Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | One Of The Original "Woke" Corporations Is At It Again: Race-Baiting Ben & Jerry's Lies About Kyle RittenhouseWhat a shock! A couple of leftists figure out a way to make a lot of money (how very socialist of them!) by selling ice cream along with a large dose of agrarian leftist bullshit (no rBGH in our ice cream!). They then cashed out 20 years later and sold their company to Unilever for $326,000,000, and stipulated that their company remain dedicated to the proposition that socialism is the greatest good. Well...socialism and a healthy reading from the progressive playbook of lying and straw men and stoking racial animus, not to mention vilifying the rich (except for Ben and Jerry, who are such good people!). But here they cross the line into dangerous territory. There is nothing subtle about their point that Kyle Rittenhouse is being favored by the capitalist system and its running-dog lackeys in the judiciary, and that a poor Black boy who did the same thing would have long ago been strung up under the oak tree in the town square. Ben & Jerry's blasted for spreading misinformation about Kyle Rittenhouse, inventing hypothetical scenario to bring race into the caseProgressive ice cream brand Ben & Jerry's dished out misinformation about Kyle Rittenhouse, plus completely invented a hypothetical scenario regarding the controversial shooting to racialize the powderkeg court case. The Vermont-based woke ice cream purveyor was called out for spreading a false narrative online. The Rittenhouse shooting has absolutely nothing to do with race since the shooter and all of those who were shot were white men. Without a racial angle to exploit, Ben & Jerry's dreamt up a completely hypothetical situation out of thin air that never actually happened to bring race into the picture. "The #RittenhouseTrial displays yet again that our 'justice' system is racist," the ice cream brand wrote on Twitter. "How would this trial be going if he was a Black 17 yr old that crossed state lines illegally carrying an AR-15 and shot 3 white protesters?"Boycott Ben & Jerry's. Boycott Unilever. Until these corporations feel real pain they will continue to cater to the worst excesses of a social-media-driven society run amok. Punish them, and reward corporations that remain relatively neutral. Yes, they may be difficult to find, but they exist. Besides, Ben & Jerry's ice cream isn't anything special, and the last time I ate some it was underwhelming. Hell, make your own! Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

_____________ Like that "poor" 18 year old black boy in TX, who took his gun to school and shot 4 classmates because he was angry over having been "bullied"? That "poor" black shooter who was almost immediately released to home confinement after posting a mere $75k bond -- after deliberately shooting 4 people, and not in self defense, but because he was angry? Yes, there certainly IS racial injustice in our legal system. But the benefit of that injustice does not inure to white defendants, but to blacks and leftist whites. I should look into shanking Unilever; this isn't the first time they've come up on the asshoe roll. Reviewing their brand portfolio it looks like Suave is my main point of exposure. Besides, Ben & Jerry's ice cream isn't anything special, and the last time I ate some it was underwhelming. Hell, make your own! Make Ice Cream Great Again! I have a half century old cook book and looked up an ice cream recipe from my youth. Milk and heavy cream. I got out my slide rule and determined that the fat percentage of the combination is virtually the same as good old 'Half and Half'. Discounting the cost differential (if there is any) it certainly makes it easier. Homemade vanilla extract - something else infinitely easy to make - and the ice cream is unbeatable. The Floyd "case" also had absolutely nothing to do with race, except for the racism, ignorance, bigotry, idiocy, and pathologies of the tens of millions of people and institutions in the country, who used it as an excuse to further degrade and the society.

Boycotts are rarely effective. A boycott in this case will do nothing. Ben & Jerry ice cream has long been aggressively Leftist. NPC messaging is practically the core of their brand.
Some of their customers are just LIVs, they couldn't care, and they just want their candy of choice. Many are virtue signaling NPCs. They eat it to show they are progressive and feel good about themselves, between boxes of wine and Paolo sessions. These are people who would buy a case if Unilever pledged to torture and kill a Trump voter for each carton sold. But the people who would be boycotting it (people on the Right) already do not purchase it, because they can't stand this politicized ice cream company. A boycott wouldn't be a real thing, here. Walmart makes a decent store ice cream that is inexpensive (well it was) and also will refreeze fairly well so it doesn't get all crunchy from too much water being in the original batch.
That means that you can get it soft enough to add some ingredients to it's Vanilla flaver (and it comes in 3 flavors of vanilla; plain, light, and bean). What I do is buy some fresh fruit (my favorite is red raspberry) and put that in containers that were used for cottage cheese (so you get a lid that seals) and you can put in how much you want, then refreeze it and it's pretty good. Giant Foods has a store ice cream in a gallon size that is creamier and the similar price (no 3 flavors) and you can do the same with it. To heck with Haagen Daaz and, B and J, and all the others which price out at 3-4 dollars for like a quart or less. Posted by: jakee308 at November 14, 2021 12:54 PM (Y79GB) 149

But the people who would be boycotting it (people on the Right) already do not purchase it, because they can't stand this politicized ice cream company. A boycott wouldn't be a real thing, here.
Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice Yup, the only way a boycott works is if it induces enough pain to force a change. Our side does not have many options to do so within the morals and civilizational structures we want to preserve. It's pretty much try to take over from within, which is hard, unpleasant, and time consuming. Real long game shit. It's always easier for wreckers. Look at Nike. That was probably the best chance we had for inducing pain. They stumbled but are still going full-on with their America-hating commie shit, instead of it's entire front office being reduced to slurping syphilitic dicks jabbed in their eye through rusty glory holes at dimly-lit truck stops. It's pretty local, but if anyone has an Ingles near them their house brand ice cream is fantastic. Not the mid-level stuff, either. Their cheapo bottom shelf option.

