I told Junior-ette's 8th grade math teacher that her so called new math was bullshit and that she could shove it up her ass. I told her principle to her face, sitting to her left, that if my kid got her test, or homework marked as incorrect when she got the answer correct while not following their bullshit new math techniques, that I would sue their asses in civil court for every dime they had or would ever earn. Junior-ette never got another bad math grade and is now earning straight A grades in Calc 3. DoEd can suck my Moron dick.

This is a tough one. I generally hold that people who throw cans, bottles, etc at performers should be beaten unrecognizable by security. On the other hand Cardi B is a despicable waste of carbon, and is defrauding concertgoers by lip-synching. I guess the balance is preserved in this one.

So of course they go woke - they have no substance because the whole business/finance/government economy has been replaced by a house of cards.

I worked with Paul during my time at Panavision on our sound stage. We hit it off and out of the blue he asked me what my birthday was and there it was, a birthday card from him for the next three years all in the Pee Wee motif.
Actually went up to his house one night for dinner. His living room was stuffed to the gills with Pee Wee related dolls, board games and every other kind of marketing kitsch toy you could ever imagine. He was a very chill dude and talked of doing some serious character roles if the opportunity came to him. Standing outside near his pool that night after dinner, finishing some very fine single malt scotch, I turned and saw the HOLLYWOOD sign literally draped over the top of his yard trees as his house was the last at the top of the canyon below the sign.
Never saw or heard from him again after that night. I don't want to think he was expecting something else to happen but I may have been wrong. Still, he seemed like a good guy to me.

My prediction: A few restaurants owned directly by the corporation opening in a few big cities for a few months before being shuttered for low sales yet still be declared a great success for reasons.

Attempts to stop junkies from doing drugs will always fail because the addict wants to be high. The best one could do is exile into isolated colonies and let Darwin finish the job.

The Killer Kittens From Outer Space are doing well, but I can tell they're hungry. Their bowls, both wet food and dry, are completely empty, and they are pacing near me. Stirling the big black (13.5 lbs., about two too much) is on his diet, so I have a walk a careful line to be sure little Dagny gets enough to eat too. Two pounds over doesn't sound like much . . . but cast it in human terms; it would be as if I were twenty-five pounds overweight.
