Barnette said she was "not with the Proud Boys" but was "out there because I wanted to hear what the president had to say." "As a law-abiding American citizen, I had every right to go to a rally in support of my president. That is what I was doing there," the conservative commentator asserted. "We had a wonderful time. We prayed. We listened to what the president had to say. We hung out." "We walked and sang songs, and then we got on our bus and left and came back home," Barnette added. Hannity did yeoman's work in the 90s and the 00s putting (and keeping) FOX on the map. When there was only one non-left-leaning network on the air, he was largely responsible for keeping it there, and he deserves our thanks and gratitude. He deserves the millions he made in that service.
That said, he's an unlistenable, ineducable doofus - and always has been. After 2020, the best service he could have done was move to a fledgling network like Newsmax or OAN and get them visibility. Once you saw that he was staying, you know where he stands now - and it's not on our side.

I went to a college for my freshman year before transferring out to go the college I actually wanted to attend (didn't get in out of high school - my grades were too bad). I graduated from the second college. The first college still routinely mails me for donations and to invite me to events as an alumnus. I am *not* an alumnus. I just attended there for a bit. By generous literal definition, I suppose this qualifies but it is not the way people typically use that word.
Is this just about money, or has the word's practical definition expanded over the past few years without my noticing?

I genuinely don't know much about the Proud Boys, but the uncharitable insinuations seem to try to cast them as "white nationalists." That seems to present a sort of dilemma with this situation, though:
either a) Barnette didn't associate with them, in which case it's a complete non sequitur to even mention the fact they were both at the same event or b) she did associate with them in which case...well, maybe they're not quite what the MSM is trying to have us believe. (shocking I know!)

I think there's a big timing issue here. Barnett wasn't a thing until 2 weeks ago. She was an also ran. The race had been a two-man race since the one guy dropped out (Trump's first endorsement, right?). Then, all of a sudden, she's a close third place in a winner take all situation.
If her polling had appeared two months ago, it might have changed some of the calculus. As it is...two weeks before the election, is it wise to drop your endorsement that you've held for months because someone who could be a flash in the pan suddenly appeared right before the election?
If I lived in PA, I'd probably vote for Barnett, but nothing about Trump's Oz endorsement, or his keeping with it, seems all that mysterious to me.

It's really not that hard to understand, Oz and Trump are friends, Oz was a big supporter of alternative medicines, ie, HCQ and Ivermectin, did trials and gave Trump support during the Plandemic.
Trump believes if he can push Oz over the line and to a Senate seat, he'll have a reliable ally when he ascends The Throne in 24.

As far as PA is concerned, I don't know who to support. Oz seems like a joke, but Trump picked him for some reason. Kurt Schlichter prefers McCormick, about whom I know nothing. Barnette came from nowhere, and yes, there is a tendency on the part of many conservatives to apotheosize any conservative minority. I don't know if she's the real thing, or one of those.
It's a tough call, because what we're really arguing is about who is the most electable conservative candidate. We don't need any more witches. Who that person is, I have no idea.

MSM had me convinced a lot of blacks had gone Muslim, but as of just a couple years ago they were only under 2% self identified as Muslim, majority was Christian (about same percent as whites, ~75-80% iirc). The small college, now university Barnette seems to have spent her time was at first a Baptist college, then separated the "academic" side. I think that is where her MBA is probably from, did not find that detail though.

Yeah, it was a joke. It was also to be like a young KoC. Just kids helping out. There were terrible attacks on campaign rallies where leftists would beat people bloody and the "law" would just stand by and sneer. So the proud boys were part of the pushback. But everything about the Proud Boys is hatchet jobs, name-calling smears and guilt by association. Person X, Y, or Z of the PB was once on a 4Chan platform so the organization is "racist" etc despite having a person of color as it's President (who was also on the FBI payroll).
And I would bet a large sum that the majority of any (rare) "racist" messaging by Proud Boys members was similarly funded by the FBI, so as to serve it's larger purpose of discrediting the organization, and the even larger purpose of disarming conservatives from the ability to defend themselves against leftist thugs who get their marching orders from Democrats.

I like Hannity for what it's worth. He did the heavy lifting and investigating during the Obama years when no one else would, also did great work on Biden.
And was supportive of Trump, when few were. Esp the GOPe.
Yeah, he's repetitive, but I see him as training wheels or conservatism. We all know the basics, so he can bore us, but not everyone does.
Esp. Trump-curious Progtards who are now seeing what getting every single;e little bit of their Democrat dreams passed does to their lives, children, and the economy.
Hannity is right at their speed.
