My Center Is Giving Way, My Right Is Retreating. Situation Excellent, I Am Reading The ONT!

Hello my children! Welcome to your favorite Thursday night online hangout!

Internets.jpg

Lots of content tonight, to start, would you like to play a game?

Thursday Night Game

Anti-bucket list.jpg

The meme says it all. What's something that you've done that you'll never do again? I decline to answer on the grounds that I might discriminate against myself.

SVB

I know this guy is a venture capitalist, so he's probably not unbiased, but what he's saying here jibes with a lot of things I've read from other sources.

A Thread On Silicon Valley Bank

Here's a thing he mentions: many banks are invested heavily in mortgage bonds, which have long been considered a solid investment. He details how Bidenomics and inflation have lead to a rise in interest rates and the effect that has, but there's another piece to the puzzle. The response to the pandemic absolutely killed center city real estate values. Workers were sent home to work, and many of them found they didn't need to be in the highrise offices of Flim And Flam, Inc. to do their jobs. More discovered that they didn't want to go back to work away from home. So why should corporations maintain large downtown office suites? How many of those mortgage bonds are backed by real estate that is only generating a fraction of the revenue that it did in 2019? I have a hunch things could get much worse before we're through.

What's That You Say? Things Could Get Much Worse?

Are We the Byzantines?

So what happened to the once indomitable city fortress and its empire?
Christendom had cannibalized itself. Western Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy fought endlessly. Westerners often hated each other more than they did their common enemy.
In the final days of Constantinople, almost no help was sent from Western Europe to the besieged city.
In fact, 250 years earlier, the Western Franks of the Fourth Crusade had detoured from the Holy Land to storm the supposedly allied Christian City of Constantinople.
Then they ransacked the city and hijacked the Byzantine Empire for a half-century. Constantinople never quite recovered.
The 14 th-century Black Plague killed tens of thousands of Byzantines and scared thousands more into moving out of the cramped city.
But the aging and dying empire battled more than the challenges of internal divisions, or an unforeseen but deadly pandemic and the empire’s disastrous responses to it.
The last generations of Byzantines had inherited a global reputation and standard of living that they themselves no longer earned.
They neglected their former civic values and fought endless battles over obscure religious texts, doctrines, and vocabulary.
They did not expand their anemic army and navy. They did not reunite their scattered Greek-speaking empire. They did not properly maintain their once life-giving walls.
Instead of earning money through their accustomed nonstop trade, they inflated their currency and were forced to melt down the city’s inherited gold and silver fixtures.
The once canny and shrewd Byzantines grew smug and naïve. Childlessness became common. Most now preferred to live outside of what had become a half-empty, often dirty, and poorly maintained city.

Read the whole thing.

How Bad Could It Get?

Well, there's probably not anyone in a position to militarily invade the US like the Turks invaded Constantinople. But suppose we lose completely to the far left? Suppose we become subjected to the tyranny of the woke? It's happened before.

How we forgot about Pol Pot*

Well, as AlextheChick said, “Who's this we? You got a mouse in your pocket?” I haven't forgotten about Pol Pot, but the scope of the atrocities are mind-numbing.

The tree is in a quiet, sunstruck park, lost in a grimy exurb of the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. The tree is decorated with hundreds of bracelets and trinkets, with the occasional teddy bear and kiddies’ drink – poignantly Blyton-esque touches, perhaps.

But if you look close at the bark of this tree, you can see tell-tale abrasions: chops, scars, bruises. These blemishes mark the places where peasant soldiers would swing screaming children against the tree, smashing their skulls to pulp. This was done, quite deliberately, in front of their naked, wailing and soon-to-be-murdered mothers. Because this is the infamous Baby Bashing Tree, in the Khmer Rouge Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.

How? Why?

At the same time, a groupuscule of Paris-educated Cambodian ultra-Maoists, the Khmer Rouge, was rising to power. They started by radicalising and arming the peasantry, firing them with violent passion. Eventually they seized the capital (that terrible day witnessed by Roland Neveu). They then set about enforcing their crazed belief in an agrarian paradise, with everyone labouring like oxen in the rice-fields. A Maoist autarky. A place without money (they literally blew up the national bank, scattering now-worthless banknotes into the jacaranda trees). A place without religion, hierarchy, social class, intellectuals.

