1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Sunday, September 26, 2021. On this day in 1905 Albert Einstein published the third of his Annus Mirabilis papers, introducing the special theory of relativity.

7 How much more frightening will this conspiracy get? Now, according to court documents reported by JusttheNews.com, we learn that The Dark Lord himself, George Soros, paid for his own investigator to work for the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee to plant the fake Trump-Russia story, and that then-Senator John McCain let him do it.

Nothing wrong with the Cap One credit card I used; my credit limit is much higher than my balance. We're talking $65 here. I've written to the seller who is very communicative, and doesn't understand it either.

I've put it through again, and we'll see. But anybody else have trouble on Etsy?

the country has changed so much and we as conservatives maybe didn't let it happen, but it happened either way.

I remember 20 years ago in London there was this edgy brand called FCUK. That logo was shocking although it was a UK company and the letters matched up. Today,we see masked saying "fuck Corona" or "fuck whatever" and we don't blink. The Overton Window has moved so far it is on the other guy's property. These leftists won, and it would take 50 wins in a row to even get it even close.

equity is retarded. I saw that from a few old timers many years ago and i legit questioned their motives. I think Ace brought this up, but a tell for a guy who is all in on equality is he likely was not that good to women folk.

When it comes to the military, I would like them to to 65 sit ups, 52 push ups,and the 2 mile is 15.52. I did it in 13.08 at my fastest and I was not a runner or athlete in any way. I could keep marching forward,I never fell out of a march. I promise you, a lot of studly types fell out of marches sooner or later.

But the Marines use Pull ups. Those legit suck. I did Marine Jrotc. Women simply can not do pull ups so they pretty much ended that requirement.

the US Army had a "pork chop platoon" as well. It was pretty much anyone considered unfit for further training. The USMC took if further. They had a rule where even if a Marine made the standards, but didn't have the profile of a Marine, they could cashier him. I know today that seems unfair, but everything seems unfair these days. Men had to send other packing and they did not like it.

90 and since I was ARNG, and a life time military brat who also went to military school. When someone asks me if I am a vet, I say no. It pisses me off because I think it is unfair. I was spitting military at 6 or 7. But My service was reserves no matter how long it lasted. So we can't call ourselves vets. It has been my entire life but I won't use a term I am not entitled to.

An active soldier who served two years is a vet. An ARNG or Reserve soldier who served 19 years is not considered a veteran unless he was activated for federal service outside of his normal commitment.

I am not saying that is wrong mind you. i am not saying i need more plaudits for my service though I joined at 17. My point is I think people don't always understand the term "veteran". That term has a very specific meaning and it doesn't always mean served in combat.

if someone asks me if I am a veteran, I tell them no. I am former service.

McCain led the intell Senate panel then.

Bwahahaha. Would almost feel sorry for Harry, but for the fact that it was obvious to everyone that she's a nasty, hypocritical, social-climbing bitch who was out for his money and title all along, and he was just too dim-witted to see it.

97 veteran is a US government term. If you call someone a veteran, it means you owe them something. It is not surprising that the last thing the US government wants to do is open up the number of veterans. I hope this is a learning commentary. In no way do I consider myself a veteran. It is just weird because we wore the same US Army patch and trained at the same places. We raised the same hands.

I will tell you a weird one. I had a buddy, a really good buddy. He failed out because he was too fat to go to AIT. He received a letter thanking him for his service in Iraq. We both served in the Desert Storm era but he was too fat to go to AIT, so they let him go.

I served it out for six years plus two of IRR. What really got me was a few years ago. I was chatting with a wine guy, a guy that had a winery. He gave a discounts for vets. I explained my situation. I told him I was military Millitary bRAT MY entire life. I told him my parents are both buried in Arlington National Cemetery. I told him I went to military school for high school, and joined the ARNG at 17 with my parents consent.

we had a pga event that was supposed to support vets.I ran into scalpers who sold the vet tickets that gave you food, a free drink, access to a pavillion etc. I told them no chance Lance.I know the fifty or so before me and the fifty or so behind me went all in.

I chatted with some vets there and they said I was a vet. But the US gov says I am not a vet. When the church asks for vets to stand up,I do not do so. I am never going to steal valor,i would rather die.

But I do think many don't understand the term. I also think the gov has mistreated Guard and reserve. The reason is not that they don't respect their service, the reason is they don't want to owe them something. IF i harp on this it is because I have done my research and to the feds, that is the only thing the term Vet means. To every other American, it means those who served. Hence the issue.

Getting caught sneaking a piece of pie in the mess hall. I remember that for some reason. About 5 drill sergeants came in all strack and marched in, a crowd of 100s sitting down eating and zeroed in on ONE guy, and he regretted that. They yelled at him for about 5 minutes. He was on the fatboy program. Then they took him outside and smoked his ass for about a half hour and helped him burn off those calories.

