The DOJ representative, Assistant Deputy AG Olsen, just kept claiming to have no information about anything, despite having been repeatedly asked the same questions for the past year. He's perjuring himself or making himself question-proof by keeping "clean" of useful information, which would be a kind of obstruction of Congress.
The FBI bureaucrat, on the other hand, all but admits that Ray Epps is an FBI agent (small a -- agent as in "someone acting at the direction of the FBI") and that there were other FBI agents present also encouraging the violence. Here's what we know about January 6, 2021.
Trump called a peaceful, constitutionally-guaranteed rally to highlight widespread, systematic election irregularities, which the media and the Democrats refused to honestly address.
At the direction of the Democrats, the FBI
1) placed pipe bombs around DC
2) embedded assets in the crowd strictly to antagonize and encourage violence-- even some directed to actually commit crimes to "prime the pump."
3) planted false warnings and gave fabricated reports of potential violence and extremist groups to the Capitol Police and the media.
4) falsified incident and after-action reports, scubbing their actors while directing the entirety of the crimes on innocent Americans.

He has a minimum number of contacts with citizens with an expected number of citations issued per contacts made. And because of the legal education, they are primed for corruption. It takes a strong moral character to withstand the corrosive effect of a law degree. Naw. The FBI has always been over hyped. They're not as smart as their PR claims.
They're mean and can be vicious but they're not clever about it. They're amateurs mostly. You can find some that know how to stick it to someone. Most FBI Agents have a college degree but that can be just about anything. So a lot of these guys are just over educated hall monitors with a badge and a rep that exceeds their ability.