To do this, they killed all the middle classes. Everyone. If you had an education, you were killed. If you spoke a foreign language, you were killed. If you were a monk, a teacher, a lawyer, you were killed. People wearing spectacles were killed. Anyone who could dance was killed; ancient and exquisite Cambodian dance was a tradition handed on orally and practically – this meant that the nation of Cambodia forgot how to dance.

When the KR ran out of obvious bourgeoisie to kill, they killed each other. For any reason. People caught with snails in their pockets were killed. People were killed for having sex, or being happy, or laughing. In the end it is estimated the Khmer Rouge slaughtered about 2-3 million people in a population of 8 million. Cambodia is the nation that crucified itself.

Why? Why was this regime so mad? This is the question many have asked. After this latest visit, finally going to Choeung Ek, I think I perhaps have an answer. In his fine, troubling book – The Elimination – about his interviews with Duch, Khmer Rouge survivor Rithy Panh quotes Duch saying that in his world ‘there is no place for the individual’, and ‘beauty is an obstacle’.

The Khmer Rouge did it by weaponizing the young. Teenagers were the vanguard of the revolution, the exact same cohort that Antifa is radicalizing in America. Unlike Cambodia, where peasants were targeted, here they are targeting the affluent in universities. It won't get that bad here. We are far more culturally and materially prepared to resist. But if you want to know what the end game is for the left, it's only been 50 years since they played it out, and created hell on Earth.

Speaking Of Hell

The Lords of the Underworld

This is a substack that's posted some interesting stuff lately. I'll get to another one in a minute, but this is a fascinating look at the hierarchies that have developed in the mega prisons in the US, using Dante's Inferno and the succession of Scottish Kings as an analogy. All of the power in the gangs flows down to individuals locked in supermax jails, absolutely untouchable.

And of course at the center of the ninth circle Lucifer himself resides submerged, The greatest betrayers in history, Judas Iscariot and Marcus Junius Brutus (Dante was a Caesar fanboy) being knawed in his twin mouths, and in this blackest pit, this coldest hell, in company almost as bad, the great traitor dwells.

Trapped, and yet not.

For he is also the Prince of Hell, the ruler all the devils and damned obey and fear. His voice whispers that which only drunkards hear, appearing in moonlight rays at midnight crossroads, and in shadows cast cross scholars studies.

He has fallen farther than any ever could, yet not so far he can’t snare others to tumble as well, and exact terror and tribute under that threat.

Aristocracy is the rule of the best. And naturally it is quite desirable to be such a ruler.

Cocytarchy is the rule of the worst. The rule of the damned. The rule of the Ninth Circle. And as such only the most defective, desperate and damned have the misfortune to rule in such a system. The rare relative innocent who completes such a descent and “rises” to high power in such a system being a Faustian tragedy of the darkest telling.

Dante’s geographical metaphor of the descent through its layers exactly following its structure of rule. Whereas heaven and the godly secular monarchs are always visualized as a pyramid hell is always visualized as a pit.

And then he closes the circle with a look at the US civil service. It's a...um...wild ride.

Here's the other thing he wrote that I read this week.

The Dream of the Motorcycle Warlords

A pretty in-depth look at how absolutely invaluable motorcycles are to insurgents in asymmetrical warfare, and a compelling case why organizations like the US Army will never field them in force. Not going to excerpt it, but worth reading if motorcycles or insurgency are your thing.

Damn, I'm gloomy tonight, aren't I?

I didn't mean to be. It just arose naturally from the material I bookmarked. What else have I got?

Jimmy Carter was an asshole

First of all, no shit. Second of all, not raising the atmosphere in here. Hmm. How about this?

A Smart Military Blog

Quite a story.

Oooh, This Is Neat

The "Moon-Eyed People" the Cherokee encountered when they first moved into Appalachia

Seems the Cherokee had to take the land from a native tribe already occupying the area. The...Welsh?

I have no trouble believing it. None. We know about Columbus, and Erikson and dozens of other explorers recorded by history. Mankind has been going down to the sea again since we discovered logs float. I have absolutely no doubt, none, that there were dozens or even hundreds of explorers who sailed to all seven continents and everywhere in between that were never recorded in our histories. In fact, it's probably more naive to believe that there weren't.

The 5 Main Options For Australia’s AUKUS Nuclear Submarine Deal
Australia wants to join the nuclear sub club. Here's a look at their options. I saw someone tweet that they might enter into a joint venture with China. I find that highly unlikely, because China is the main threat Australia is trying to counter. Don't we have a bunch of decommissioned Los Angeles class subs sitting around awaiting final disposal? We should sell Australia a half dozen of those as a stop-gap measure.