163 @147 Quint everyone who serves 180+ days is a veteran regardless of wartime service.

Posted by: blaster at September 26, 2021 07:16 AM (mbFEM)

i am not sure about your numbers though they might add up. i am not new to this btw, so I doubt I have it wrong. Basically anyone who served on active duty is a veteran.

If your were in the national Guard or reserves, you had to be activated for service other than your annual commitment and basic and AIT training.

the funny thing is the ARNGh as been in every war, not some, but all of them. Remember Tom hank and the 29th division? That was my division.

i don't doubt you blaster, that is pretty much what I was saying. A guy could serve two years active and be a veteran. A guy could serve 19 years in the reserves and not be considered a veteran. And to be honest, as a military brat who has seen this his entiree life. If you can't say you were a veteran, to most civilians, it is like you never served,.

164 The reason that women were exempt from Selective Service is the combat arms exclusion which no longer exists. It is sex discrimination for women not to register. I have never actually met a feminist who believes women should be included though.

I have long held the Left would kill Selective Service before requiring it for women. We shall see

166 I did crossfit for a year before joining the army, this was overkill for my softer MOS. In basic training there was a skinny guy who starting out couldn't do 10 pushups. I had contempt for him, rightly so.

167 NYT:
The new information was revealed at a time when misinformation continues to circulate among far-right commentators and websites accusing the F.B.I. of having used informants or agents to stage the attack on Jan. 6. And the records show that the informant traveled to Washington at his own volition, not at the request of the F.B.I.

Bought and Paid For FIB informant working on his own volition manages somehow to get DC and Jan 6 and then manages to get into Capital.

169 i don't care. I have the uniforms that prove otherwise. I don't want veteran status, certainly I wont claim something untrue. But asI have said over and over,I doubt most Americans can describe it exactly.

And they don't keep it away from NG and reserve types out of a sense of military honor. They do it because calling someone a veteran to this government is a liability. I am not beeing cheeky here, that is exactly what the term means to them.

I've generally liked Kurt. But someone said-- and this has really stuck in my craw because I feared it too close to true--"every Schlicter article should come with a disclaimer at the top that he doesn't believe a word he writes."

I think that seals it. Kurt, for all his talk, doesn't believe a word he writes in support of fighting back. He's a big-goverment toady through and through.

You may have that confused with the Amazon remake where Einstein is replaced by a refugee trans from Zambia, and it was a white liberal studies doctorate candidate who was oppressed by the patriarchy. Instead of the moonshot, she saved all of humanity by single handedly creating the mRNA Clot Shot.

193 Years ago, there used to be a sea story in Team circles (i.e., prob not true). At a Team reunion, a crowd of younger SEALs were comparing combat pay time from their various deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. They asked one old-timer how much combat time HE had, and he answered, "Only about four hours, I'm afraid. Then I got wounded and sat out the rest of the war." When they smirked and asked where he had served for all of four hours, he said, "Omaha Beach."

that is a tough one. I recall the VA making a special allotment for "Vietnam Era"vets. Look I respect other's service. Not everyone is on the tip of the spear.

My dad is buried in Arlington for a reason. I have the bullet that went through both his legs. Sure it is weird he saved it but was the type of man he was. I know many want to glomb onto the Vietnam stuff. The funny thing is it was a tiny crew in many ways. The guys that really played a part pretty much know each other.

The Civil War is similar in some ways. The Army of Northern Virginia was about 70 thousand at its greatest. it was a tiny group that fought for a country and in the end lost. But very few can say they were part of that group. you are talking a tiny percentile. Same with Vietnam. The left said it was the end of the world. But really it was the same guys over and over.

A) I have nothing against women in the service. I know they have served as long as this country has existed. We have all seen the shows about nurses in Korea,Vietnam, etc.

B) I joined the ARNG in 1986. I joined the infantry. I legit never saw a female in basic or AIT even though they were split by a year. I never served with a female in six years plus two of IRR. The one time that was not the case was when I needed to see a battalion level medic for a tic check. All joking aside, that was the only time I served with females. And my service ended in the nineties.

The Party Military has only served the MIC for three or four generations and has accomplished little else but provide an alternate temporary lifestyle for young people who didn't go into trades or college.

I have never known the border, or any other former US asset being protected by the Party Military. Instead the Party Military is an auxiliary to hundreds of other nations' own security.

So would a draft continue the tradition of taxpayers funding a foreign nation's security and various pension programs?

One,would be the uber young Navy girl that got so exited when she told others to watch how I would transfer my paraplegic mom from her wheel chair to a hospital bed.

The other was the Marine Major, a black woman who handed me the cases from the firing party after my dad's funeral. The flag went to my mom,I got the casings.
