iirc, that's correct. It bums me completely out that there was no love lost between Robertson and Levon Helm toward the end of Helm's life. Who knows what really went down but it just all seemed such a damn shame.

Well, she didn't skin the poor thing alive. And the animals were dumped in the wild, and beset by parvo. The asshole who dumped them is at least 50% responsible for the poor thing's fate. I think the judge made the best decision possible, given the circumstances.

What it is, is a KD engine crane (KD = knock down). Rental shops everywhere have them. They can be disassembled easily with a pair of wrenches, and loaded into the trunk of most cars. The tonnage ratings on the arm reflect the maximum load that can be handled with the beam extended to that point. I don't know if the Hoyer lift evolved from the KD crane, or the other way around. Both do much the same sort of job.

Tulsi would make a great Republican. Supports gun control, supports the WEF, supports globalism, supports the $15 minimum wage that we're currently seeing the results of when buying groceries, supports gay marriage, supports gays/cross-dressers, endorsed Biden, etc.
Now she - like so many other "moderate" democrats - wants to be part of the conversation of conservatives and help guide us and find our way forward. It's the exact same thing that's happening down to the micro level at state and county offices. They don't support conservatism, but do have some suggestions on how it's okay to embrace all of the social aspects that we don't currently support.

Not just an eagle. IIRC almost any and every bird so long as they're native is covered under the Migratory Bird Act. It's just a matter of enforcement, and you're not likely to get arrested and thrown in jail and fined $25K when your three year old picks up a bluebird's pretty feather.
But you can be if they need to. And that ability to enforce it if and when it is needed is what matters.

I knew someone who worked for Head Start, and had also worked for a couple of other government agencies. At that time I also knew a few other people who worked for government agencies. If going to happy hour and listening to those people doesn't make you a flaming right wing conservative, nothing will. Nah, but Wegmans is very conscious of quality. Best meat, fish, and vegetable quality I have found but that is not compatible with low prices,

One of the college papers in Oregon, either OSU or U of O, had an article by a student reporter titled: "Hunting the Brown and White Elk" in which he discussed his accidental shooting of a cow during elk season.
There was also a tale about they guys walking into their hunt area for elk, and came across one really pissed guy carrying a saddle, and a little while later a really apologetic guy with a saddle who explained that his buddy shot their horses because he got turned around.