Tonight's ONT has been brought to you by exercise:

*The only quibble with the entire article is at the end, when he tries to pretend that Pol Pot's atrocities were on the opposite end of the political spectrum from Hitler's. They weren't. Both were just slightly different flavors of Marxism.

The useful part is to understand that this is an op to force digital currency into play.

It was posted the other day. In 2021 the bonds were the only option the regional banks had to survive. In 2023 the bonds they bought to survive are the time bombs that set to go off to make them collapse.

This was all planned.

Six years ago, when Pooky was in the psych ward at the Omaha VA, he was talking to a fellow patient who was basically there because of a psychotic break. The guy was a vet, got out because of mental issues, got into an argument with his wife... and decided to drive down to BRAZIL on his motorcycle. He got as far as Arizona, and through happenstance/divine intervention, ran into an old Army buddy. The buddy saw he was in trouble and helped get him back to the guy's worried wife in Omaha and the previously-contacted VA. I told Pooky that I hope someone gave the buddy a bottle of whiskey or something for his trouble.

82 The stuff Jimmie Carter did to make himself look like a man of the people was so obviously staged that you had to be dumber than a pile of dirt to fall for it, and yes, I knew liberals who bought it.

I lived through Carter. Can't tell you how many times my incredibly rigid Southern Baptist family prayed - and publicly defended - Jimmy Carter. Because, damn it, he was a Righteous Man.

Were they naive ? Yes. But Carter was simply the earlier version of an Al Gore. A John Kerry. A Berry Sortero. A "W". They all had a sctick - a group of fans to play to. And when the script gets thin - the fans will imagine their own fan fiction to idealize.

Anyone who asks, does not understand the Left.

It's not a criticism. I don't blame people for not comprehending the breadth of their demonic self-absorption.

But I do blame them for not listening or believing when they are told the answer. Are the Left the same here? Yep. Are the ones descending us to this hell capable of the very same atrocities? Not only capable, but willing. Desirous even.

Would those moralizing champions at The Bulwark and National Review stand by and watch, cover it up, make excuses and cheer? What the fuck do YOU think? They've already shown you they are willing to sacrifice your children. There is unfortunately no line. And there is only a single way to deal with them. The ambassador was a Bush 41 appointee and he and his wife did everything possible to make the visit a good one. The oh so Baptist couple treated them like garbage. Rosalind was the worst of the two- she wouldn't speak to the ambassador's wife all week. Would look the other direction any time the woman tried to engage her.
I had to be at their hotel at 5:00 AM to run three miles with them, then run home, shower and change and be back at the hotel to continue the days activities since i translated for them and their SS. 162 Shark Tank O'Leary says we don't need regional banks.
He says there should only be about 4-6 banks total.

So how did all of these banks get here? Because whatever mechanism gave us hundreds of banks is the very same mechanism he cares to see destroyed and replaced by a government system that only knows war, debt, corruption and depravity.

SVB failed, in part because of gross mismanagement. There is also wisdom in not keeping all of your eggs in a single basket. O'Leary is too stupid to heed this millennia old wisdom.

So what happens when 4-6 banks become like every other large organization and become totally corrupt and a criminal syndicate?

163 Anti-Bucket List:

Did Times Square one New Year's Eve in the late '80s, only because I was in the neighborhood attending a Rangers' game. Never again! Once was more than enough. Standing around in the cold and damp, no port-o-potties, no food vendors, nothing to buy to drink as the bodegas were all closed (for good reason).

So, Time Square is something I did once, but will never, ever do again.

4 banks is crazy. We need more banks, not less. A few banks can be ruled by groupthink, hundreds can't. If some, most even go under, others can survive due to their other ideas and administrators.

With computers and internet, inter-bank communication isn't hard for the smallest bank to do. Improve that, and allow more banks to form and reduce this drive to monopolize.

It could also be from a myth inherited from the Maya and be more a discussion of the milky way, or both.

There are three major theories of peopling of the Americas, the Beringia path, which is actually a shallow sea that was exposed during the last glacial periods, the Soulterian path, which considers travel on ice from Europe or by small boats along the shortened path (this is based on Soulterian type points found on the East coast) and the Australasian path which thinks that populations also traveled along the pack ice off of Antarctica from Australia which would have been shorter due to the glaciers from South America to Antarctica.
They are doing Genetic traces now, and think there were two waves through Beringia, as well as some counterflow back to Siberia

Interestingly, until recently any discussion of Pre-Clovis settling is considered Taboo, even Louis Leaky was called a crank for his report on a dig near San Diego in the 70s

241 Motorcycle units were part of Wehrmacht cavalry, I think. There were bicycle detachments too, but pretty much only useful on the western front, for fairly obvious reasons.

