I've been filling in our family tree during these past few weeks. The branch that originated in Wales, surprisingly, lead to an explosion in its membership numbers. Who knew that those Welsh in America were so given over to reproducing one century ago? Now I am running along a string of Norwegians that go back to a fourth great grandparent, so a possibility exists of me finding a fifth cousin or two in there.

IMHO, never give a cat wet food. It will never eat dry (cheap) food again. Posted by: Chatterbox Mouse at February 11, 2023 *** My two gobble both without hesitation. And the dry food at a level above Friskies is not really cheap. Besides, I've been told by several vets that the moisture in the wet canned food will help with the cats' kidney health in the long run. They have one of those electric water "fountains," and they love to sip at running tap water too, but I'm trying to make sure they get enough moisture. Good morning, ya morons (and 'ettes)!
I read all Vic's links and the comments. That's great news about Jewells. I'm considering giving up all my online haunts for Lent. Every day brings a fresh outrage about which I can do nothing. Posted by: NaughtyPine at February 11, 2023 06:49 AM (/+bwe) Other than catching the headlines on the Morning Update and other posts at the HQ, I don't bother with the "news." It's all just a marinade of lies and bull-$h!t. We are in a spiritual battle. If you don't realize that Satan has broken his shackles, and he and his minions are stalking the Earth, what is going on is very disorienting. As far as doing something, we are called by Jesus to carry our crosses and follow Him. Bring light to your neighbors and co-workers. On Friday, Sen. John Fetterman’s (D-Pa.) chief of staff stated that campaigning last year may have caused the senator permanent brain damage. While many in conservative media raised concerns about Fetterman’s health and whether he was truly fit to serve in the U.S. Senate, the aide’s admission directly contradicts the note written by Fetterman’s doctor, a Democrat donor, who insisted that Fetterman was fit to serve.

I said I would see if my mom would make him one. I go ask she says oh just look in the laundry room in the "tote". Chinese spy balloon tinfoil hat theory:
We let the ChiComs float their balloons. Probably an agreement between the two militaries or intelligence sectors. The Executive Branch might not have even been aware until the incident last week. It's not unheard of, but usually a formal treaty is signed. We participated in the "Open Skies Treaty" up until 2020. While part of that treaty any participant could fly special aircraft over another treaty member's country and snoop around. China was never a participant in Open Skies. But I can certainly see our military or intelligence communities doing this behind the scenes. Whether they/we get to snoop around in China is debatable. When you look at Mitt Romney and the rest of the GOPe and severely abused dogs who are desperate to crawl back into the Democrats cage because a servile life of desecration and abuse is all they know, his snarling and snapping at Santos fits.
They don't see us and Trump as breaking the bars and tearing off the door-- they see us as the unknown outsider upsetting their order. We're the danger because "outside" the cage is where they get kicked, beat, abused. "Inside" is safe. And we are trying to take them out of "safe place." What is shocking is, they don't understand: The cage is busted and there's no safety crawling back under the rubble no matter how much you beg the Democrats for mercy. Note Mike Pence, whimpering from the rubble, as they beat him for Biden stealing classified docs. Posted by: People's Hippo Voice at February 11, 2023 08:55 AM (/6aCr) 263
