The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

“But the thing about being a role model — people watch what you do to see if it lines up with what you say!” Vice President Kamala Harris

Quote II

“This is $6 billion that will be in the hands of [Iranian President Ebrahim] Raisi, the butcher of Tehran, controlled by the ayatollah, and it will mean more danger for everyone, Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

Quote III

"The relevant metric now isn't left versus right. It's anti-establishment versus pro-establishment.

Namely, do you think the loss of trust that these institutions of authority have suffered is valid or not? Do you think that they deserve the contempt in which they are held by a large portion of the population? I believe it's absolutely justified to hold them in contempt...

That's the fundamental distinction that defines our political spectrum more than old definitions of left versus right." Glenn Greenwald

I might be movin' to Montana soon. Just to raise me up a crop of Dental Floss Raisin' it up I don't think so anymore.......

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A Montana judge on Monday sided with young environmental activists who said state agencies were violating their constitutional right t o a clean and healthful environment by permitting fossil fuel development without considering its effect on the climate.

The ruling following a first-of-its- kind trial in the U.S. adds to a small number of legal decisions around the world that have established a government duty to protect citizens from climate change.

District Court Judge Kathy Seeley found the policy the state uses in evaluating requests for fossil fuel permits — which does not allow agencies to evaluate the effects of greenhouse gas emissions — is unconstitutional.

C'mon, Judge Judy Wanna-Be knows more than MIT Scientists.

Two Princeton, MIT Scientists Say EPA Climate Regulations Based on a ‘Hoax’
Physicist, meteorologist testify that the climate agenda is ‘disastrous’ for America

Two prominent climate scientists have taken on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new rules to cut CO2 emissions in electricity generation, arguing in testimony that the regulations “will be disastrous for the country, for no scientifically justifiable reason.”

Citing extensive data (pdf) to support their case, William Happer, professor emeritus in physics at Princeton University, and Richard Lindzen, professor emeritus of atmospheric science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), argued that the claims used by the EPA to justify the new regulations are not based on scientific facts but rather political opinions and speculative models that have consistently proven to be wrong.

“The unscientific method of analysis, relying on consensus, peer review, government opinion, models that do not work, cherry-picking data and omitting voluminous contradictory data, is commonly employed in these studies and by the EPA in the Proposed Rule,” Mr. Happer and Mr. Lindzen stated. “None of the studies provides scientific knowledge, and thus none provides any scientific support for the Proposed Rule.”

If you are having a Bible study at your home, can you utter "Holy Shit" without condemnation?

MORADA, Calif. — A security camera captured a dog chasing a mountain lion through the backyard of a California home on Friday.

Sandy Ali, of Morada, said she had lived in the area for years but had never seen a big cat near her home, KCRA-TV reported. She said she was surprised when a friend mentioned that two animals were running through the yard.

Two things Sugar T!ts: 1)At 34 you shouldn't be sponging off Mom & Dad; 2) They like your sister more than they like you. It happens.

A bereaved woman says she was shocked after her parents ordered her to move out of a house she'd come to regard as her home, just so that her younger sister and her family could move in instead. After the tragic loss of her boyfriend this past spring, the 34-year-old woman - who also found herself unemployed at around the same time - had no choice but to move back to her hometown.

Fortunately, she was thrown a much-needed lifeline when her parents agreed to let her live in a rural property they used to rent out, free of charge, reassuring her that it was hers to call home for as long as she needed. The house in question was fairly run-down, as nobody had lived there for a while, and she ended up putting plenty of time and money into doing it up.

I'm not a scientist. I don't play one on TV and I certainly didn't spend last night any a Holiday Inn Express. Any one who has hunted for predators know about squealing babies. I sure hope not too many tax dollars went to this study.

Nile crocodiles react to the cries of infants from species such as bonobos, chimpanzees, and humans.
New research shows that crocodiles also seem to distinguish levels of distress in cries.
The response may be predatory but could also demonstrate a maternal instinct in female crocodiles.