"April 9" is suggested as a good little war film following the story of a Danish bicycle unit that attempted to resist the German invasion in 1940. True story, too, I think.

yes recon elements in German mobile units often had motorcycles. Japanese used bicycles in Malaysia to work on the roads to outmarch the English and colonial troops in 1941

253 Stray Cats Saga
===============

Part 3.
Thurs March 16: today we caught 3 of the 5 Chili's Parking Lot cats (all one litter, Mama gone)
Took them straight to the vet. 2 girls, one boy.
The gray boy, who I named Mister Friendly as he was right from the start, lost his jewels.
The two girls, a gray and a black, are pregnant so we'll have to wait until afterwards for the spaying. Couldn't tell how many babies with ultrasound, which I find odd. Hopefully will be small litters as many First Litters are. At the moment they are in an unused bedroom, probably very bewildered and scared as this is their first time in a house and not under a starry sky.
The two remaining ones, both black and sex unknown, will wait for another day, hopefully. They seemed almost as if they had done this before. We use proper humane traps, no harm done.

Haven't paid the vet yet but it feels like a very expensive day so far.

264 I've been to the site of the Cambodian killing fields, it was pretty rural and took a while I remember that. There is a huge glass structure full of skulls. The dirt is sort of grey with bone dust, or something. Still smells like death. I was told they lured a lot of the people out of the city with something something to do with health care identification cards or something like that.

We'd watch the traffic in the street below, Phnom Penh, from the hotel mesmerised. No lanes, thousands of cars, buses and mopeds and everything just driving and weaving around each other. Sidewalk driving is just another avenue.

Anyway, one thing people might not appreciate, is how civil wars or genocides start. In every country it always the same, whether Cambodia, or Cuba or China or Russia or Germany or Rwanda. They "otherize" a race, or a class, or by politics. Eliminationist rhetoric in government and academia. Scapegoating.

the only evidence, beyond odd stonework and rumors, of contact between the Norse in Newfoundland and Columbus is that a number of fairly advanced societies in the Ohio valley collapsed, the main one was Kahokia.

Their usual excuse for not being offended in place of certain groups is that those groups have "power structures" or are oppressors. What power structures do women who've lost babies have?

This was all done (mostly) under contract, paid through cutouts, by some of the leading psychiatrists of the day. Manchurian candidate type stuff.

One of the leading experimenters, I think he was head of the APA in the 50s, had some strange ideas. And I would not necessarily discount them - or at least consider how they would be used for nefarious purposes. I think the good doctor also testified at Nuremberg, and had a lot of ideas about Germans, and that they were culturally and racially disposed to wars and would have to be dealt with or there would be a war in another 30 years.

What people need to understand, is the entire psychological framework of how to beat the Nazis was imported here, it is no accident they call Americans "Nazis", they are functionally equivalent in their minds, and we're always and ever only a kristallnacht away from the 4th reich. And I think if you look at the big picture, over the long run of the last several decades, everything flows along that thesis. Everything from de-industrialization and status as an economic powerhouse to (at this point) turning little boys into transexuals. A healthy intact family, god fearing, why you might as well crank up the Horst Wessel tune. They think this way, and they mean business. A big component if you pay attention is to look at certain events. Jim Jones cult, the deaths in Guyana are considered by many to be a spook run experiment of sole type. They don't happen in a vacuum. California is weird, but it ain't that weird. Hypnosis is used frequently. Patty Hearst, remember that? She wasn't kidnapped, she was a convert. Just like the Manson girls. Ever wonder how Manson was able to run drugs, auto theft ring, prostitution, credit card theft and not break parole? 305 > The notion that there was no travel between the rest of the world and the Americas after the ice bridge in Alaska receded is frankly stupid.

It's even more stupid when you realize that Alaska Natives routinely crossed the Bering Strait in their indigenous boats long before the Russians showed up. They continue to do it to this day (although mostly with modern boats). They didn't even stop during the Cold War. Lots of Natives have relatives on both sides of the Strait, and it's not like there were customs inspectors watching every foot of coastline (there's a LOT of coastline in Alaska).

