Rose McGowan Endorses Larry Elder, Gives Joint Press Conference Detailing Gavin Newsom's Scheme to "Bribe" Her Into Going Easy on Harvey Weinstein
Likely Related: McGowan Has Previously Said a Weinstein Crony Offered Her One Million Dollars in Exchange

#BelieveAllWomen.

#MeToo activist Rose McGowan detailed how Gov. Gavin Newsom's wife attempted to "bribe" and silence her from speaking out about fallen film mogul Harvey Weinstein's sexual abuses at a joint press conference Sunday afternoon with California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder.

...

McGowan discussed her allegations that Jennifer Siebel Newsom tried to bribe her in order to suppress the bombshell Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse scandal. Ms. Newsom has tried to deny allegations, but there is written evidence of the communication happening the way McGowan said it did.

That written evidence is here. Gavin Newsom's wife essentially confesses the basics of Rose McGowan's story, while disputing her characterization of it.

In fact, McGowan's tweet has embedded in it a reproduction of an email message from Ms. Newsom herself saying, in her own words, that she reached out to McGowan personally and specifically mentioned Boies, asking "what if anything Boies could do for her that would help her to heal."

The wider context is that McGowan claims that the Newsoms are trying to get her to drop her claim that Ms. Newsom and possibly other women have infiltrated Weinstein victims' groups in order to gather information, orchestrated by Boies.

Note that Clinton and Gore lawyer David Boies was Harvey Weinstein's lawyer.

McGowan has previously said that someone -- as of yet unidentified -- contacted her to offer one million dollars to remain quiet about Harvey Weinstein.

McGowan alleged that Siebel Newsom sent her an email in which she '[implied] that she was a Weinstein rape victim to get into this private group of Weinstein rape victims,' before asking what Boies, Weinstein's attorney, had to do so McGowan wouldn't come forward.

In 2017, the former Charmed actor said someone close to Weinstein offered her $1million if she agreed to sign a non-disclosure agreement. McGowan says she refused the offer. It is unclear if Newsom's wife was the one who made the offer.

Back to the press conference:

McGowan kicked off the press briefing by telling the audience that she no longer considers herself to be a Democrat: "I finally came to a point where I am not a Democrat, because everyone who has harassed, stalked, and stolen from me in my time in Hollywood has been a Democrat."

On Elder himself, McGowan commented, "Do I agree with him on every issue? No. So what?"

"He is the better candidate. He is the better man," McGowan said.

"I used to listen to Larry Elder after I'd drive home from the set. Sometimes I'd even pull over and use a fake name, usually Tracy, to call in. And from him, I learned about the corruption of the teachers union in this state," she added.

Update: Disclosure forms establish that David Boies sent pricey gifts to Gavin Newsom.

At right about the time Newsom's wife posed as a rape survivor to get to McGowan.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that according to financial disclosures, Newsom has accepted pricey bottles of wine from Boies, including in 2017, roughly six weeks after the publication of a New Yorker report that Boies tried to dig up dirt on Weinstein accusers, including McGowan.

Fox News reached out to Newsom's office for a response to the allegations but they did not immediately respond.

10 I hope she doesn't become a Republican. A Hollywood woman with a megaphone shouting down the elite class could make for some entertainment, though - until they take away her megaphone, which will happen about thirty seconds after Newsom miraculously blows all expected results out of the water and is retained with 60%+ of the vote.

I have no children (fortunately for them), so take this for what it is worth - the money, if large enough, can allow you to fly back and forth regularly to see your kids, but do you want to spend all your time on flights?

As well, you'd be in Vegas more often that not, especially at the beginning when you are trying to get your sea legs and determining whether or not they're jacking you around and going to dump you within a year.

And what do you mean by "making things easier" for your kids when you're out there? That they wouldn't be subject to tension between mom and dad?

Frankly, I would stay, but that's me. You must make up your own mind.

An image of Joe Biden with a group of kids wearing pro-Trump gear circulated on social media after his trip to Shanksville, Pennsylvania on Saturday to commemorate the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Two young girls standing to the right of the president were wearing Trump hats, one was blue with the former president's slogan 'Make America Great Again,' and the other was red with 'Trump' in white. A third child to Biden's left was donning a red shirt with Trump's face on it with the words 'I'll be back' along with the former president's bold, recognizable signature.

96 A big part of the problem with modern politics is all the foundations have been removed. What I mean by that are the necessary and natural "feedback mechanisms" have been disabled, that allows for defective individuals, laws, or policies to be removed or rendered null and void. It is permanent "Heads We Win, Tails You Lose" in Washington City, and elsewhere.