Boycotting might not work yet a company will run in fear from Leftists afraid of them screaming for a boycott.
Posted by: Skip at November 14, 2021 12: Not fear of boycotts. Most are itching to be thrown in that briar patch, and threats are just a nice excuse. The rest might actually be in real fear, but not of a boycott. They're afraid of the full Party apparatus. The media branding them Nazis. Targeting by the regulatory state. Tax audits. DoJ investigations. The whole magilla. There's a reason all large companies are loyal to the Party. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at November 14, 2021 01:01 PM (/KPLX) 165

>>>Lin Wood is suing to get Kyle's bail money returned to Wood and Binger wants it to go to Rosenbaum/Huber families and Grosskreutz, if Kyle found guilty.
_______________ Rosenbaum was shot while attacking Rittenhouse, screaming "f*ck you!" and "shoot me, n*gger!" in his face, and grabbing the barrel of his gun. Huber was shot while trying to decapitate Rittenhouse with a heavy skateboard. Grosskreutz was shot while pointing a loaded Glock at Rittenhouse's head and moving towards him. None of them deserve a damn dime, from Rittenhouse, or from Kenosha, or from anybody else. Grosskreutz has already filed a civil lawsuit against Kenosha for something like $10 million in damages for his GSW. His complaint conveniently left out the facts that, at the time he was shot, he was armed with a loaded Glock that he was carrying illegally, that he had chased Rittenhouse and pointed the Glock at his head, and that he was moving towards Rittenhouse with the loaded Glock pointed at his head when Rittenhouse shot him in self defense. The thing is... let's say a store loses a lot of one product, say Ben and Jerry's. They might be less inclined to keep buying it if it keeps getting trashed. This is how the left operates. They don't really give a shit about the store, its owner or the customers. They do give a shit about the product they hate. If enough of this particular product was ruined every fucking day to make the owners of Ben and Jerry's take note, well that'd be a win. I personally don't care if Kroger's takes a hit on the ice cream. If enough locations lost their stock of Ben and Jerry's they might quit stocking it, or at least look into why it keeps ending up on the floor in a puddle. They've removed other products for less. So fuck 'em.

Unilever is so huge. In this case I think it would be much better to demand that they dump Ben & Jerry's or Ben and Jerry's must issue an apology and make a donation to e.g. Judicial Watch than just silently stop buying all Unilever products.
This is not how I normally roll. Target announced "trannies can use the women's restroom" AS IF they could not before if they were really trans and not just perverts who would use that as an excuse, (and Target has private, aka 'family' bathrooms for anyone who might feel uneasy in the mens room but make gals uneasy using the women's room. I might have let that slide, I'm lazy, but Target then doubled down and called the young women who pointed out the dangers to them bigoted 'phobes. I haven't been in a Target since. Proctor and Gamble had the Gillette web ad painting normal males as bullies. I haven't bought Tide, Crest, Cascade or any Gillette product since and did send an email to P and G that I found that ad offensive and would boycott all their products and they should feature heroes like FireFighters or LEO and I might reconsider. Their FF/LEO ad painted the first responder as such a soyboi it just turned me off more. Posted by: PaleRider, cheerful clinger at November 14, 2021 01:27 PM (3cGpq) 259

That's the thing. It's very clearly marketed to affluent white hipsters for whom fancy packaging is everything. You can have the most underwhelming product available, but the consoomers will swear it's the Best Thing Evar because the disposable packaging has 5 different pastel colors and a logo in fancy lettering. My husband is Hispanic and has said that many ethnic Hispanics have a rule called "tortilla marketing". It posits that the more bland or underwhelming the packaging, the better the product. The name comes from tortilla packaging, where the best tortillas come in cheap plastic with only about three colors with a Mexican flag that looks like bad clipart and a brand name like "Olé" printed in generic lettering, while the worst have six different colors and "Alice's Gourmet Tortilla Wraps" in fancy lettering surrounded by art of fresh vegetables. B&J's entire schtick is very much tortilla marketing, just that the target demographic is the one that cares more about packaging than product. I'd boycott B&J except I've never bought any. Too much money for too little ice cream.

Nice work on the boycott announcement. Really like this and we need more of this from Ace.

I am very surprised the jewish business owner did not claim the jewish pedophile who was the first one shot. I mean what's sodomizing 5 male children against Tikkun Olam right?
