So I look at the top story at The Daily Mail and the panic over Omicron. Their visual shows 830 current cases nationwide, but they seem panicked that Biden is waiting until Tuesday for his new mandates to kick in. It's to early for math, but 830 out of 330 million is what percent and why should that scare me?

Why can't you leave other people alone? Wear six masks, wrap yourself in plastic and stop telling other people how to live and what to do? The rest of us would like to go on with our lives now. If you're afraid, then Stay in your basement until you feel safe again. If you think that's mean or selfish, then I think you're silly and fascistic. Seriously, when will it be safe enough? Here's what I want to know about hospital beds: what's the baseline? What percentage of beds were occupied pre-Covid on average? Because my hunch is that hospitals don't normally have a lot of unused capacity in general because it doesn't make any sense to clean, heat/cool, keep in a state of readiness a bunch of real estate that isn't being used. Hospitals are businesses. They can't possibly have a huge amount of excess capacity.

It was something about powering the compressor engines that push the natural gas through the pipeline. They used to be run off of the natural gas in the pipeline (metered and consumption costed out) but regulation changes required a 'clean electric' powering of the compressor motors/engines. They had been nat gas powered turbines that were replacing the 1940s - 1950s era one-cylinder piston engines where one turbine could do the work of several piston engines. That's a shame about Kroger's going all woke. They're our usual go-to store. There's not much of a choice here either. There are two Aldi's but the selection is limited and varies from week to week. In the little town down the road there's a small store but they sell "seconds" and most everything is at or very near the expiration date. I think there's a Walmart Neighborhood something-or-other but we try to refrain from the Walmartions.

Social media is a huge part of it. Kids want attention, acceptance, and validation. Some find it in oddball gender expression.
-- Also, they can't accomplish anything of worth anymore. They're not allowed to. They've been all beaten into the square hole public education demands--no one too smart, no one can fail; follow our rules or we'll ruin your future; don't think, don't question. None of them have jobs, all of them brainwashed to believe their whole future lies in one narrow path-- the same dull, boring, depraved life of their teachers. So, the only way they can stand out is ... still within the narrow corrupted concept of "happy" forced on them by the left. at_ClayTravis Pro athletes, given how almost all of them are vaxxed, actually provide a perfect control group to illustrate that the covid "vaccine" won't end covid infections at all, no matter how many people get it. Covid is here forever. Period. Time to accept it and live life normally. Pro athletes are far younger and healthier than the general public and they are still testing positive at an all time high rate. Fortunately because of their youth and health they have virtually zero risk. But if "vaccine" is failing for them it's likely failing for everyone. It's a cultural attack. It's not a coincidence that things like CRT, a marxist political movement, the Squad, explicitly marxist political movement, gender fluidity crap and everything coming from the far left are all happening at once. Marxism has been seeping into our cultuel and into the Democrat party since the end of WWII and the Frankfurt School infiltrating some of our most prestigious educational institutions like Columbia and U of Chicago. Look at where Obama went to school and ended up teaching. Not a coincidence. Ask Frank Marshall. It's all of a piece and it has infected virtually every institution. Watched a documentary recently where they talked about the dangers of dating sites and this was the #1 reason. Gave an example of a guy who was living a double life of dating hundreds of women on dating sites, while also being married. Family had no idea of the double life. He was only caught when he ended up raping multiple women. Another case in the documentary was about a serial killer who was using dating sites and then killed multiple women who rejected him. He only was caught when one of the women fought back and then did detective work on her own to tie him to murders of other women who were not as lucky as her to get away. And the message of the documentary is that these online dating sites (they named Match-dot-com) have no liability. The girl who was raped reported it to Match and told them to get him off the site. They didn't, he raped again, but they were not liable due to some technicality. Posted by: Clyde Shelton at December 19, 2021 09:04 AM (Do5/p) 304

Having traveled the east coast and into the midwest the thriving communities I see are Hispanic. They like the downtown small stores and to be left alone. West NY across from Manhattan even has a rather chaotic bus system, but the rides are a dollar and the streets are clogged with the little buses. There is a city run bus system that looks mostly empty and cost far more for a ride...Try to find a downtown parking spot when the stores are open, not a problem in most downtown's where you pay 10 dollars just for an hour. And only a few hair saloons and nail saloons and a dollar store.
