Oates challenges readers to question their ability to know a character, to know an author's intentions, even to know the self. Oates’s ideas about the fluidity of identity and the dangers of claiming "to know" an other or the self are explored in this story.

So she is telling her readers that they don't really know what they thing they know?

129 Jurassic Park 3 comes out this weekend. I think this is the "troll" phase of the marketing campaign.

Was cruising through the channel guide last night, there were four, count 'em, four different channels showing JP1 and all of them at the same time.

And yeah, we watched one of them. Was surprised to see Samuel L. Jackson in it smoking a cigarette inside a building!

I had that fun experience at Fossil Rim a few years ago. Sure, it was in an "enclosure" and we were outside the "enclosure." But seeing it that close, you realize it's only an "enclosure" because the rhino doesn't want to put forth the effort to make it *not* an enclosure.

Oates is quite clear in the preface to her book "Marya A Life" that the book is not autobiographical but it does resemble places and events and clearly states that the book is not autobiographical but how would one know if it is not possible to 'know' an other? So it could be autobiographical, maybe, if you want to think it is, or something.

That would have been '83 or '84.

This will be my fourth and probably last, from the sound of it. They are leaving the door open to doing something like a week at Massey Hall in Toronto. Toronto's not too far away for me, so you never know.

This "reverse time machine tour" is going to be so cool. The reviews are universally stellar.

A small army of stagehands dressed like the movers on the cover of Moving Pictures will be changing the staging to match the time period, as the songs go back through the years. By the end, they're back in a "high school gym" complete with amps resting on chairs.

For the back half of the show, as they reach the 70s, Neil is using an exact replica of his iconic 70s double-bass drum kit with the orchestral percussion while Geddy and Alex haul the old double-necks out of storage one more time.

This is really going to be a treat. The tix were pricey but what the hell. You only live once.

446 So much criticism for killing a Triceratops...yet no one compliments his obviously outstanding hunting skills to FIND a Triceratops...

447 Hahahahahahahhahhahahha!

Oh my gosh! These people!

I was driving through former Woolley Mammoth territory in Washington State and picturing the wonder of seeing them on those hills! I want the Russians to get that cloning done! I want to see a Mammoth in my lifetime!

I mean how much damage could one exist species do to those stage brush hills?

I am Ira Wetheral
My Disturbance of some ONTs is directly in response to Cooth's INSISTENCE that I
am responsible for his IT misfortune,

luap nor AKA Tim in Illinois was also called out and harassed, but seemingly didn't get the ban hammer because he did the 'turn the other cheek maneuver' which is cool.

I scream back at cooth, unperson, and a growing band of yahoos who seem to be swayed by his...
Magnificence. Buzzion fell into this as well as bebe.

The main point I want to make here, there is not and never will be any "evidence" pointing toward
implicating me. One night he got a bug up his ass, and never quit.

He is the sphincter in this case.

My belief, is while his fiancee was out of town, He stumbled into some bad shit on a porn site.

Maybe not, but he sure didn't get it from me.

Now my pal Mr Hat has been given over to the dark side.

Do I really have to wait for an apology from cooth?

When will his expensive "investigator" finger the culprit, if ever?

Late at night, all I have ever done was some silly back and forth you-tube music videos with hat and piercello. No fun anymore.

I don't see a resolution to this in the near future

But if you can, I'm amenable.

Seriously,
Ira
