MSNBC Hackette: You Will Agree With My Premise That Medical Marijuana and Gay Marriage Are Hugely Important Issues Or I Will Cut Off Your Mike

She also expresses her view that by refusing to agree with her premise that that local reporter's questions about medical marijuana (which I just linked below) were "important" to that state's voters, @tpcarney was "demeaning" her and "insulting [her] network."

This clip is illuminating, somewhat. After Carney's kicked off due to his refusal to play the left's Reindeer Games, a Democratic strategist opines it's a "red herring" that we must talk about the GDP and jobs, and argues that George Bush won in 2004 by talking about "gay marriage, gay marriage all day long."

Thus, he argues, turnabout is fair play.

If you were wondering whether that Examiner piece below -- that Obama and the Democrats are going to run solely on cultural issues, and attempt to squash any mention of the economy -- those doubts may now be safely laid to rest.

Same here. ....And we locked the door whenever we were doing things that, um....we didn't want them to see us doing.

As for breast feeding..... For me, the time to wean them, was when they had enough teeth to start using my breasts as chew toys. ....Which was ataround 9 months. ....It's not like I kicked them out the door or anything....they still got lots of cuddling and rocking chair time. ....Just no more chewing up mommy'sboobs.

But my son slept with us alot when he was little. He was always coming in afraid of the dark or a monster in his closet. That stopped when he was about 8. Then when my husband left us, he had a hard time dealing with it so he slept in my bed for about a year and a half. That all ended when he hit puberty.

They can use it for precious days where the headlines aren't about the economy, but they can't actually run on it.

No one is going to elect a 'look, squirrels!!!' platform, and gay marriage loses elections. Hell, Prop 8 was in California! This is a loser for the dems in one of their most reliable states.

Blue collar rust belt is the key to this election. I bregrudgingly admit Romney is tailored kinda great for that demographic, which Michigan roots, executive experience, and the aura of financial sense. But add in 'Obama's focused on gay marriage' and that sweetens the deal for voting GOP for a lot of these people. Not only does it help show Obama is way off the mark on the recession, but ,most of these people think gay marriage is wrong.

I think they hope Romney takes the bait, realizing there's ground to gain on gay marriage, because with Santorum that led to many saying he's not focused on the right issue (I think this attack was unfair to Rick, but whatever).