Woman finds man showering in her Nashville hotel room after alleged arson
The arrest report says a manager at the Holiday Inn Express found McNichols lighting a small fire in a stairwell.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is accused of several crimes in hotels that are across the street from each other on Broadway including arson (reckless burning), aggravated burglary, vandalism, disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Police said officers arrived at The Grand Hyatt Hotel after receiving reports of someone stealing and trespassing on the property on Monday night. That’s where they found hotel security detaining 62-year-old Timothy McNichols, police said.

Security told officers McNichols was caught on camera stealing a hotel employee’s scooter from the garage and coming back without it, according to the arrest report. Officers recognized him as the suspect of vandalism and starting fires earlier in the day at the Holiday Inn Express across the street.

When one or two doors are closed. More are opened. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Gently holding a baby hummingbird between her hands, Catia Lattouf says, “Hello, cute little guy. Are you very hungry?” It’s the newest patient at her apartment in a toney section of Mexico City where she has nursed hundreds of the tiny birds back to health over the past decade.

Under Lattouf’s caress, the bird relaxes little by little, allowing her to evaluate it. A young man who rescued it after it fell from a nest onto his patio watched attentively.

“It is a broad-billed hummingbird,” the 73-year-old Lattouf said, as she moved an eyedropper to its beak. “Oh, mama, you want to eat!”

50 The Good News: Montana has elections for judges.

The Bad News: That judge isn't up for reelection until 2026.

She's also only a district judge - the Montana Supreme Court could overrule her.

Fun fact: Montana is so unpopulated that there is no appellate level of judges: there are just district judges (and justices of the peace), and the Supreme Court.

I knew someone who had a nasty divorce in Montana - one of the parties appealed the initial divorce ruling, so it was appealed to the Montana Supreme Court. I don't think many other state supreme courts do divorce cases.

The OT is chock full of violence and slaughter. If a person doesn't view a human being as a special creation of God but as livestock, the whole decision matrix changes on how man treats his fellow man.

For instance, the attitude behind Life Unworthy of Life is the basis of slavery, prostitution, murder at its worse, and disregard for human flourishing in its primary mode.

Cain didn't have a Imago Dei view of his brother Abel, and calculated that Abel's life wasn't worth Cain letting it live.

I hold a particular eschatology (NOT chiliast) that considers Revelation 20:7 "... Satan will be released from his prison... " as reverting to a pre-70AD spiritual world.

That is, all of the oracles, omens, wisemen, prophets and their predictions and powers that are seen as early as Pharoah's magicians, to Ba'al priests vs Elijah, to the soothsayers and fortune-tellers, the gods every nation had prior to the Apostles going about "binding spirits" (as read in Acts, power granted in Matthew 16:19)

All of that demonic activity and "signs" will have a short revival. Whoever is alive when that happens is going to see things that have not happened for two thousand years.

And they will be pissed and out for revenge

And frankly, I'd want Musk to WIN and BIGLY.

Achievements like the SpaceX programs, Starlink network and other pursuits directly benefit the United States of America.

While Zuck's efforts, though they've certainly enriched many Americans, making 1,000s of millionaires and a handful of billionaires.. ultimately are some of the most Un-American products ever made, facilitating the Deep State and One Worlders like few others, before, now or in the months and years ahead.

251 They agreed to shut down some coal plants to appease the enviro WEFers a few years ago with the promise that they’d replace that output with “green” energy. Shockingly, that was never done.

Actually it was done, just not the way WEFers want you to think. Since Vicky Nuland ordered the destruction of NordStream pipelines, Europe has had to restart their coal power plants and have injected themselves into the highly corrupt ZA coal industry to buy up their higher quality coal that was destined to ZA's own power plants. Due to the far lower quality of the substitute coal to go to ZA's plants, many had to shut down (like a car engine would if you add too much water and sugar to the fuel tank)

To Whom is holiness ascribed? Is holiness ever debauched, dismissed or laughed at in scripture?