No one needed a "land bridge". While one likely existed at some periods, it wasn't at all necessary for the peopling of the Americas.

Most the H-Ds of those times were muffled more like an Electra Glide Classic, than the Captain America with it's straight pipes and bent rider.

My memory of vintage H-Ds of the early '60s, is them sounding much like a Detroit V-8. Deep, yacht like rumble and burble, but not "loud pipes save lives" thunder.

The .mil Kawasaki Diesel 650 was a showroom bike for a year or two. +$8k, when the conventional four stroke gasser would've been a $4k bike. Pity. I think a big Diesel Single would be a THING, now!

I have seen those in use, at a tractor show. Field Marshall tractor had both options. Owner let me crank it up using the compression release. Big open flywheel on the right side, with a spiral track machined into the rim of it. Pick up a little lever arm, with a small wheel on it, pull them stem out a ways, and place the wheel in the start of the spiral, closest to me on the rim. That is the compression release. Flip out a knob on the face of the flywheel, and start cranking, round, and round, and round, a little faster each time. After about six turns, it is making pretty good speed, and the little wheel falls off the inboard side of the flywheel rim, and Bingo! The engine has compression. Bang! It goes, and Bang! again, and it is running. It was cool to do it, but I can see why electric starters became popular.

If they're set up right, and have human compression they start fine. My panhead was a consistent 1 kick bike. I used to be able to start it with my hand, which pissed a lot of people off. I get these chuckleheads that want a high compression stroker, and yet they weight 150 pounds and think they're going to start it. I did one last month. I begged the dude not to go that route, he wouldn't listen. I told the shop that brought me in to build it that he was never going to start it just from looking at him. Bers, I once witnessed a Hells Angel bring out a sledgehammer from their clubhouse, and beat a 45 H-D engine into aluminum dust, because he could not get it started.

So observed, as the "old ladies" at the clubhouse had agreed to watch over my brother and me, as my late and lamented Mom had to go work a waitress shift, and could find NO OTHER "sitters" for the task at hand.

Gotta say this. Those "old ladies" had the clubhouse on Best Behavior. Even the Hulk Bike Murderer elicited a bare minimum of cussage in the doing.

I've pissed off some HD riders when on my 'Wing. Turn the handlebar kill switch to "off". Presse the starter button, while miming "kicking" furiously. Then cuss a lot. Making it worse, look for the "oil leaks" under the bike.

Posted by: Berserker-Dragonheads Division at March 17, 2023 01:20 AM (VwHCD)

A compression release and a spark retard would help that. A Model T Ford had a lot less than 9.75 compression, and they had a spark retard. And most of your older outboard motors had the spark advance directly linked to the throttle; a cam on the breaker plate was what opened the throttle.

380 Bers - My last F3 ride was powered by a much-modified Suzuki GN400 engine, 3.5" bore, 10.25:1 piston.

I never even bothered to try to kick start it, besides, removing the kick-start lever saved 2 lbs. or so. Start was achieved by recruiting someone to give me a good hard running push down pit road. Fortunately, there was a compression release, which once the piston was positioned, would allow one revolution before compression/fire. If it didn't fire on that first compression stroke, then, the whole process had to be repeated.

381 Yep, "Paperclip" brought over propaganda specialists, chemical warfare specialists, psychologists etc.

When you start reading what they were doing in the 1950s - and more importantly the connections of specific people - it starts to fill in. America or Americans had to be made safe for "global governance".

I can't tell whose fucking side half these motherfuckers are on, double reverse triple agents, but it is obvious the research and methods and materials they invented are deployed on Americans.

"Mind control" isn't a conspiracy theory, it's another form of advertising. Crowd control, and suggestibility.

What the nazis discovered was that people who experienced trauma at an early age are easier to hypnotize, or "brainwash". The CIA scientists went so far as to combine sleep deprivation along with high doses of LSD - one group for 77 straight days - and would wake them with electroshock prods.

The connections between the large publishing houses, academia, spooks, government - you simply cannot try to explain this to people without sounding half crazy yourself! But it is documented. None of the principals would testify, and they destroyed many of the records.

I would like to see that wall in the context of a geological map of the mountain. Sometimes, what looks like a man-made structure is nothing more than the surface trace of an outcrop of a particular bed of rock with a unique fracture style. Frost heaves can create such features. There is a structure in Cypress Hills, Alberta/Saskatchewan that resembles this. Cypress Hills was never glaciated in the last Ice Age. It is a relic of pre-Glacial topography.