The old saying used to be "Politicians are like Baby Diapers - they should be changed often, and for exactly the same reason."

Gruesome should be removed just on General Principles. Just Do It, let's get the mechanisms of Representative Government back in the hands of the people. Because the phony balogna stuff ain't workin'. It's all gaslighting and crooked elections, manufactured consent, and Fake News.

108 Just be ready folks, especially good yeoman folks on the populist right who live in red states outside of the glorious revolutionary people's republic of Commiefornia...Newsom will not be recalled and it probably wont even be close, like over 55% NO.

Dems outnumber Reps in the state legislature 91-28 (with one Rino/Indie). U.S. House Dems outnumber Reps 44-11. There's twice as many registered Dems as Reps in the state and soon, Independents (who skew Demo in CA by almost a 3:1 margin) will pass/outnumber Repubs.

And it doesnt help that most (but thankfully not all) Republican members of Congress and the state Leg. are tone deaf, communicatively incapable, culturally unaware auto mall owners or gigantic multi-generation corporate farmers who are already worth millions and so don't have the necessary fire in the belly to take on the Dem machine.

She's a looker alright. That's a pretty thin reed to build a marriage on, but for all I know, she's a nice person. As a general rule, though, I assume hot women are problematic, not because they're asshoes by nature, but because they can be. At least until they're 40 or so.

185 Hardly an economic wasteland. That's part of the point. Despite the horrendous misrule, predatory and stupid and failing public sector, and social idiocy, the natural economic potential here keeps asserting itself. The vapid Newsom brags about innovation, but it has zero to do with current policy, it's entirely inertial, from a previous era.

State crushes manufacturing or other real industries (it allows ag to continue, with tremendous needless hobbling policies, because $$), leaves "new" or innovative industries alone. They were mostly already here, a legacy of the earlier CA magic. Inertia.

But the (sort of puzzling, in some ways) tremendous economic/growth power of those sectors pays for everything, including 1/3 of America's welfare burden (something close to that).

I do think the way a recall is staged, it puts the person in question at a severe disadvantage. You really have to love the person in office to go out and vote "no"
on a recall. And there's a huge amount of ways a person can vote for "someone else" even if they don't necessarily hate Newsom.

I think what pulled the last recall over the finish line was when a somewhat credible Democrat (Bustamante) threw his hat in the ring. It opened the floodgates. I think Dems this time have kept out anyone to deligetimize it.

Elder has carefully avoided the taint of conventional GOP politics, to the extent he can (and to the extent such still even exists here, outside inland rural counties). Same model as Newsom, just as the other side.

262 IC, it's all sad familiar territory by now, but yeah, the compounded idiocy of a "vaccine" that's not a vaccine for a population cohort (kids) who are literally unaffected - and play no other major role - in an ILI epidemic is ..... beyond description, and applies to the whole country of course.

I noted the insane LAUSD policy up above.

But here in CA - and really much of the US, over the last 10-12 years - has seemed like a series of increasingly implausible "tests" in which more and more ridiculous policies are inflicted just to see if the populace will revolt over *anything*.

It sounds true because it's so...boring. It's mundane and by appearances is just...inconsequential. One person can potentially cause trouble for a very powerful and wealthy and generous political donor, so what would make her happy? Wanting someone happy is a good thing, right? Wanting someone to heal is a good thing, right? It's not a threat, it's a hand held out in compassion. Right?

I'll be clear that I believe her contextualizing of the oh-so-kind offer to let his woman be an intermediary for her, absolutely. It's as awful as it sounds.

But it also sounds like what anyone would consider normal business for people's who's influence is everything.

In the old, old days you wanted to be the wife of the chief, or the guy who was next in line.

And that is what women's genes tell them to look for even now. A few thousand years hasn't changed much.

Conversely men want "young and attractive".

Recall that Weinstein employed former Mossad security people who investigated and harassed victims to scare them into silence. Seem to recall that McGowan was arrested for some minor drug posession (the kind that is typically not prosecured). Not hard to imagine that Weinstein and team were working both angles - the friendly Newsome wife and the scary/stalking Mossad dudes. She rebuffed Newsom's wife, the story broke, McGowan was vocal and then. . . the arrest.

Just because she's crazy doesn't mean she hasn;t been worked over by Weinstein's team attempting to silence her.

If you are in California GO VOTE and go IN PERSON so that you can be told officially that you've already voted. They're going to need the data and reports on that, so if for no other reason at all, go to the poll and find out if a vote was recorded in your name or not.