Of course, we make choices, we pays our money, and we takes our chances that at the end of life it won't matter if we scorned the Sacred using the secular, and have people laughing over our irreverent and rules are for fools witticisms.

284 Some Maui residents say they have been looted and robbed at gunpoint while catastrophic wildfires rage on the island — leaving them begging for a greater response from authorities as thieves make off with vital supplies.

As rescue crews work to deliver necessities such as water, food, and first aid to those in need, locals say some residents have grown so desperate waiting for help that they’ve resorted to stealing.

West Maui residents blame the robberies in Lahaina on the fact that they feel abandoned without supplies or answers.

All that matters is they destroy his reputation with 50% + 1 of the potential voters in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. I do not CARE how they might feel about me. They can hate me all they like. Water, ducks's back, etc.

But when they want to act on that hate? Then they make themselves targets until they make themselves no longer a threat, or until you or I or the Horde or other right thinking Citizens eliminate that threat. The other thing is they don't need to worry about doing everything illegally.

If they break the law to get Trump, and then the Supreme Court overturns it on what will be a 6-3 vote (since the liberal justices no longer even attemp to follow the law) it'll be used as another rallying cry of how the court is corrupt and needs to be demolished or changed.

If they don't get the case against Trump it's still probably enough to sully him in the eyes on enough voters. Bonus that it will put a strain in his attempts to campaign and he'll spend hundreds of millions to defend himself.

Last is if they do enough to make sure he loses in 2024, nothing matters anyway since they'll just arrest him and hold him indefinitely.

When every single layer is corrupt, from the courts, the police (DoJ) protecting the courts, and those who are supposed to be the watchdogs in the media, there's no upside to actually following the law

400 236 No. Zuck has in past years, taken up hunting, in order to be more "in touch" with the food he consumes. I don't know if he still hunts, but he certainly became used to guns and to shooting. Advantage, Zuck.

Are you sure he doesn't have a deserted island somewhere that he takes random kidnapped people to?

403 well...IF, IF the polls, esp. the Republican polls show him up say, 10/15% it would be harder to fake, than the last election.

I'm pretty cynical about polling, the publicly released polls (not internal) in particular.

I submit that public polls are designed to stimulate campaign funding. When the race is a run-away, the donations go to closer races and not to the myriad of consultants (like family members) who make their livings grifting campaigns.

404 I am reading "Forty Days of Musah Dagh" by Franz Werfel. Written in 1933 in German about the successful armed resistance of 5000 Armenian villagers during the genocide in 1915.

When written, those events were closer than 911 is to today.

Nearly as nasty as the holocaust. Turks rounded them up, and matched them to death to the Syrian desert, if they weren't just killed outright.

Fortunately, we are not at this point yet, since the Democrats have not YET achieved total control.

411 You would think the State attorney General could now step in and go after Soros's whore, as they've broken the law in their production of evidence, and now with this leak of charges before they were even voted on.

DeSantis, if he stays Gov of FL should start working with Kemp to bring move conservative voters to the FL/GA border. We've got FL locked down for years to come, so getting more conservatives to go there is just going to kill any chance at winning presidential elections, time to spread that to other states.

Kemp might be a never Trumper, but he's going to want to secure his own legacy, which follow up Republican wins in the state will do.

Meanwhile you can attempt to kill a senator and you actually end up getting praised by liberals.

Polls don't matter because they ate either national or by state.

If he's up 10% Nationally, they'll put the steal in states where they can justify the shift.

Same locally, Trump up 8% in MI, well boy did we have a record turnout in Detroit that put Biden over the top.

That's why it's easy for Dems to steal, because they have to only use 3 or 4 of their 10,000 options, while a Republican needs to get 10,000/10,000.

Plus it doesn't help that there can be literal video of them committing the crimes, and there are no consequences.

508 The fastest I ever piloted Von Sydow was about 120mph, I've seen footage of 150. I think with proper fuel and tweaked a little that car would approach 180. The year 2004, it trashed the Porsche 911 not off the line but past 35mph. I tried it: not much off the line, but keep pushing down and it does not stop. I have dashcam footage of 120-ish. It handles very well at that speed.

