Black Democrat Running to be Senator From Kentucky Wears Noose Around Neck to Accuse Rand Paul of Supporting Lynching

Remember, we have to monitor and deplatform conservatives for engaging in incendiary rhetoric.

Democrats, however, can use the most dangerously-provocative, race-warring, assassin-inspiring language and imagery they want. If it can inspire just one low-propensity Democrat voter to go to the polls, or one Democrat ballot-harvester to cheat for a Democrat, then it's all worth it.

In a provocative and controversial push, the Democratic Senate nominee who's challenging Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky in November's midterm election wears a noose in a new ad criticizing Paul's past opposition to a measure to make lynching a federal hate crime.
But the spot, by former state lawmaker Charles Booker, makes no mention that Paul later supported an updated anti-lynching bill that is now law.

Taking aim at Paul, a former Republican presidential candidate who's running this year for a third six-year term representing Kentucky in the Senate, Booker argues that the senator is "the person who single-handedly blocked an anti-lynching act from being federal law."
Paul in 2020 held up legislation that would have made lynching a federal hate crime, saying at the time he was worried it could be applied too broadly. But the senator went on to co-sponsor the Emmett Till Anti-lynching Act, which was authored by Sens. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and Cory Booker, D-N.J. The bill passed the Senate three months ago and is now federal law.

"In the end, I think the compromise language will hopefully keep us from incarcerating somebody for some kind of crime that's not lynching," Paul said in March in an interview with the Louisville Courier. "We just wanted to make sure that the punishment was proportional to the crime, and I guess it's just good news that it finally worked out."

In his spot, which contains a viewer discretion advisory, Booker charges that "the choice couldn't be clearer. Do we move forward together or do we let politicians like Rand Paul forever hold us back and drive us apart? In November, we will choose healing. We will choose Kentucky."

The status of the peasantry depends on the power of the local nobility, whereas slaves you own free and clear. The peasants in Europe didn't get broadly enserfed until well after the fall of Rome. Slavery domestically was not terribly useful for the Nords domestically but they enslaved anyways.

If you recall, Senator Kamala Harris, along with Sens. Tim Scott and Corey Booker, proposed the bill again but it expanded rights for the LGBTQ etc. communities. (And then Jussie Smollett got overly involved in the politics.)

It's gonna be a long, hot summer for sure.

The Tuskegee Institute has recorded the lynchings of 3,446 blacks and the lynchings of 1,297 whites, all of which occurred between 1882 and 1968 (with 142 in Kentucky)

So this guys uncles accounted for 3 of the 142 over 86 years?
Doubtful, really doubtful.

363 For the record, his maternal side grandfather was born in 1929 and his other grandparents in 1939 / 40, 1941, and 1942. The maternal-side grandfather grew up in Quitman, Miss. about 25 miles south of Meridian; he relocated to Louisville ca. 1955. The other three were born in Louisville and lived their lives there. His mother and father were Louisville born and bred as well.

A man named Will Kantelhner IV has assembled a helpful database of lynchings and adjacent phenomena in Kentucky from 1877 to the Present. There hasn't been a lynching in Kentucky since 1934. Over the period running from 1911 to 1934, about 15 blacks were lynched in the state per this database, or less than 10% of the blacks recorded to have been lynched since the end of Reconstruction.

364 If any of those lynched in Kentucky since 1877 were his relatives, they'd have to have been in his great-grandparents' generation or farther back. One other thing, all the lynchings recorded in Kentucky between 1911 and 1934 were in non-metropolitan counties of which none had a population in 1910 over 35,000. About half had black populations between 10% and 25% of the total in 1910, about half had black populations under 6%. This fellow Booker is the scion of a family which has 80 years in Louisville at least. The number of lynchings recorded in Jefferson County, Ky since 1877 has been...zero.
