station with the E0 gas I feed the Buick may very well have followed suit -- and the E0 is only .05-.10 more usually.

22 Back in 2012, the CIA was finally forced to release the 377 'keywords' (includes phrases) that they monitor on US phones and social media. One of the programs they used for this was called Raptor, though I'm reasonably sure it has a predecessor and successor version. Are they monitoring what words we use? YES.

Because of course they do. Spying on US citizens? Fuggitaboudit. Back when I first learned about the keyword phrases, I liked to open a phone convo with "nuclear weapons are cool". "Anthrax is my favorite band."

I wonder how I wound up with an SSSS designation on my boarding pass. 'Tis a mystery. But here is why I did it -- I don't like it when the gubmint breaks the Constitution and spies on our asses. Even yours.

Call it a personal flaw.

Artemis I is the first of three missions that will culminate with NASA landing the first woman and first person of color on the Moon.

Sarah Brightman used to write some spacey music and there was talk of her taking some space mission ages ago. I think she found out some actual preparation was required for a 3g launch and the talk went away.

It might be something as simple as lint building up in the charging port. On my phone the charger cable end wouldn't seat all the way. Try teasing out any debris with a toothpick or a "pick" of some kind. I used one of those precision eyeglass screwdrivers.

Posted by: Ciampino - what is a half Latinx and half Black called? at July 22, 2022 06:13 AM (qfLjt)

32 Well the battery life is only good for so long, the phone should not be obsolete because of it. But getting someone to replace it, is another matter. I replaced an iPhone battery once. I'd not care to repeat it.

The big killer, that makes them fail prematurely is heat. I've noticed some applications or activities will really cook the whole device. Not sure why, but if the phone is getting noticeably hot, shut the thing off. Streaming videos and things like that seem to be the worse offenders.

61 FBI were almost certainly not reading Twitter. Far too much effort required for that. No doubt coinbase reported the guy to the FBI. I’ve seen this happen in these kind of cases first-hand.

Remember that SEC were told point blank, with clear evidence, and on several occasions that Madoff was running a Ponzi scheme. They never went after him. He turned himself in after it all collapsed.

Actual law enforcement is a distant third consideration to the three-letter agencies. #1 is self-preservation. #2 is politically-motivated prosecution in service of democrats (since they’re the party supporting #1)