The Saab 9-5 is a rocket ship but only past 30/35-ish mph. The compression is extremely high, maybe 12-1, maybe higher. probably 14-1. It's insane. At very high speeds, like past 100mph, the Saab 9-5 handles like a dream. You can be tooling along at 100 and hit it and you can feel the punch.

Saab is still in the airplane business.

They dabbled (quite adroitly) in the automobile business, but they were and are, an AVIATION company, to the core.

Economic survival forced them to GM for a few years, and then all hope was lost.

Pity, they didn't connect with a more faithful manufacturing partner. Saab was the Euro Subaru, but without the AWD tech. But they made bank vaults of cars, with safety features even Volvo never imagined.

Plus, the 900 series Saabs had style and verve, far beyond the shoe-box that Volvo pressed their cars into.

554 Biggest problem with the 900 series Saabs?

VERY wrench unfriendly under the hood.

1970s front wheel drive tech hadn't learned to make certain serpentine belt sections available for maintenance, or various fluid plugs and fill ports all that easy to reach.

Plugs? Coil packs. Surely you jest!

Give a '70s 900 Turbo the modern rustproofing and a Subie AWD drivetrain, and it'd be a forever car, and one that'd haul ass in the bargain.

Bonus. You sit UP in a chair behind the wheel. Lay down legs extended driving might seem sexy, but on a 1,000 mile day... You'll WANT to have been siting up in that chair.

I will not reward it.
Is this a sin? Well, it's kind of hard for me to say.
It is, to me, having dealt in real life with it, I leave it up to the victim of sexual violence. Make the decision. My own Orthodox Church in fact prevaricates; not the USA whatever but the Balkan outfit that has to advise rape victims. The Churches' stance is that someone performing abortion might be subject to sanctions, but the woman at her wit's end can come to Church.

562 Abortion for casual birth control is just retarded.
I know a number of Bad Guys who did commit mass rape and to a man, they are unable to function in a relationship. Their lives are ruined. So God has punished them. But honestly I'm not waiting for that.
Attack some woman for whom I responsible and they make the choice to terminate that attack, I do not give a SHIT what my priest says and he will condemn me.
Call me a weak motherfucker but I will not reward my enemy with progeny.

568 It's 3 Am EST,
the veil between the two worlds is at its weakest.
The Bewitching Hours have begun...

Location. Fort Wayne, Indiana
Date: late March 1993 Time: night

The young witness was alone at home baby-sitting when suddenly all the lights of the house
went out. She was left in the dark with a crying infant. A bright light shone in from the front
window, while it rained heavily outside. She then heard a knock on the door and saw the
doorknob turn. The door opened and a small 4-foot tall purple-colored figure with a “curvy”
nose and large circular ears entered. The witness could not move as the small being ran into the
kitchen and grabbed a soda (!) from the refrigerator, it then walked out. The witness ran
towards the window and saw an object lift off at high speed, soon after the lights of the house
came back on.

572 You never expect the Batsquatch Inquisition...

Location. Mount Rainier Washington
Date: April 19 1993 Time: 2130

Brian Canfield was driving his truck along the foothills of Mount Rainier when suddenly he experienced total engine failure and its headlights went out. Then a 9-foot tall broad-shouldered
winged creature landed about 30 feet away. The being had a large mouth with sharp teeth, yellow eyes, a wolf-like face and was covered with bluish fur. After a few minutes the creature
turned his head looked at the witness and started flapping its wings. The creature then took off towards Mount Rainier. The witness then was able to start his truck and drive away. A later
search of the area failed to locate anything.

585 "You make a good point but that kind of language policing only works when accompanied with fire and brimstone."

Yeah, I know.

And, unfortunately, the "fire and brimstone" will come to us. It now appears to be just a question of "when," and by "whom."

20 bucks says it will be Russia. China wants us as buyers of their manufacturing, and lab rats for their pharmaceuticals.