Well the electronic ignition already takes care of the retard during starting. The problem is the gas is shit, and pixi won't give me enough space to list all the problems dudes have with these things that all get cured with a little bit of advance. They run way better, but then the ignition retard is not quite as retarded as it would be normally during starting, and if you know how to start one it's never an issue, but a 150 pound dude who has a collection of motocross bikes and thinks he's ready for the big time is a prefect storm of fail. Not a problem with electric start, and the monster engines have compression releases, but a kick bike with an engine like that, you need to be a true believer.

412 Can you get a "free start" on a Harley engine like you can on a T?

The impetus for a practical electric starter was the head of GM, who lost a good friend, when he stopped to help a stranded motorist start her car by cranking it. Engine wasn't retarded enough for starting, kicked back, and crank struck him squarely and broke his jaw. He died of infection some days later.

Kettering was a Delco engineer, who also invented the ignition distributor.

A consortium of the Too Big To Fail Banks, including JP Morgan, Shiti-bank, BoA, and the rest of the usual suspects, bailed it out to the tune of $30B.

436 Okay, one of my Marine Corps friends was chatting with me earlier and he remembered a story about me back in California.

My roommate was on duty as the company driver, and I was on baracks duty, so the two of us were in our room during inspection one Thursday. A 1st Sgt, not OUR 1st Sgt, but both of us were board Marines so there is little doubt that he knew who we were.

He comes in the door was open, and my roommate, Eric and I were just sitting there reading books and listening to music, I had a great stereo system.

"WHATS GOING ON HERE!?!?" he yells. Eric and I look at eachother. Eric left it to me, "We just got off of duty sgt 1st sgt sir," (that's a roundabout way of telling him to fuck off.) He walked over to our "closets." to inspect them, which is funny because as I said, both Eric and I were Board Marines, our shit was pristine.

Posted by: Wickedpinto at March 17, 2023 07:04 AM (+DF+H)

437 "Not bad, I guess you are lucky" or something like that he said, I responded "Makes sense I was inspected 2 days ago sgt sir." And Eric said, "I was about a month ago, but I only wear one pair." The dude was getting progessively more and more angry with the fact we didn't give a fuck, he looked into my "Secretary" cabinet, filled with CD's and books. My "Secretary was a mess, but it's usually closed and locked.

Posted by: Wickedpinto at March 17, 2023 07:05 AM (+DF+H)

438 "What the fuck is this?!" he asked me as I still haven't moved or really reacted, I looked at Eric and he just rolls his eyes and starts reading all over again. "Well Sgt first sir, Those are CD's and Those are books. The CD's you listen too, the books you read, FIRST SGT."

The look of death he gave me was GREAT! because I did nothing out of line, but all the time he was in my room I did nothing but insult him. After he left Eric said to me, "I hate being your friend."

440 Another story.

I have been out of The Corps for the last 25 years or so. about 3 years ago I heard gunshots, which I wouldn't care about when I lived in South Chicago, but down here in Brisbane it's unusual. I shot up awake, my wife asked me what was up, I said, "those are gunshots, call the cops." and I walked out the front door, and started to walk towards where the sounds came from.

Posted by: Wickedpinto at March 17, 2023 08:07 AM (+DF+H)

441 As soon as I walk out, there are like 7 other guys walking towards the sounds of gunfire. I'm an American Marine in Australia, middle aged, one of my neighbors a little older was there, and my best friend in Australia, my other neighbor in his sixties, who was AF in South Africa, and a few other ADF guys. and we didn't talk.

We just walked towards the sound of a gun, and then my friend, my only friend said, "You're American?" "Yeah, that's a gun" "It is, you military?" "Yeah, Marine." and BAM we all started talking about our service

442 Because we were from all over the place, and still willing to march to the sound of battle. I said after a little bit, "Is there anyone here who ISN'T MILITARY?" and of COURSE, my wife goes running in front of us saying, "MEMEMEMEMEME I have never been military."

I don't suggest fucking with my wife, not because of me, but because of her, but it was so damn funny. A bunch of serious military guys organizing our action if the shots were anything more than moronic, we would have taken the fucker down. Meanwhile my wife tells that joke.

443 What is this “Jimmy Carter WAS an Asshole”? He’s not dead yet.

When did he stop being an A-hole? When he went into hospice? Is that a rule? All A-Holes stop being an A-Hole when they go to hospice?

Could be a new selling point for hospices, as if they don’t have a regular supply of customers as it is.
