245 Hey guys I'm late because I've been sleeping on and off and probably hitting the hay in a minute. Got a good report card today from the doctor!! No new cancer growth, the nodes have pretty much stabilized. Moving forward he thinks the continued infusions of Keytruda and Pemetrexed will cause them to now begin to shrink and hopefully some will disappear. This is great news!

10 I've been filling in our family tree during these past few weeks. The branch that originated in Wales, surprisingly, lead to an explosion in its membership numbers. Who knew that those Welsh in America were so given over to reproducing one century ago? Now I am running along a string of Norwegians that go back to a fourth great grandparent, so a possibility exists of me finding a fifth cousin or two in there.

In the meantime, coffee for me and chow for the furry thugs. I spent almost $20 for food and litter at the Petco yesterday afternoon, canyabelieveit? And a number of the cat food cans were on clearance at that.

My two gobble both without hesitation. And the dry food at a level above Friskies is not really cheap. Besides, I've been told by several vets that the moisture in the wet canned food will help with the cats' kidney health in the long run. They have one of those electric water "fountains," and they love to sip at running tap water too, but I'm trying to make sure they get enough moisture.

She had a little picture of her husband. -Well, he wasn't her husband then -in is Air Force Uniform when he enlisted at age 18. But they were dating, I think He hadn't yet completed high school because he was held back because of childhood illnesses but completed school when he came back. What we have learned is that Twitter employed thousands of people just to scour the inter-webs for Bad-Think. That's why he can fire some 7000 employees without affecting Twitter operations. If you're an employee working for Elon Musk and not contributing to the mission as he defines it, you got some worrying to do.

The other social media companies have Thought Police, Musk is jettisoning those he can.

Unfortunately my buddy Paul did not get much reduction in his tumor from the first course of chemo, and his pain has returned as well as his use of narcotics. I will go back east next month and b"h he will be well enough to have a visit. Radiation starts next week.

We joke about it, but cat canned cat food is probably more expensive per-meal than cheapo canned soups now.

I recently heard a guy making small talk and asking a lady in a mask if she ever thought she'd see the price of a staple she was buying (flour, maybe?) be $8 and if she remembered when it was four dollars a couple of years ago under Trump.

It's a shame their stupidity can't just dissolve their savings. Ha, who am I kidding. They don't have savings. And the other half are sorta-kinda wealthy enough that it hasn't really hit them yet. A world full of Jen Angels.

It's weird, but one would almost think that a single washer or refrigerator that lasts 25+ years would be a lot more "climate friendly" than having to build, ship, etc. a new one and dispose of your old one every five years.

Depending on your browser and age of your phone, Java scripts can make trying to connect to the HQ a challenge. Turn-off Java on your browser before trying to connect and see if that helps.

I asked the salesman last year when we had to replace the not so old washer and dryer (whatever happened to the dials on them? I could fix those when needed) why my new dryer didn't have an energy star rating on it. He joked that he was pretty sure the only dryer with a star rating is a clothes line.
I think he was pretty close to the truth.
Here in Nevada though a clothes line is quicker in the summer. Can usse it about 8 months out of the year.
I also replumbed my dryer vent to heat the crawlspace under the house in winter. Smells like a dryer down there but It's warm.

I said I would see if my mom would make him one. I go ask she says oh just look in the laundry room in the "tote". The "tote" is a christmas tree storage size plastic coffin filled to the top with these hats. She says she can knock out two at bingo and one more during the evening news and has been doing it daily since the "two weeks to slow the spread". I grabbed enough hats for everyone in the shop and there were plenty left over.
